Some of my friends buying cards on that level and they know nothing about performance or power consumption, they just know nvidia xx60 series cards are the cheapest and buy that. I got questions like "is it worth to buy a used 2060?" or "is this 3060 will be good?". They did not ask me what to buy, they asked if that 60 card will be good or bad. What happened in reality is that who had 1060 6G bought a 7800XT, another also had 1060 6G bought 6800XT, one had 3060 and switched to 6800 and one with the 1050ti with the lowest budget, waiting for the new cards, but probably will buy an amd card because amd is allways better in price/performance.
I bought my Asus Tuf Gaming Rx6800xt for 359usd unopened by the owner the other day, its not really comparable to the newest RTX cards when it comes to raytracing. But boy can it give you one hell of a performance when it comes to raster! also my undervolt rarely exceeds 200w

For those whom are not familiar and questioning the results in Horizon Forbidden West and Ghost of Tsushima: We see a Driver Overhead (see noisy graph) in this games regarding the Nvidia cards here. Nothing you can do about it, as the cards tend to work better under full load with high settings. Keep up the good work.👍

At that point it’s completely not even worth it. 100 games in my library with 8-10 that even have RT. Maybe 3-4 are even worth turning on, the others are pointless “battlefield, cod for example.” RT is over rated and majority of the time is implemented so poorly it’s not worth it.

The 6800xt gets a bit faster than the 3080 ti and when you OC it can hit a 3090. The 4070 super is faster than the 6800XT, not that much, but faster. If you care about RT, get the 4070 or else go for the 6800XT.
For me, it also looked strange. I have a 6800xt and I did the benchmark that comes with Cyberpunk, and the truth is that I got 1 fps more than in the video. Even so, I find it hard to believe that in almost all those games it is above the 4070 Super.
if people do not understand the 12gb vram are a botleneck for the 4070 in many games and it will be way worse feel to play with this gpu's then with the 6800 Gpus because Frame Time is way better on the AMD gpus.

You are using 4070 super with R5 7600, your processor is bottlenecking the 4070 super i think. Its is also shown when you use bottleneck calculator to be about 11 percent. Am i missing something here?
The R5 7600 is the bottleneck here... i have the R7 7800X3D and my RTX 4070 super reaches >170FPS in Call Od Duty MWIII on QHD resolution. And i bet the RX 6800XT is bottlenecked too.
@@19Howler86 the 7800X3D is a better CPU and much stronger, those can easly handle the RTX 4090 (GPU usage 99-100%), so if you wanna upgrade in future the GPU you haven't any bottleneck. I am doing same... i have the 4070 super atm but i am looking for a 4080 super.
Eventually I paired 7600x with 4070 super so with the 7700xt it'll be perfect. Jyst saying the 7600x is quiet hot. I ran cinebench r23 and top temp was 87°C with a 360 AIO. If you undervolt 20mv and give him 100mhz more at the boost it will increase performance and loose 10°C, now running very cold, the most it did hit was 77°C which you'll never see in games@@NexifiedFPS

The difference is on the ray tracing and path tracing, impossible to play it with the 6800xt on cyberpunk, but with the 4070s is okay in 60 fps
