One week from today, I get to put my son's on. So proud. Congrats to yours!
That is awesome!. It's a really nice ceremony and I would recommend visiting the National Infantry Museum while you're there.
How cool it would be to be in the band and then get GI bill.
No argument there. And the band was amazingly good. A top notch ceremony all around.
Is this a two day event ?
The first event was Turning Green when they graduated from boot camp. Turning Blue was graduation from Infantry School and was several months after the first graduation.
And yes, the Turning Blue ceremony did last 2 days. Both on back to back days in the morning.
