J Akanishi she actually suits it well, though I must admit the the dance thing is still a little bit awkward but she pulled it off and hid by fierce look. A lot of people were saying she should have picked to be in the dance concept but, the dance were really fast-paced and more of a hip hop thing, it would be hard for her. This suits her a lot better

idk why people keep on complaining about sakura i mean the girl did REALLY good considering that this wasn't her concept at all. her vocals were stable and she had that aura that not many people have when they’re on stage. so can yall please open your eyes and accept the fact that she HAS TALENT and deserves all the love that she gets. she's very hard working too and she's willing to go out of her comfort zone because she's THAT determined to improve. stop hating on her just because you think she's "overhyped"
Watching the episode, Seoyoung did so many things wrong. Trying to get the girls to do a dance routine, not listening to her group, not using her time well. It's probably why she didn't have enough time to perfect her rap, and why this performance comes across as six individuals rather than a team. Very probably she will be eliminated next round.
Pretty disappointed with park seoyoung. This can't even be counted as a one time mistake "out of nervousness" as it was her second time "forgetting the lyrics", the trainers pointed it out too and they told her to memorize it for the performance. But she clearly showed that she wasn't going to fix anything at all and decided to be lazy lol. I don't even understand how she can have this much confidence with this attitude and lack of ability not to mention talent. Should've been last in the group.
She forgot it 3x actually... 1st was in the practice room, 2nd was during stage rehearsal, 3rd was on final stage. It's ridiculous and sometimes I wonder if she forgot it on purpose and decided to go with that nanana to fill in the gap just so she could get more screentime and be the star in this episode just like what happened to Gyuri. Welp if that was what she planned, it failed. Mnet didn't even play the mistake on repeat 😂
The blond girls is not that suitable for being a lider. Don't know if you guys remember but on the show's first evaluation Haeun was practically the only one leading the group, she even taught her, who was making many mistakes through the choreography
What's messed up was that the korean onsite voters didn't even realize that Seoyoung messed up. Bibian and Gahyun both did better than her tbh. Doa saved this performance thoo.
Chaeyoung's nonexistent lines well unlike us they only got to watch it once with no replay or pause button so it's unlikely that they realize it and even if they realize it they probably thought her rap was indeed like that, not because she forgot her rap.
it’s called professionalism then. if you start crying on the spot or looking like you’ve done something wrong then they’d know, but the fact that she hid it well worked out. so who cares, she’s a professional in the end 😂😂
Chaeyoung's nonexistent lines I think it is actually two different performances. You can tell on Jo Yuri videos that her individual cam is different from the live performance because her bangs are slightly different. Mnet are really bad since they mix the two performances together in the group performance video. It is hard to tell where Park Seoyoung messed up is just her individual cam performance or did she messed up live. Only the producers of the show knows since they control the narrative.
ali kyondai Yeah true! And even though she's having a hard time pronouncing Korean words, she tried her best to show it off more by giving her energy and making moves like a rockstar. I can totally say she's a total performer like Trainer Soyou said even though she kinda lacks in singing and dancing. But trust me, just give her time for proper training in Korea then she'll be a really great performer!
You can see the stage presence of Sakura is just outstanding here. Back in pd48, she might be not skilled enough, but her aura, stage presence, movement and expression can take everyone attention. I miss this era tho

1. Vivian - she's given line that supposed to hit high note and she did great with that. 2. Juri - same with Vivian their lines supposed to hit high note and she sang it beautiful. She's studying Korean and pronunciation for I think... for a long time? thats why she can sometimes speak in Korean so its really obvious she can sing well. 3. Sakura - her lines are supposed to be stable singing and with kinda rock voice. But damn the facial expression and then she snapped like rockstar 1:14 give it much better for this song. 4. Park seoyoung - I feel sad for her that she forgot the lyrics. Maybe this is her first time doing rap and she's so nervous that's why she forgot it. 5. Jo Ka-Hyeon and Kim Doa - They did great. They are stable. Edit: but yeah DDDD supposed to be a dance. I prefer more other songs of BlackPink like "Stay" for Sing cover. But I think they did this so they can see how well trainees do some rock version (because rock is not common)
Curia Gameplay they probably intended this song as a “rap” song hence why Doa’s the center not Juri (since Juri is main vocal). Whistle would’ve been better tho since it has some vocal parts that can highlight the girls’ vocal abilities.
but park seoyoung already forgot her lyrics during the rehearsal. i mean, shouldnt she tried harder to prevent mistakes? it looks like she was over-confident while others was trying really hard especially vivian. their arrangement could be better to if they didnt waste time on practicing the choreography. but i agree with you on the song, i would prefer stay. this song isn't for vocal anyway

I don't know if this was worse or not. I can even say even Mnet has favorable editing in terms of mistakes. Gyuri missed a high note for one line "fine" then there's like 99 screentime for it. Then Roya forgets lyrics, Mnet doesn't care repeating or having long screentime for it (she doesn't even have interview screentime of what happened)

I think the real problem is putting a girlcrush song in a vocal evaluation.They even said that the way the girls sing is the one which is judged not the dance. This is forcing the impossible unless you make/remix this song as ballad/pop-reggae or other genre version which means a remix expert is needed.
The professionalism of Japanese trainees were proved on all of the stage. Never did a crucial mistake on the stage. This performance was really awesome. *It's so unexpected to be this good* . Do Ah and Sakura stole my attention. Sakura was so intelligent. Choosing this song was a brilliant decision. She could be this good unexpectedly. Kim Do Ah, you're so fit in this type of song. She looked 10 times better with that hairstyle. What a great performance!! Vivian had a great pronounciation unexpectedly!!

I had high expectations and I’m disappointed in Seoyeong. Now I can see why Seoyeong didn’t debut when she was in YG. She clearly lacked in a lot of areas. Like dancing and singing and stage presence. SMH. Hell she even forgot the lyrics they were supposed to write themselves. She made so much hype as an ex YG trainee in the beginning and netizens gave YG shit for not debuting her. Now I can see why. She doesn’t stand out and when she does take the stage she isn’t memorable at all. YG doesn’t debut anyone unless he thinks they’re ready and she is obviously not. I don’t know what she’s been doing all those years in YG but it’s a waste. She’s had a hard time with the choreography in other challenges and had a hard time leading. She’s ambitious and I hope she gets better quick for the sake of herself and her career.
I see a lot of people sayimg Sakura's voice did not fit the song but she did really good in here, some said that she should have decided to join the dance group instead of vocals but most of the songs for dance were sexy and fast- paced, this concept actually suits her better, she's still a bit awkward when it comes to dancing but in here she was able to make it look fierce and classy. The way she project did the trick so I don't see any reason for people to complain

Honestly idk why do they keep making Park Seoyoung the leader. She's NOT a leader material, forgets her lyrics on stage, and doesn't seem to have the best judgement. This happened during Ooh Aah as well, she gets overshadowed by other members who KNOWS what they are supposed to do. If Jo Gahyun was the leader, I bet the performance would've been more solidified.

Sakura totally surprised me. I think this is her best performance on PD48. I never expected her to sound like that. Bibian too! Bibian wasn’t perfect, but wow. I never expected that out of her. Juri did amazing except for that small voice crack at the end.

Cupids 5210 yeah i think there are many weird things happened to her whenever she become the leader. She's C class leader but fell to D after reeval, then become Like Ooh Ahh 2 leader but overshadowed by Haeun, and now become DDDD leader but messed up her rap
There were definitely some messy and awkward parts for everyone here, but overall I was impressed by the charisma of everyone on this performance. Sure, I know the vocals are edited, this is a reality I'm getting used to with most K-Pop performances, save for groups like AKMU, Mamamoo, and specific solo artists. However, I was very impressed by Vivian and Sakura, I thought they held their own with the energy despite some weird little quirks here and there- I was proud of how hard they worked to fit into this concept. I was also proud of the other members for keeping the energy up despite some major set backs, specifically Seo Young forgetting several parts of her second rap bit. But even she kept her composure and powered through, which is what you have to do in those moments. Good job ladies!

J Akanishi she actually suits it well, though I must admit the the dance thing is still a little bit awkward but she pulled it off and hid by fierce look. A lot of people were saying she should have picked to be in the dance concept but, the dance were really fast-paced and more of a hip hop thing, it would be hard for her. This suits her a lot better

I don't even understand how she can have this much confidence with this attitude and lack of ability not to mention talent.

Chaeyoung's nonexistent lines I think it is actually two different performances. You can tell on Jo Yuri videos that her individual cam is different from the live performance because her bangs are slightly different. Mnet are really bad since they mix the two performances together in the group performance video. It is hard to tell where Park Seoyoung messed up is just her individual cam performance or did she messed up live. Only the producers of the show knows since they control the narrative.

1. Vivian - she's given line that supposed to hit high note and she did great with that.
2. Juri - same with Vivian their lines supposed to hit high note and she sang it beautiful. She's studying Korean and pronunciation for I think... for a long time? thats why she can sometimes speak in Korean so its really obvious she can sing well.
3. Sakura - her lines are supposed to be stable singing and with kinda rock voice. But damn the facial expression and then she snapped like rockstar 1:14 give it much better for this song.
4. Park seoyoung - I feel sad for her that she forgot the lyrics. Maybe this is her first time doing rap and she's so nervous that's why she forgot it.
5. Jo Ka-Hyeon and Kim Doa - They did great. They are stable.

I had high expectations and I’m disappointed in Seoyeong. Now I can see why Seoyeong didn’t debut when she was in YG. She clearly lacked in a lot of areas. Like dancing and singing and stage presence. SMH. Hell she even forgot the lyrics they were supposed to write themselves. She made so much hype as an ex YG trainee in the beginning and netizens gave YG shit for not debuting her. Now I can see why. She doesn’t stand out and when she does take the stage she isn’t memorable at all. YG doesn’t debut anyone unless he thinks they’re ready and she is obviously not. I don’t know what she’s been doing all those years in YG but it’s a waste. She’s had a hard time with the choreography in other challenges and had a hard time leading. She’s ambitious and I hope she gets better quick for the sake of herself and her career.

Honestly idk why do they keep making Park Seoyoung the leader. She's NOT a leader material, forgets her lyrics on stage, and doesn't seem to have the best judgement. Sakura totally surprised me. I think this is her best performance on PD48. I never expected her to sound like that. Bibian too! Bibian wasn’t perfect, but wow. I never expected that out of her. Juri did amazing except for that small voice crack at the end.

Though some of her parts, i didnt really like. Juri was great here, though not enough lines. Kahyeon is not noticeable at this performance at all, but she was actually doing good as well.

There were definitely some messy and awkward parts for everyone here, but overall I was impressed by the charisma of everyone on this performance. Sure, I know the vocals are edited, this is a reality I'm getting used to with most K-Pop performances, save for groups like AKMU, Mamamoo, and specific solo artists. However, I was very impressed by Vivian and Sakura, I thought they held their own with the energy despite some weird little quirks here and there- I was proud of how hard they worked to fit into this concept. I was also proud of the other members for keeping the energy up despite some major set backs, specifically Seo Young forgetting several parts of her second rap bit. But even she kept her composure and powered through, which is what you have to do in those moments. Good job ladies!
