I really think your on to something there Gary.. Never seen anything like that before, we looked up at one point and there had to be 100's of them circling way high up in the canyon.. I know there is a lot of bear activity nearby that it might have something to do with it to.. I hope these days keep up!

Fun to watch all that gold being revealed, and I really like the format of how you do your video sort of like a mini-series with narration. I believe your subscribers will continue to increase as more and more find your channel and enjoy the thrill of adventure - not only focused on the gold but nature and the hunt as well. So sad about the vulture-- not that we love vultures but they are nature, and help to clean up the dead things on the earth too. I'm concerned why they're dying, but I believe it may have to do with all the chemicals being sprayed into our skies, falling into the water and onto the earth...but that's my belief. Thanks again for showing us a beautiful part of the country. FAB gold! I have just teeny pieces but one day will graduate -- perhaps? lol

I would hate to leave also but since I can't walk anymore that I shouldn't worry about it. I had my day. Glad you did so well. It is fun teaching someone how to pan but it comes natural as swimming. You flounder at first and the next thing you know, your swimming everywhere. I went days without color then could find gold on the blacktop. Crazy hu?/LOL

Hi, must be so much fun picking up those gold. My friends were in South Yuba River State park this past week for fun and gold panning. I found few flecks of gold and it was an icing on the cake of being at Yuba river.
I gold pan up in colfax on the American river and it’s super beautiful. Looks just like the video!!

The lump on the back of the ball is called the sprue that's where you pour the lead of the mold and you got to cut it off and that little lump will be there I shoot black powder and I pour my own balls so that means that ball didn't travel very far and it wasn't shot

The bump on the lead ball is from the spot where the ball was cut away from the sprue when it was cast.
I use a traditional flintlock and some musket balls have a bump for the starter rod nice find

That chunk of lead round ball maybe a 440 round ball or a 44 cal for a cap n ball that bump is the Spur. When its loaded that spur is pointed up if now it will throw your ball off when its fired ..

That bump on the musket ball is called a sprue. Its from the molding process.

Why aren't you guys saying how much gold you're getting in a day? What the price of gold is, and how many ounces you get. There are 2 guys video's that show how much they found, weigh it, and amount their gold will be sold for on video like Prospector Pioneer Pauly does. I love his video's. Of course he has his own claim in BC.
If it's legal to pan for it, you should be able to tell us what your hall was for the day, week or month was. Of course don't say where you are prospecting.
My X daughter n law bought a home in the mountain of Tennessee, and they have a creek running through their property coming down from the mountains. I'm going to be sending her, and her husband a couple of the video's of panning. I believe they will hit pay gold, GOD willing!😉
