Anne Taylor’s cellphone ping expert, Sy Ray, doesn’t have actual proof of Bryan’s alibi like she led everyone to believe. Sy Ray isn’t relying on any GPS or metadata from photos or apps from Bryan’s actual cellphone. He is relying on cell phone pings, cell tower data and cellular records from AT&T. This means there is no actual proof of Bryan’s alibi because Bryan’s phone wasn’t reporting to the network for two hours, which include the exact time the slayings occurred… Thus, Sy Ray hasn’t actually corroborated Bryan’s alibi, at all. This also means that all of this talk of drive test data and calibration reports is nothing more than misdirection and deflection mumbo jumbo because there is no cellular data at all for the critical relevant timeframe of the homicides. Bryan’s phone did not report to the network nor did his phone create any network data for the relevant time period. The PCA also does not rely on any cellphone ping or cellular network data for the time of the homicides like Anne Taylor is trying to imply. There was no network data during that timeframe. That is why Sy Ray is hyper focused on the travel towards Moscow over an hour PRIOR to the murders. He has nothing for the actual time of the murders. This hearing has all but confirmed that the defense has no actual proof of Bryan’s alibi whatsoever and that, even after all the records are produced, there will still be NOTHING from the actual time the crime took place because there was no network activity. Thus any Drive testing is completely irrelevant. Any timing advanced data is completely irrelevant and every single claim that this “missing data” is exculpatory to Bryan Kohberger is nothing more than posturing and bluffing by Anne Taylor and Sy Ray because THERE WAS ZERO ACTIVITY ON THE NETWORK DURING THE ACTUAL TIME OF THE MURDERS.

As I read through the chat its just like I expected. Even if they have a witness that says LE and Prosecution is submitting wrong evidence you have a whole line of people saying its all BS. Those 4 victims deserve for this to be done right or for people to listen and pay attention and not just assume. People need to really think about if he is the wrong guy that means the right ones are still out there and living life up because they know they got a fall guy. People need to go back to the beginning because there is so much that pieces together but as soon as Bryan came into play they didnt care to hear those pieces anymore which is exactly what LE wanted
Yes. His words when discussing his little map that he created with math crap: the car could POSSIBLY be the suspect and MIGHT HAVE DRIVEN down that road. On one point he was quite firm and clear. When AT asked him out of the thousands of hours of videos collected was there EVEN ONE glimpse of Kohberger's car his response was "NO."
Literally they have nothing. He needs to be allowed to go home, even if it’s on an ankle bracelet. He should of never been arrested. Also I’d like to see a down to the Penny record of where the money went that the Government gave them to solve this case.
Why do people feel entitled to information prior to the trial? That's part of the problem bc people feel they aren't being transparent bc there's something nefarious. It would be irresponsible to release all info pre trial imo
@lav1206 If the prosecution had a slam dunk case, we'd ABSOLUTELY hear about it, through a "leak" or otherwise. Instead, they are scrambling to find phantom FBI agents and distancing themselves from their own PCA. Have you ever seen anything this ridiculous?
@@WildFireArcher1 "Why do people feel entitled to information prior to the trial?' Because that's the standard for the American justice system. It has been set up in a way that the public has the right to observe the proceedings and get the information. Not every single piece of evidence is released prior to a trial, and certain information is redacted to protect individuals, but that is the exception to the "open door" policy. The courts are supposed to operate with full transparency. In the United States, the public does have "the right to know" which includes everything leading up to a trial because it's all part of the same legal system.
I agree. There is absolutely no way they didn’t know what was going on. And let’s not forget the one roommate heard “something” and it made her look out the door and see a man walking out the door. They didn’t call 911 until hours and hours later. Unreal.
They live in a college house allot of loud weird stuff goes on and you just stay in your room ! As soon as the noise is done you just wanna go to bed annoyed . And everyone had been drinking . Brian Kohberger did it !!!
For a death penalty case prosecution needs to “find” the information they seem to be missing. The ones they say they didn’t receive but is listed so it had to be.
Everyone saying “he’s guilty” why would he allow someone with the expertise of Mr. Ray to come in and testify after he investigates and pin points Bryan’s location that night? Bryan wouldn’t allow that if he knew he was at king road killing 4 people. He’s confident in where he was, something stinks in this case! This thing is much bigger than people know.
Look up Sy Rays history with his TRAX software. Something like 17 cases were found to be faulty because the software didn’t work. He has been taken off multiple cases. He doesn’t even qualify as an expert, he’s an ex beat cop.
Making it easy for the prosecution with him on the team, especially because he is all over YT showing his bias. Wife been seen in chat of very suspect channels.

I hope that Ethan and the girls get the justice they deserve, I feel bad for their families… crooked people deserve to lose their jobs.also the judge is with the prosecutors side.that was a given..it is disgusting what has been discovered this week. I have always heard that it will all come out in the wash and it is
If this is a cover up by Police it should be investigated by pros not by Idaho's failed Police department! From the start it wasn't handled correctly instead I believe it was not a professional investigation but lacking from preserving the crime scene, throughout the house, the two other roommates that covered up things by calling friends first, all the tunnels and the destruction of the house per who had the authority to demand it! Nothing was done correctly it was all a botched hurry up job!
Nevermind the 8 hr delay right?! Let's ignore the fact that they claimed they were frozen in shock but called others over! Let's ignore the fact that their stories changed! Or the fact that they would have smelled or seen all the blood as gory as it was supposed to be! I mean cmon there was blood on the outside of the house!! OR the glove but no dna test?! The dog definitely would have been barking non stop ...you telling me they decided not to check on him at all and zoned him out...or are we going to act like the fact that the college had so much power in this case to tear down the house ( off campus) before the trial!!! because " its a constant reminder of the murder" is normal?! If it takes you seeing the house to be reminded you obviously don't care enough! Or the fact the defense has asked 13x now for evidence?! Drop the 911 call if Bethany and Dylan are innocent!! It's all a cover up
What exactly are you basing this statement on. The prosecution was not even concerned enough with Sy Ray to even ask him any questions. I think this is because they have the evidence they need to find BK guilty. If they had a weak case they would never seek the Death Penalty.
The Moscow police bungled this whole thing big time when a person's life is on the line it is imperative that all the facts Point to him and clearly the police have exaggerated the evidence they have on him and now have no way to corroborate their story, as said evidence clearly does not exist. So far defence are proving clear Reasonable Doubt and the trial hasn't even started yet. I have personally sat in court through over 90 court cases and as boring as it may seem to the layperson it is incredibly important when somebody's life is on the line
Biggest case in Moscow history, in these "detectives" lives, and they cannot remember extremely important things they did in their efforts to arrest and convict this guy. I have finally decided that MPD is BOTH corrupt and incompetent.
By the time this actually gets to the actual trial, none of the proposed 400 witnesses are going to remember anything ! I feel for the poor jury who have to endure sitting through 40,000 “I can’t recall” responses
Then again he should not be convicted because people remember seeing the case on TV or social media. He should be convicted because evidence presented during trial proves that he is guilty.

I don't buy that another resident watched as the alleged assailant walked by her in the same house she lived in. Then she didn't do anything and went back to bed. Didn't call the cops, and instead waited for at least 9 hours after the alleged encounter in her house, and only called friends first. The alleged assailant in my opinion is one of the other roommates or a friend.
I don't think any of that is too farfetched. What do you expect a young college woman to do in that scenario? It could be that she knows what to make of the events if or what was heard was accurate. What I do find peculiar is how she is able to describe the eyebrows of someone which means at the very least a dim light must have been on and being in an enclosed area they would have been aware of each other presence just by a glance. Everything else would have just a matter of shock but not for salient who would have been high on adrenaline so I don't see how he could have overlooked someone he was apparently walking straight towards. Other than that the case seems botched unless the DNA proves to the true.
@@JonahJayTaylor Touch DNA can't be used as the sole basis for the case. It will get overturned on appeals. Many lawsuits for wrongfully convicted people are due to Touch DNA (which is not the same as traditional DNA evidence). If BK gets clear of this he will likely be able to sue for a lot of money. If all they have is the Touch DNA it's difficult to see this being a conviction and even less so being a conviction with any real staying power.

They refused to give it to her. They said the FBI has it and they are waiting for it back. They don’t know where it is. (Bc it didn’t exist) doesn’t exist. They made it up to target Brian.
It's the prosecutors job to hand over their evidence to the defense. Then the defense use that information to prove their clients innocents. It should be readily available.

I think alot of people following this case are wondering why there isn't more DNA evidence and blood spatter from the stabbing action. In the first two murders of Kaylee and Maddie, I imagine both victims beside each other with sheets and other bed linens such as a possible comforter (It was cold) covering both of them. The killer would have stabbed them through the bed linens and when cocking his weapon for multiple thrusts, most of the blood evidence instead of spattering everywhere, would have been wiped clean by the sheets and comforter material, can't explain with confidence how blood evidence would have been wiped clean from the weapon or prevented from spattering all over with the murders of Xana and Ethan
There is no trial date yet because the defense still hasn't received all the discovery, and the prosecution allegedly still hasn't received all the evidence from the FBI. Oh Ms. Taylor, you need to watch more UA-cam videos 😅 45:18 I think Kohberger drove east on Palouse River Dr and then south near Blaine/Genessee where he turned his phone back on. I bet some of the businesses hadn’t changed the time on their cameras for the switch back to standard time which would account for the video clips from 5 am-6 am. And finally, I think the federal grand jury and/or FBI discovered some other crime(s) Kohberger was engaged in (perhaps digital crimes? interstate commerce crimes?) and they obtained his phone records just prior to MPDs warrants which would explain why the FBI was so quick to produce an initial analysis of the phone pings using timing advance reports, etc. I want to know more about the federal grand jury! Federal grand juries cannot be convened solely for investigative purposes; there must be, at a minimum, suspicion a federal crime was committed. What was the critical piece of evidence Ms Massoth references 2:24:25 claiming was “obtained” through a federal subpoena??? Perhaps evidence Kohberger purchased the knife sheath online? Why isn’t the media (or internet sleuths) covering the federal investigation of Kohberger? I guess I’m probably making the federal angle a bigger deal than it is….

It looks like she’s showing us that they didn’t/don’t actually have evidence to arrest BK, much less hold him in jail, and seek the death penalty. Payne literally lied in the PCA according to his testimony today. He misled the people.
A police department should have absolutely no problem proving the qualifications of their employees. Every department should be proud to have highly qualified employees who regularly undergo further training. this is not the trial, there hasn’t even been a date set yet for the trial there’s just been a bunch of hearings for different motions set forth by the defense mostly
The trial isn’t going to start until summer 2025 sadly. Because it’s a death penalty trial, the judge has to be extra careful so BK doesn’t get off on his appeals.

The ones involved are the ones not being spoken about or the ones who were used to distract others on the outside from the truth by creating the illusion that they were never there at the home at all.. this was obvious by the planned phone calls made by the perps to an ex bf as a way to allude that they were never there but were just being called. The frat boys and all the elders involved in the cover up of a young pledges death are who committed this crime.. it was a crime of passion, and they all agreed to go through with it, because the house and self preservation of those who pledged under it, is what’s most important. The fear of whatever those 4 had to prove their case against one of the oldest fraternities in history with a brotherhood that doesn’t end with graduation but continues on until the end.
This means there is no actual proof of Bryan’s alibi because Bryan’s phone wasn’t reporting to the network for two hours, which include the exact time the slayings occurred…
Thus, Sy Ray hasn’t actually corroborated Bryan’s alibi, at all.

When LE and experts use words like "maybe" and "I believe" and "I don't remember" you gotta know there's a problem.

The 2nd part is sealed? This should all be made public, especially on a death trial... so much for total transparency.
We're lucky we even got to see this part- the prosecution argued for it to be sealed as well.
@@WildFireArcher1 "Why do people feel entitled to information prior to the trial?'
Because that's the standard for the American justice system.

Well MAYBE if the State turned over the information requested by the defense on the 1st Motion to Compel or the 2nd, we wouldn't be here. Instead they are on the 7th motion to COMPEL, and the state still haven't turned over what was requested of them. MAYBE if the FBI turned over the cast-viz reported J.Judge subpoened them to do so 18 MONTHS AGO, we wouldn't be here. But yeah, blame the defense 🙄
?
@@christineleal7718 I'm not sure what's going on with Judge Judge. It seems like he's very out of his depth here.
Whst the heck are all of you talking about? Of course he is guilty. Whats changed?
He's guilty AF. He's a spineless SOB.
How
Taylor is investigating the investigators. I don’t see the point in needing training records among other things I won’t mention. Delays for days. If an investigator wrote a note on a post-it, she wants a copy of it by golly.
I don't blame her
Do you want a podiatrist performing brain surgery on you? This is a death penalty case!!
She’s trying to prove her clients innocence! Of course she wants copy’s of everything. That’s her job 😂
These individuals are paid with taxpayer money and claim to stand for the safety of the community. You should ask yourself why you see this as a problem and why these documents are not handed over as a matter of course when you want to convict a person to death based on the work of these people.
Wow! And some UA-camrs say there is no evidence.
What evidence did you hear? Be detailed. I didn’t hear anything at all.
@@tula1433 so when the lady from the state detailed all the evidence turned over to the defense, you must have had you speakers muted, because she took about 10 minutes explaining everything that was turned over. Unless you are one of the deniers of everything that the state or LE puts forward, like some on UA-cam.
@@Boondog-j6tdid you also not here the defense’s rebuttal when she stated though they had received some of the discovery material, some of the information were still missing. For example: the first part of the MAID data was provided which the defense confirmed but were missing the second part “babble” they need that too because it was listed in the inventory.
@@theboujieliberian I agree there is even more evidence to be turned over. And I know that not all of it will show up in the trial, but for the folks saying there is no evidence, it was just mentioned in the hearing and confirmed by myself and now you.
The other thing that shocked me was how insignificant Sy Ray testimony seemed to the prosecution. Almost like they know whatever he says doesn’t even matter because they have the solid evidence that they need. The prosecution did not even ask him a single question. If they were worried about his testimony they would have questioned him on his recent case in Colorado, where his testimony was not aloud by the judge. They would have tried to diminish his credability.
They could not question Sy Rays credibility. He is clearly an expert. They didn't ask him any questions because they would have just looked like fools. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE
When is his real trial starting?
Hopefully 2025. The judge gave the prosecutors until September of this year to turn over the discovery (including the items they were supposed to turn over in March and in July of 2023, respectively) so the trial cannot be scheduled until after that's done.
If BK was indeed separating his trash from everyone else’s with latex gloves when they surprise arrested him then that tells me all I need to know 🙄 HOWEVER, I am worried for the states case here, although I wouldn’t expect anything other than a cleverly carried out murder from a criminology major ☝🏻
How many days has this trial been going?
this is not the trial, there hasn’t even been a date set yet for the trial
there’s just been a bunch of hearings for different motions set forth by the defense mostly
The trial has not started. The trial might not start until March of 2025.
The trial isn’t going to start until summer 2025 sadly. Because it’s a death penalty trial, the judge has to be extra careful so BK doesn’t get off on his appeals.
It’s not a trial.
Zero days. The trial hasn’t begun. Duh 🙄
Laken Riley's killer's trial is this August, six months after her murder. Why is Kohberger getting so much time? It's ridiculous.
Idk that case, but it might be because they had solid evidence that couldn't be argued.
Because the prosecutors still haven't turned over all the discovery evidence they're required to. They can't set a trial date before they give the defense all of the evidence they have to. I would recommend watching the hearings.
Send that note to Bill Thompson.
This is a typical timeframe for other big cases in Idaho. Prosecutors have to give the discovery first though and they haven't.
Say uhhh or ummm again. Youre gong to LOSE the jury!!!
There is no jury! This is only a pre- trial motions hearing!
I believe Bryan is innocent!!
Wrongo
If the labs were able to create a STR profile and at least one SNP profile, the amount left was a fairly decent amount of single source dna
I believe so too
🤣😂
Amazing how some time goes by and more people are saying this. In the beginning I was roasted for saying that I don't think he did this crime.
Not enough evidence to even have BK in this court room
I just want to see evidence,,❤❤
Judge should be removed! Trial -if there is one- otherwise will be gross
What would someone do to save themselves from prosecution? Better yet, What would a group of likeminded individuals with a mutual fear of being found out in something they all covered up together….. ppl will do crazy things to preserve themselves from being exposed
Payne seems super professional and honest imo
😂😂😂
Did you count how many times he said “I don’t know, or can’t recall”.
Nice and professional, can’t even tell you where the evidence is that they used to arrest BK.
Clown comment.
His investigation certainly wasn't.
You forgot "IF memory serves me correct" 😄
@@jr9852 thats all pretty common. there are teams that tasks are delegated out to, the entire investigation wasn't in this mans hands.
It would be very concerning if he really did forget everything he said "I don't know" to. This man was supposed to be the lead investigator! He also knew about this hearing and had time to prepare. He could have shown up with all his ducks in a row instead of wasting time.
Im blown away at what a shotty job the state has done in this investigation.
I'm not. The state is always very shady. They will push these charges on you, have nothing, you argue your innocence and prove it but the judge will still rule against you. This is the standard procedure for everyday people. BK is very lucky this trial is very public. It is helping him alot because the more eyes on it, will keep the state, and judge honest.
Significant locations are missing in the data …. Video … very disturbing - sy ray
Judge seems bored and already decided a verdict!!
The Judge does not make a verdict. The Jury decide the verdict.
He is bored, baffled and biased, that's for sure.
