- Today 27th May saw an emergency drill against a possible invasion from China www.taiwannews... known as 萬安演習 Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport said that passengers for flights between 2pm and 4pm should arrive before the drill due to some road closures.
Wow, that has to be one of the best ACA Cyclone audio I've heard on a siren test video !
The shrill of the ACA cyclone just overtakes and saturates the foreground noise. Quite incredible.

@Brokejak Not completely since maybe it was a special deal, but they are different. They are also upside down and the even have a single tone variant.

Ya “ACA” installs their sirens in different countries such as Taiwan (this country In the video) Oman South Africa México and last Vietnam
There was also 3 ACA electro-mechanical sirens in the uk: a cyclone 125 and a banshee 115 but they got removed. A screamer s-10 still stands down in plymouth though
There were 120s in Saudi Arabia but there were replaced
And that's why i love the ACA Cyclone it sound scary when you are far from it
Edit: before someone says about it being a ACA P-50 it's probably a ACA Cyclone cuz the sound don't see to change direction
I just got back to Taiwan after 3 years away, I walked past a police station and it's the first time that I saw one (i never knew about them before) Typed your cyclone in and it looks exactly like that unless there's different companies that look the same too but the whole shape is the same as the google images
It’s an aca cyclone 125 with a hörmann ecn 1200? They are normally found on top of police stations for some reason but make it easier for me to siren hunt.
Unless it's a siren made by a Taiwanese based comapny called Wenhua Engineering Co., Ltd. It a company that makes sirens similar to Cyclones and it unknown what there single tone and dual tone models are called

Crazy sirens, the first Friday of every month at noon our sirens here get tested, but ours are more bad weather (tornado) sirens than they are for air raids. Cool sounds but also always a bit eerie.
The sirens you hear in this video are made in the US, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Taiwan happens to be one of the few other countries than the US to use that siren model (look for ACA Cyclone and you'll see tons of the same siren with the same sound but in the US)

the P50 is just a cyclone 120 in a massive shroud (pretty much a bucket) which amplifies (increases) the sound
That was an Aca cyclone. You can tell how fast it winds up and down. That’s how I know it’s a cyclone

This siren sounds like Saudi Arabia (1991)
There were many sirens in Saudi Arabia, so it sounds like that, search scud attacks on Saudi Arabia near 24:00 or 23:00 you would hear this.

I think on my live stream yesterday when the airport terminal kept getting in the way that they are also covered by a round brown box.
This is not a ACA Cyclone 125, They Made the designs and ports to sound exactly like a Cyclone 125, if you search up a picture of one in Taiwan, You can see the motor is on the bottom. And not inside the top part, So it’s not a ACA Cyclone 125.
this is an aca cyclone 125. all of the cyclones in Taiwan are aca cyclones, and the one with the stator and motor the wrong way around is just a cyclone thats been modified strangely by Taiwan. the only cyclone clones in Taiwan are the single tone ones that are significantly smaller
What do you guys have to do in that situation ? In case of invasion ?

Sounds like the old San Onofre Nuclear Generation Station system (1983 - 2005) with STL 10s
There were no cyclones in that system just stl10s and socal Edison model 120s, which are 8 port stator, 4 port chopper supercharged by a centrifugal blower, In 2005 they were replaced by whelen wps 2800 series sirens before the system was removed in 2019

Some Hormann or Hormann-clone sirens are also audible; DK Technologies (DKTEC) is a Taiwanese manufacturer of electronic outdoor sirens that seem to be based on the Hormann product.
They’re ACA Cyclone 125’s. Due to Taiwan using a 50hz electrical system as opposed to a 60hz system like the USA, ACA had to use different motors, which explains the faster wind-up.
@@stampycatfan01lol and I suppose different port numbers to match up the 60 hz 8/12 port.
Discovering the world & more They probably still retain the 8/12 port ratio, though I’m not 100% sure.
