Then they hyped the audience even more though the music was fading. The ending was awkward and Mamamoo did that on purpose and I'm so proud of them for standing up for this mistreatment. Mamamoo have been pushed around countless times since their debut days, but not this time. They've earned some well-deserved senior balls since then and Melon needed a reminder who they're messing with.
MMM didn't return to their seats & left after this. I'm guessing Hwasa also needs to rest because she's been sick for days (There was a fancam of her in Twitter coughing nonstop while they were sitting with other idols. It's heartbreaking T_T). Imagine her practicing diligently for this stage instead of recovering, only for Melon to mess up her performance i-- *cries
On a lighter note, Moonbyul posted a photo of Wheein in her IG while the show is still ongoing... indirectly telling everyone that Mamamoo has left the building and because... priorities. LOL.

shes saying "you're a twit" basically saying ur an idiot and because the letters are PD we can fairly assume shes throwing rightfully deserved shade at the MMA PDs
You know the one thing that made this performance even close to “ok” was the fact that the boxes were literally how the performance went, locked up, concealed, and small. They were in there for the majority of the song, MAMAMOO are queens that deserve much more than this. You can tell how mad Hwasa is and Byul looks like she does not want to be there.
I notice some bts fans take offense when we compare bts' 40 min with MMM's 4 min. We're not saying that bts doesn't deserve the 40 min. We're bringing up bts' 40 min to put into perspective just how little 4 min is. It's 10%. That's how little mmm got to perform. Bts went through so much hardships to get to where they are. MMM went through the same hardships. The 2 groups have a lot of similarities. And I know there are a lot of armymoos out there. So let's not get offended so easily. What we're trying to drive home is the fact that they are similar groups (in terms of age and talent) yet one was treated very differently compared to the other. It's such a sad reality. :(

I know its late comment and I am an Army and also a Moomoo. They are one of the best idols that I knew. Looks, vocal, rap, performance, stage present and many more. Im disappointed on how they treating mamamoo. 30-40 for BTS, 15 minutes for TXT and Less than 10 minutes for other artist what the hell is wrong with you guys? There is a lot of Kpop artist who deserved to perform.

@@Ace-bk7iu as far as i know none of the other artists released a song after the 13th which was the cutoff date. Someone else said their stage got cut at the last minute too but where is that coming from? Truly hope the girls will not attend mma next year

They finished rhe performance because of moomoo, not MMA.
If they actually got given at least 10 minutes, they would've been able to perform their new hit song HIP, Gogobebe and maybe even Destiny as well (AT A NORMAL SPEED TOO). But no, MMA decided to give them 3 minutes to perform Gogobebe (AT A FAST SPEED) with a prerecorded version of TWIT. MMA missed a really good opportunity since Mamamoo is a popular group. I'm thankful the 2018, 2019, 2020 MAMA Awards treated Mamamoo 10000 times better

Elene Qaldani Mamamoo got 4 minutes to perform, Hwasa got 3 minutes, no red carpet interview, cut from nomination videos even though they were in third place after bts and exo, cut from credits in the end
How the MMA’s ruined MMM’s performances:
1) speeding it up and only giving them a little over 7 min and giving many other groups WAY more time
2) let’s not forget they were ignored on the red carpet and they are LITERAL queens who thrived with gogobebe
3) putting them in between rookies when they are practically veterans in the kpop industry
You can honestly see how pissed off they are compared to their other performances when they are genuinely having fun😔

@K-pop My Hearteu No, MMA cut the song Gogobebe during Mamamoo's performance. That's the reason they don't have music on the final of the video.
@@earl7983 How MMA snubbed Mamamoo: only group to not get interviewed on red carpet, Mamamoo as a group and Hwasa as a soloist were voted top 3 for bosang but weren't announced as such, we're 99% sure they cut Mamamoo's stage last minute since their outfits were set up for HIP and Mamamoo referenced HIP at the end, Hwasa's stage literally had a line cut out, they were cut out of the ending recap video,
Reason: unknown, but likely MMM from a small company, one of the larger companies wanted more time so they cut from Mamamoo and told them last min.
Mamamoo was super pissed off and clapped back: Solar signed a car door instead of the window and wrote the group's name in large font, they were literally yelling out the lines and you can see it on their faces, "aint no love in this party" (pretty clear lol), Hwasa posed at the end of Twit with two guys spelling "PD" referencing producer while calling him a Twit, their choreographer posted a pic with her shirt saying "TWIT" and caption as "MMA," Byul started posting on Instagram before the show was even over lol, Hwasa sprayed the camera, they left spray paint on the floor lol, left right after their performance, the end dialogue was literally "how is it today" "cut cut cut, we have to cut it"

Hwasa at 5:41 looked so tired and upset. I can't believe they got treated like this. Moonbyul sounded like she was ready to kick the camera during her rap, Wheein lacked all of her playful energy and even Solar who was trying her best to make it another amazing mmm performance was putting on strained smiles, and only when she was the focus. I can't wait for the diss track that throws this entire awards show to the flames.

In Korea, the rookie groups should be performed before the seniors because this shows respect in Korean culture.

yalda E.H MMA gave them only 7 mins split into Hwasa Twit (3mins) and Mamamoo Gogobebe (4mins), Hwasa performed live but they put a pre-recorded shorter version of Twit for the broadcast, the girls didn't get a red carpet interview, they performed around the first half of the show (on korean award shows the order usually goes rookies first and senior lasts) and they were the only senior girlgroup.
The girls were mad and threw some shade during their performance. The hashtag #RespectMamamoo got #1 trending on korea and top 25 worldwide.

They are one of the senior groups yet they were performing before rookie groups and their performance time were even less than rookies. MMA also cut some of Hwasa's Twit performance, too. #respectMamamoo
They barely got 8 mins to perform whereas BTS got 40 mins, when both are seniors. The entire MMA was centered around BTS, showing their reactions to everything. Mamamoo might as well have not been there, with the exception of winning one award, and being made to perform with the rookies, just because they aren't from the Big 3 or BigHit.
So, many of us were expecting MMM to perform before BTS as one of the best and senior performers, but the mistreatment they got was too much. Even TXT got more time, almost double.
As @Superion74 mentioned below, MMA simply forgot to interview only them on the red carpet and give them a VCR at the end, despite the fact that Mamamoo is the most respected group by all generations and Hwasa is the most popular female idol. They didn't even show them as nominees for the daesangs, despite them being in the top 3. All this lead to mamamoo leaving the show early, not before shading MMA like the confident queens they are!😏

Why did rookie groups get 10-15 minutes while Mamamoo, a senior and top-selling group only got 7. That's mad disrespectful. If they were able to give BTS 40 minutes to perform, they could have definitely given mamamoo at least 5 more minutes or something. Not shading your groups, however, if your favorite group was treated this poorly, you'd be upset as well. Their outfits suggest that they were going to perform hip afterwards, and if you've ever seen any mamamoo performances you know they always finish excitingly and strong. They definitely had to rush thorough their performance and cut the last remaining part, which most likely would have been Hip. Uggh they treat mamamoo as if they're not the top selling girl group that they are.
