I scooped these up a couple weeks ago and added to my ASICS collection. First GT 2160 for me and they hold up to the Kayano 14 and GEL NYC. I was looking for a mostly all white ASICS sport style and these were the most reasonable price. Comfort and clean look. Great pickup especially for the price
My wide foot is snug but not uncomfortable. GT2160 ✅

I ran my first marathon in a GT2170 back in 2015 in a white blue and black color way. They are almost identical to the 2160s now and I just had to get two pairs, one in baby blue the other in a darker blue and black/silver. Definitely a nostalgia buy!

I’m so glad they have re-released these ASICS GT-2160. These are the best running shoes I’ve owned and was gutted when it was discontinued. But I remember mine had the IGS Duomax technology support but these don’t seem to have the support?
nope doesn’t seem like it!
@@SeanGo is it the same running shoe in terms of its performance. With the IGS Duomax support technology, it was a very comfortable stable running shoe (back in 2011).
Between gt2160 and gel kayano 14 which one is more comfortable?

The 1130 that I bought a couple months ago are super comfortable, I have zero issues with them. Last week I bought the 2160 and have worn them 4 times. From the first day my heels just kind of felt tired/sore. They fit really good, the size is great (I go one size up), they aren't too snug or too loose. Have no idea what the problem is. If you get them, I would suggest to walk for a couple of hours indoors to test them out.
Just a solid everyday beater for me and the Wifey.

Once you get some dirt and scuff on these man, I imagine it's going to be very hard to clean. This model in particular isn't Asic's best.
