Thank you for what you said about Tom having the right to say whatever he wants about America! The “he’s Canadian” complaint basically mean he shouldn’t be speaking anything about America and it is such a bigoted thing to say. He is a legal immigrant and has just as much right to speak anything he wants as a person born and raised in the US.

I remember when I was 16, sitting outside, looking at money and wondering...why does this control my life? It's just paper w/ink on it....and through the years I was always "outside" the norm...but it was because I have a moral code. I never was one to drink all day, never did drugs and because of that I have never fit in. Without Canadians some of the best artistic stuff produced in music, TV, movies and comedy would have never happened to entertain us. Tom has a message that he keeps on recreating through his music. The regular media keeps on controlling it's same message every moment of every day. This song is the first cut off of his Renegade album. Great and fair reaction, ty. Tom wants to inspire people and yes copying is flattering, but not copying then hating and trying to hurt him or backstabbing. Do you see any of these guys out here thanking him for paving the way for independent artist to beat the industry? Nope, only jealousy and hate and fake claims and criticisms. Tom actually gave Eminem his flowers not diss him to get noticed. Also, Tom has a lot of influence and if he did a diss, it would certainly destroy that persons career and possibly life. And yes Tom IS an American unfortunately, we would like him back but he has said thousands of times he only feels at home in the US. Toms 3rd verse was chilling, the passion and emotion behind that really hits hard. I can't fathom how people can hear this verse and still believe that he doesnt care about what he speaks on. Also i think the red pill line overlapped meaning with the Matrix too, to open your eyes. I love your outlook, and appreciate your conversations and rational approach, it gives me hope seeing this, ive been following you for a while so thank you. I remember in the video he made about answering the top questions that were googled about him where he said he was working on his dual citizenship but I haven’t seen any update about that process. It doesn’t change my opinion about him having every right to speak his mind about America as anyone born and raised here! I would just love to see his comments on it since I must have missed it.
