Yeah, you pretty much need to get used to it. I still switch back and forth between Manual and Auto after all these years - only car I've really mastered the manual transmission with is the GTR-1 lol
The Caddie is great in MM2 but I just find the Beetle to be a lot easier to drive in, even though it's very slippery in rainy/snowy conditions. Very good for squeezing through tight spaces and traffic jams as well.

by the way which car is better VW beetle or Cadillac el dorado
