Great indepth video man 👏, I've been using the Blur guard for a few weeks now, and it's a game-changer! At first, I was skeptical because I've always used a guard system, but now I can't imagine fading without it. I've tried different methods, and this is what works best for me: 1. Bulk removal with a number 2 guard 2. Punch in my guideline 3. Work my way down with the Blur guard, and I'm done! I use it zero gap and it works perfectly. Honestly, it's a massive time-saver. It takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's amazing. Andis have taken note They're also re-releasing the phat master blade on the 1st of May Exciting times!
I have been watching your videos 📸 since i was a beginner baber. Now i m a professional barber and your videos and your characters helped me a lot i m from Tunisia 🇹🇳
Love the blur blade! Cuts so well and detailing has never been easier. Also the sound it makes is so satisfying and helpful. That blade literally chirps.
Clipper and trimmers last me more than a year but the foil every 4 months or so is good. The rebel foils are very sharp and made out of a softer metal so i replace more often
thank you for this video, you are of course late with this product and information that phat cannot be bought, but you helped me a lot in previous videos. Sometimes it’s a pity that you get so few views while remaining as useful as possible and trying so hard. I wanted to write that you are using the wrong type of clipper for this blade, and in this video I was once again convinced of this, respect 🇷🇺.
My instincts didn't come with the thick cutting blade and when i switched it to the thicker cutting blade it got super loud....same thing happened when i tried putting a taper blade on the cyborg....I think i might be dine with any clipper company not based in the US
The blurr blade is great. The released phat master blade opens up to a detachable #2 compared to the blurr blade so it might even be better. A in depth comparison video would be great. These tools save lots of time.
You conveniently left out that the Phat Blade is coming back out on the market. I don’t get the Andis hate bro. I’m dropping an in depth comparison between the two soon.
@@UA-camBarberAcademy the Phat blade that I just mentioned. Cordless T outliner, Supra ZR, Emerge, resurge, pro foil, Revite. They have done more things that everyone else has copied than anyone else. Sure they have misses but they take shots because they don’t play it safe like Wahl or just don’t try like Oster.
@@thewoodshedbarber the t outliners are the most outdated liners that you almost never see anybody using the revite trash that the blade falls off. All they had to do was keep selling the phat master blade, but they didn’t all they had to do was leave the double zero magnetic guard alone, but they didn’t. The shaver is rough has the least amount of runtime of any shaver. The supra is OK I’ll give you that all I really see is a company that has way too many people in it. That moves way too slow and does nothing for Barber over and over again. I have spoke with some of their upper level people and they say Andis is an old boat and it takes a long time to turn.
@@UA-camBarberAcademy t outliners are not my favorite but they stayed true to the design instead of just dumping it to “fit in”. The Revite problem was addressed pretty quickly and the new ones don’t fall off at all, they have brought back the phat blade and the OG zero guard, because they are listening to barbers and are even bringing us in on design input. As far as shaver time goes, bro have you ever had a shaver die on you for real? And the Supra is ok? You even had to admit on your detachable comparison that it’s the best, you just preferred what you were used to which is the Octane. And that’s cool, preference is all we really have as reviewers. But it’s seems like you are hating to hate. I’ve also talked to the big dogs at Andis and they have let go of a lot of the old guard that was “slowing stuff down” they have big things coming. Text comes across strange sometimes, I’m not trolling or beefing or anything negative…. No shade thrown. But a company that’s built so much for our industry and was the fastest and most innovative for 85 years needs a little grace to catch up to what’s happened in the past 6 years. First to have a t blade First to have zero gapable trimmer blades First to use magnetic guards First tool that barbers hacked and discovered the importance of skeletonizing a trimmer. The Phat Blade First to have ceramic blades First to make detachable adjustable blades- which tons are copying now They have done a lot bro! All Barber Love 🤜🏼💥🤛🏼

How often do you change out your clipper, trimmer and foil shaver blades? If at all. Thanks brother.

Daaaaaaamn, I haven't heard crunch like that since the 90's!! 😂😂
Isn't that a testament to the cutter blade and not the still?
Thats what im saying i think that speaks volumes to how good these slim deep tooth cutters are
The problem I had with the old phat master blade is that it didn’t work so well on coarse hair! I wonder is this one any better.

Try using your regular clipper first 1/2 to open then use blur blade so try using 2 clippers and no guards
My instincts didn't come with the thick cutting blade and when i switched it to the thicker cutting blade it got super loud....same thing happened when i tried putting a taper blade on the cyborg....I think i might be dine with any clipper company not based in the US
Can you do Video on the andis master blade on the instincts?
The Phatmaster one? i gotta get ahold of one first
@@UA-camBarberAcademy no just a regular master blade, whenever I open mine up it gets really loud. But when it’s closed it’s just fine
@@The_UnrulyBarber did you put the stretch bracket on it?
@@UA-camBarberAcademy no
@@The_UnrulyBarber the master blade opens further than the Stylecraft so you need to put the stretch bracket and that should solve your problem
