I remember buying so many of LOB when I was younger I had never imagined it would become this mythical status of pack. So amazing I remember pulling my first blue eyes from one of these packs with my cousin. I wish I had taken much better care of my cards and never sold them. Unfortunately that's life but man the memories from Yugioh still so fresh!
How cheap things can be 8n the present but how expensive they can be 10 years in the future
We would all be rich if we kept the cards we had when we were kids. I gave mine away for some dumb reason. Wish I still had them all I had a crazy collection

personally i prefer glossy foils, having too many shiny things ruins the artwork.

That raigeki card pull-out was so nostalgic that it brought me back to the time when I tried to cut class just to buy a pack of cards and show them to my mates.

@@brockmalcom8103 un opened packs are, those cards worth nothing meanwhile. Back in the time the black luster soldier as the chaos emperor dragon were over 100$ before being banned, now you can find them on eBay for third the price. Only pokemon cards got boosted in price due to youtuber inflation
@@iM7SnaKe What are you talking about? These first edition ultra rare LOB cards are worth 10k - 50k graded lol. First ed Chaos Emperor Dragon is worth like 5k PSA 10. You might be looking at the reprint versions of these cards. The originals are worth thousands.

@@thevintagevaluesexperience4302 Nah; maybe at least in part but I just have a fondness for the way older cards are printed in general. Something about their roughness just feels like they're printed better, in a roundabout way (modern cards just feel cheap to me; like they're too slick).
I still remember back when I was a kid; my parents bought original LOB packs from our local card store and they were my allowance for when I behaved good or did well in school. And of course; I never pulled *ANYTHING* good! lol

wavy for sure! they have a really cool uniquely vintage look to them that none of the other cards have. also the cards are more rare than glossy so that makes them more desirable too.

I've got to a point that I became so obsessed that I was doing homeworks for money and I was going to the store to buy them, if I had taken care of them and probably looking at the future I would've have a minimum of 1 million dollars in ultra rare cards
First pack of Yugioh cards I ever opened had a first edition Dark Magician... from that moment, I was hooked...
I prefer the glossy printing, back when I was 11 I remember pulling my first foil, life was exciting then!

AMAZING video. IM A RECENT SUBSCRIBER and stoked. Old Yugioh the best YuGiOh ; ) I turned 32 a few days ago and used to play a lot from 2002-2005. I havent thought much about or played YuGiOh in over 15 years but with COVID... Ive been hella nostalgic and been buying (spending a lot) of $ on starter decks and structure decks of the time. ALL 1st edition. I love collectibles.
Yugioh is not as old as POKEMON or MTG so one day a new norm and boom in price for vintage sealed product will occur. Early prints and original art matter. I wanna get back my CRAB TURLTE/RELINQUISHED deck.. XD. Its a blast from the past seeing THEINEN. My cousin had an Andro Sphinx/THEINEN deck and we dueled all the time in his dinning room XD

I would have to go the glossy because because it was the first holographic type of card I got when I opened my first pack of cards when I was a kid watching videos like this just brings all the memories back. I can still remember to this day the first holographic card I got out of a pack was the magical hats my favorite card to this day.
They still sell this exact pack on a dusty old mall here in the philippines. I know because I’ve been looking at it since I was 10 years old.
I just started collecting again and all I got to say is *sniff* ahhhh smells a whole lot like nostalgia. brings me back to when I got my Red Eyes B. Dragon stolen from me at boys and girls club so I had to fight for it back 😆
Celtic guardian was on of my favorite cards I use to power up that bastard with axe of despair in a heartbeat

Hey Roman. First off, health and blessings to you. Second, it was Ruxin34 who opened a "heavy" LOB 1st edition pack. It ended up having 10 cards in it. Lastly, I prefer the glossy cards over the wavy ones.
