Jedd is a mate of mine and one of the best soles on the planet! I love this song! Just a little push and air time, hoping this goes for a #1, it sure does deserve it!! All the best Brother! Peace --gary
Amen to that. But you have to admit, having these guys so down-to-earth, approachable and humble ain't half bad, either. The song was on Jedd's second album, produced by Uncle Larry, but never released back in 2007. Sarah Buxton, collaborator, and ex-wife of Tom, sang on it, and actually released it on her solo album in 2010. To your point, great songs are kicked aside for less-than-great songs sometimes. Like Buk says, "Music is so much better now..."
@@gregmock6808 I'm sure any songwriter would take that as a huge compliment. Maybe someday songwriters will be compared to Jedd, and it will be a Hughes compliment.
@@emilychanfanHi, No top hat I'm afraid on the Wednesday we were on the left side of the stage, I had my camera and got some really good shots, from the angle of your vid I would reckon you were just right of centre stage front if not second line. great night out well worth the trip.
@brianm.9062 Yessir, we sat at the front table on the right of the stage both nights. I had the Partridge Family shirt. Great to see some of the friends we met in August again, as well as meet many more.
@@emilychanfan actually I remember, I was chatting to Guthrie and I saw your black shirt with the mother and smaller partridges behind I had one hell of a smile as I thought 'I wonder who else gets it' I loved the partridge family, I was going to tell you brilliant shirt, but missed the chance, so I shall take the opportunity now, 'Brilliant shirt' one of my greatest memories of being a kid.
@brianm.9062 Oh yes, one of my biggest childhood inspirations and a contributing factor to my lifelong guitar addiction. The Wrecking Crew were phenomenal on those records, as well as every other 60's session.

@@gtr1952 Jedd is a special talent and a special person.
It's definitely his turn.
Fantastic. They all play for the song, not to feed their egos. Jedd is a gifted singer and songwriter. Love it.
@alfgwahigain5544 There's more gift on than stage than in Santa's workshop.
🎅🎁🤘
I just came across Jedd by chance, and I am very impressed. Now, to look at his albums and purchase one. Thanks Jedd, great song and sound.
@mikeandress6463 He's got three to choose from, and they're all very different, and great.
If you need a recommendation, start with West.
@@emilychanfan Thank you, will do
If the big-shots in the Country Music Industry had any brains at all, they would make this song HUGE!

@@emilychanfan This video was my first exposure to Jedd. His guitar playing is out of this world! ua-cam.com/video/o-TGMQFAhBs/v-deo.html
@@emilychanfanthat was a trifecta of guitar solos ... a beautiful song, and like you said three humble pros. Thank you for sharing
Holy crap, i knew of Guthrie Trapp, & love me some Bukovak, but Jedd Hughes makes me cry. This was incredible.❤
He is amazingly gifted.
@emilychanfan no doubt 🌙
Love this tune & Jedd Hughes... Thanks for posting.
@@worthmoremusic You're welcome, and so do I.
Jedd"s acoustic songs sound really like something James Taylor would write. Great stuff!

This is “Melissa” like quality! Yep! My grandkids will dig it and I hope try to play it! Hope they do!
I hope they do, too!
It's important the next generations experience musicianship at a higher level than is currently popular.
Go get 'em on board!!!
There was a great version of this number at the bitter end in nyc that featured keyboards
There's a great version every time Jedd plays it.
I've seen it so many times, and he never disappoints.
This is good :)
@SamHollidayV A man of few words, and straight to the point, Sam.
Yes. Yes indeed.
we came over from the UK just to see this gig (Wednesday) and we were not disappointed, it was soooooooooooooooooooooooo good. thanks for posting.
Were you the guy in the Top Hat?
We came from Northern California to see these guys in August and November!!!
Worth it, huh?

Well, you just cannot serve it up any better than that.
The group served it up mighty tasty all night, and what a treat it was!
