- Elliott J. Gorn delves more fully than anyone has into how and why the story of Emmett Till still resonates and always will. This program was recorded by Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV).
Mr. Gorn you did an excellent work in delivering all the facts and sentiments of the times, proving to me one don't have be black to tell the story and that we are all connected by our humanity.......power to the people
Justice wasn't done for you Emmett but in the next life you'll get justice.
good luck with that one
Amen
As long as there's a God those men and that lying witch will see karma
Are those jurors still alive? I imagine they're feeling that guilt today.
The two men (Roy Bryant and J.W. Milam) who actually killed Emmett are sadly no longer alive (I say sadly as in it’s sad for Emmett’s case and his lack of justice) but since it’s believed up to 12 people have been involved as of 2004 when that new light came out at least 5 of those 12 people are believed to be alive(of course now in 2021 it’s possible they’re not)
@@Imactuallynothere Here are the men who were witnessed involved in the lynching. None are alive today:
Roy Bryant, JW Milam, Henry Lee Loggins, Levi “Too Tight” Collins, Otha (Oso) Johnson, Jr., Elmer Otis Kimbrell, Melvin Louis Campbell, Johnny B. Washington, Leslie F. Milam, Willie Hubbard, Hubert Clark
