Canadian French and actual French is like expecting an American or a Brit to understand an Australian going full slang.

I agree to this sentiment except the Brit/Australian thing. British and Australian has tons of crossover when it comes to slang etymology. It's also why so many times, when Americans try to imitate a Australian or British person, they'll unintentionally mix and match slang phrases or stereotyped phrases interchangeably.

I understand most of a conversation in Spanish, but have trouble forming sentences myself and in my mind everything automatically goes to English. Even though I kept my accent on some words and have trouble pronouncing some as well. I get tongue tied very easily and it leads to stuttering.

Half the people that even participated in r/place created their account the same day, and have this automated name. French streamers had a script (that only put a picture over the r/place canvas), which is not a bot, that was shared with the viewers so they could see where to put pixels and help the project. It did not place them automatically, it only was an overlay, or a guide for the community. Even with English and Spanish and Others against France, France still managed to keep their flag in almost perfect condition until the last minute. Everyone is a winner in r/place, even the Spanish.
