Both my brothers and my sister only have little boys so my dollhouses are pretty much left alone so far, at least the female dolls... ha ha They seem to be more interested in my old Lego and meccano collections. (i am not really collect Lego, but i had a lot of it from whan i was a little kid my self long time ago...). :-)

You STRIPPED everything off of it..!??? Seriously??? Damn. The furnishings, textiles, metal bits and fixings are lovely, though. Very, very nice detail. Concerned that entire household seems to be "mean to Ophelia".. okay. Maybe you could have Freud be a family friend or something, and do an intervention of some kind? Few years ago, for renovation purposes, I'd done computer rendering of my home. Have been thinking ever since about using all those measurments to build myself a dollhouse version. Could nevet settle on scale: 1:12 seems soooo big, but most available dollhouse accessories, dolls, tutorials, etc. seem to be geared towards that size. Did manila folder mockup in 1:48 and loved it.. but I like idea of working windows & whatnot, so may not be practicle. Anyway, thanks so much for your inspiring videos; yours is one of the more detailed and creative I've seen so far.
I did 🤗but what I took away was not true to the original house ,the brick paper was modern and the the layers of paint all put on at different periods of time .I must admit I was a little to hard on the windows but it’s hard to control how much paint comes off . It’s good tho to see other peoples perspective so thank you . Thanks it’s been a slow process 🫶🏻 Ophelia nanny is very strict I know but in Victorian times children were seen and not heard !!but I will have a word in hear porcelain ear 😂😂 That sounds like a very interesting project and a lot of work ,I think you can buy working sash window and most of the 30s and 40s doll house windows open . Everything is just delightful. Also--I had a goldfish when I was in college named Tarquin. I had forgotten all about him until you said the name of the young pianist! So thank you for reviving the memory of my fishy friend. I had several just beautiful gold fish when I was in college--but the ungrateful things all died immediately. Finally, I picked out Tarquin. He was the UGLIEST fish in the tank! But that fat, ugly fishy lived for about ten years! And I loved him very much. He was beautiful to me.

I loved it all such a beautiful house. The fire place in the bedroom again I thought it was original. You could use polymer to fix your chubby kitty. It's very grand! Or on its way. The thing I love the most is the little mouse hiding behind the broom. The animals bring life to the house. I would have lots of cats, and dogs...and mice! The house looks like a brownstone in New York to me. So, I would have left the brick on it.
Yes I agree I l❤️the animals that preside in doll houses and thanks it is getting there .I googled ibrownstone yes I can see where you are coming from there are similar styles in uk too but this was the original paint and the paper was only 30 - 40 years old .it all just down to personal taste I love the subtle colours personally.🤗🥰🫶🏻💞

don't strip the paint you will devalue it completely, leave the drips, once stripped any future buyers won't want it
I have left the paint drips in the middle section ,I know where you’re coming from but I have no intention of ever selling it .😁💗♥️💙🧡🩵

Thanks ,it is a great lump of a house 😂so much could be done I am really looking forward to tackling the stairs,at the moment they are in a sad state but imagine grand pictures pieces of furniture on the landings ,clocks , guests and servants coming and going it s will be magical ,well one day😆😆. I did try but maybe it’s time to have another go at getting a key made xx💞🫶🏻

Thanks ,Beaumaris is mainly where I got my little finds from ,a antique shop near jolly’s coffee shop for brass table and a charity shop round the corner ,I love Anglesey as we spent many holidays there (late 60s70s) in my parents tourer ,so many fond memories 🥰😍🫶🏻.thanks for watching I hope you enjoy 😀❤️
