Hi, I like your pro's and con's vid here on the different cervelo models. I wanted to check your website for my question but cannot access from the EU. So here's my question. i'm looking for a new bike and really like the looks of the S3. I'm living in the netherlands with flat terrain and I sometimes ride in the Amstel Gold race area plus 1 week in the ALPS per year. is the S3 then still the bike for me? I like climbing but it's not that I do that the whole year long. As said only 2 weeks a year let's say. Advice is welcome (just don't like the R3 looks)
I live in Glasgow/Scotland and it is so rainy. I ride 1 hour at least everyday and 4 hours on Sunday. Which model do you recommend me? (Carbon or aluminium doesn't matter, I'm searching a budget friendly comparing super fancy models of Cervelo)
Great video! But what about the C3? If it’s true that most people are “riders” and gravel is in, the C3 might actually be the bike that best suits most people’s needs. And then to your point, if they need something specific, they reach for an R or S.
Andy Clark Is the Aspero performant on roads? I haven’t ridden one so I’m curious. My understanding is that the Aspero is principally a gravel bike, whereas the C3 is principally a road bike.
Paul Niemczyk yes, principally you’re correct on both fronts. But they’re different animals, and I’ve seen the definition of “most people’s needs” change a LOT in the past few years. However, from a fit and performance standpoint the Aspero is the more aggressive of the two, IMO. And because the Aspero has the 650b option it opens up a whole other world of possibilities. If I were to pick a “one bike” solution from the two, it’d be the Aspero.
Andy Clark That’s interesting. I never looked at the Aspero because I never really thought that a “gravel” bike would be my one bike solution. (I never really saw myself as an “off-road” rider so I never looked into gravel bikes, even though I like some versatility.) I’ll take a look, I’m intrigued now.
andy clark is that because you favoured an endurance geometry? I personally love an aero but want the geometry of an endurance bike. If you dont love the bike then you wont ride it. Isint it?
My 2014 R3 is the perfect bike for me and it’s still going strong 😊
What do you think about the new series Caledonia ? Where does this type fit in ?

The aspero with road tires?
Hoping you do more of these in the future.
We're working on it!
What is the price of difference for a new and a one year old model ?
Andy Clark is back too?

Hi.. plz choose for me cervelo s3 or trek emonda sl6? Which prefer for climb and endurance?
Hi, I do triathlon, preparing my first full ironman. I will then re-focus on mid-distance races. Which bike do you suggest? Thanks for help
S series unless you want comfort. 2:00. Buy used and get some wheels.

I think the Aspero is a MUCH better choice than the C3. The C3 may be going away, but I'm not sure.

Love your info I'm 5ft 3 looking an endurance bike what's the cost for my size affordable 😊
R3
So the summary is: Buy both bikes
I'm afraid so...they're both sooooo good! Between us, I ended up with an R5 but it was a TOUGH decision!

@@Sam.dean.88 It's not really an endurance bike - it's a traditional race bike with clearance for 30's, which is right up my alley
You use to be a pinarello man
