The one thing I chose not go over was the in-game PD2 settings (which my face was covering on the help screen anyway) as the video was getting too long. I will do another video that focuses on this window as there are some important topics to discuss like quick cast and loot filter settings.
Would be interesting to see gameplay video as well. For example any new or modified sets, uniques, bosses, areas, quests, mechanics, runewords and so on. So far we saw just crafting and corrupting. So video could answer question: how much of original Diablo 2 is left and how much is new stuff. For example is new stuff added alongside original stuff so that I am also able to get original D2 experience if I wish to or does new stuff replace original stuff completely so that I am basically playing game that is D2 in name only?
that's a great idea. I'm thinking I could just load up a character on Plugy and go page-by-page and discuss each item/runeword/etc. It has everything that exists in the game basically in the stash
@@varyktv Sounds good. Maybe not everything - just those that are different from original are enough - unless this mod is so different that that what was considered a well equipped character according to battle net standards keep dying even in act 1 - then of course it would be useful to mention that. And most importantly, don't forget to demo items, because item list itself I can find from website and read the stats but without seeing how it works on monsters I have no idea what to think of it. And maybe also discuss mf runs - what is different, how long does it take to get good gear. And maybe also talk about leveling - for example is level 99 still 3 months grind or do you have some large dungeons with a lot of level 110 monsters that give both exp and items very well. And maybe also talk about game balance - for example is it only playable for hammerdin and light sorc with infinity like D2 LOD or is cold sorc src still useless in hell due to monster immunities or have those been re-balanced somehow. And finally in case you played around with OBS studio settings record short 10 sec clip and watch it from your computer full screen to see if everything is clear because otherwise you tell how much work graphics artists have done but from video it's not clear at all.
Does your output video settings match your actual screen resolution? It seems like your video is 1080p but your actual screen resolution is more than that. And that seems to be bad for video quality. You could make your OBS base and output resolutions match your monitor resolution and quality at least Indistinguishable and see if that improves the quality. Like you said it looks sharper and cleaner and I was like what am I supposed to see. If you don't like to wast your disk space you can always delete the originals after upload.
it no longer works that way; they've built the additional settings into the normal d2 setting, so just hit "esc" and look around, you can also hit "h" to get some additional info
For somebody who just got back into D2R, and now discovering PD2, your tutorial was very helpful.

Are there any differences with hell immunities for us to be aware of when League starting in PD2 for the first time?
Nope! As far as LOD content goes, everything that has to do with traversing hell and immunities should be the same.

Oh very interesting, I'll look into this. Thank you!
How do I get that settings button at the bottom of your in game screen?
it no longer works that way; they've built the additional settings into the normal d2 setting, so just hit "esc" and look around, you can also hit "h" to get some additional info
