Never knew how cool and hard this was until I realized that they're using mostly left hand drive vehicles on the left hand side of the road. True ingenuity at work. Always love and respect the land of my birth.
None functioning gauges, no chains on equipment(massive D10), no oversize stickers or lights, truck and trailer maxed out, yet he seemed to make it there just fine...
Old School. This was what america was before all this high tech crap that brakes, cant be fixed without dealer software and cost a fortune......Progress
When I started in the early 70's I hauled concrete block with no straps or anything,, Running old trucks from the 60's there were gauges & other stuff that didn't work. Then they figured how much money they could make fining us. It's like old trucking the way it use to be.
Just so ya know, I was joking. It just goes to show you dont need 4 chains. I work as a heavy tech and if the machine is going down the road its 2 chains and sometimes none.
Trucking Jamaicans 100 percent true, a lot of companies here in the stateside still like to run old trucks less of a headache than the new ones apparently. Personally I like em better, they just look and sound better. I’ll take a 379 Pete with a 3406B any day or an R Model Mack
rite now slippaz a one the best truck driver i see on youtude the man shift truck gears them like a pro the man porn to drive....next man jey as well....jamaice have some a the best truck driver around the world....slippaz push that truck to the limit a years him a drive that truck suh and it still up and runing....sliplaz u a star i see someone comment and ask wat the hell u doing...look like him most bline....him cant see u a drive the the way it bell to drive...a special truck with special driver good team
You might have misunderstood my question. I am not referring to the daily before work inspection done by the driver, I am referring to an annual inspection carried out by a duly authorised government approved inspection centre. Just curious that's all . . .
I see. This brings back my Caribbean days, I was not truck driver but worked with the Public Works Department so was always in a truck going along for the ride. Been up many a steep gradient prepared to bail out if 1st gear was just not good enough to make it to the top . . .
You must live under a rock or in a cave. LoL. Jamaica is about the size of Conneticut there are a lot of highways, look up highway 2000, Mandela highway, North south highway, junction highway, Mackfield highway and more are being built as you read this.
Mmmmmm..... en chile eso se llama pisapedales... trabaja la caja como comiendose las horkillas y mas encima bruto entre cambios.... aki en chile no creo q le den laburo......
I love the sound of that engine, too nice to listen to.

What's the pay
If this was USA he would have needed an additional 6 axlez to carry that D10
Heavy hauling in Jamaica looks more fun
Keep up the good work
sheacole2 that's why the roads get damaged. Too much load on the axles
That's the first thing I thought of. Some states require 8 axles to haul a skid steer! (not really but not far off)
It is fun...Jamaica No Problem!!!💯🔥☝🇯🇲

A good driver would have unloaded the cat before turning around ,no regard for the equipment
David Lemarquand the truck will not go up the hill in forward gear.you have to reverse up
It mad dem fi just spray it n rimz it up

Dustin McDonald its a 3406b bro, I know this truck myself
If you know this engine then why doesn’t it sound like a B series CAT as huey pump makes a clacka clacka noise when you accelerate
Nunca avía visto una transmisión de 100 velocidades
