We really need have competition in the market. Before Intel launched their latest series and the degradation of previous series was uncovered. AMD charged 350$ for the 7800X3D. Efter the Intel news broke prices shot up to 520$. Either Intel gets its act together or we will see even faster transition to ARM/RISC-based hardware. Qualcomm was the first non-X86 of the landing boat and reception was rough, but if more players like Nvidia step in things will get more competitive in uses that don't require X86 compatability.
