She has a wonderful energy and presence and voice - true star quality in the can't take your eyes off her way. I'm interested to see how she continues to grow as an actor and singer. This song is meant to be sung by an older person, someone who's been doing this job for a long, long time (the ulcers, the back aches, etc) and while I loved her spunky energy, I would be curious to see her revisit this song once she's a little older. I don't know if it was a directorial choice to keep it young and high-energy but I'd love to see what she could do with the layers of this wonderful character.
