When you opened the agate at the 7:33 mark, I gasped. It's Lovely.. When you showed #4, it looked covered by Common Opal that had been discolored. Agate #4 at the 8:16 mark really does look like 2 outer rings of Commom Opal.. Most unusual agate I have seen..Super Cool ! !
Alex, I just loved this video! I followed Josh a while back on IG after you mentioned him before. His Malawi agates are beautiful…and so are yours! Thank you so much for this cutting video. I wonder if you’d consider doing a wee video explaining how agates are formed, how they are so different on the inside to the outside? Thanks ☺️
Thanks for posting. Try not to let the mosquitoes eat you alive! I really like the look of the Malawi agates and have some coming this week. Now to buy a trim saw, lol! Oh boy, and then probably a cabbing machine. This is going to get expensive. Isn't it? LOL!
Loved them all but my favourites were the orange flash and the last one. They were so different but each beautiful in their own way. I am new to watching your channel and I am watching from Plymouth England. I will definitely watch again.
You are doing EXACTLY what I love to do - find ugly rocks and cut them open 😂 And OH how I adore Malawi Agates, I have 2lbs of Malawi Babies I plan to livestream the cutting of and I’m definitely ordering more. Well met, fellow Angler! (Salt or freshwater? I’m mostly salt - freshwater fish are way too dang smart for me 😂)
@@AgateAngler if you ever find yourself in the NYC/Long Island area and you want to try some saltwater surf casting or pier fishing, I’m your raptor - I got enough gear to take like eight or nine people out at once 😂 “Just one more rod babe I promise, just ONE MORE…” And I definitely ordered another 5lbs of Malawi Babies last night. Gotta save up some Fun Money so I can get my hands on some of the bigger Malawis!
Agate angler!! These are spectacular! It amazes me that Agates are all over this big Blue Marble we call home!! Any plans to make something from these or just keeping them halved? Keep these videos coming!! #mosquitos #thermacell!!
You shld completely slab out the "Malawi Flame"; THAT'S a winner right there, be it for sale/gifts/ or giveaways. It wld also be v interesting if you cld somehow contrive to cut the same agate thru the centre along all 3 axes, to compare the patterns.
Happy 4th of July 🎉. Liked #7 as well but I'm going to suggest something different. I believe you would've gotten an even bigger flame if you'd cut it through the other orientation. Just my second guessing 😊. Got several Alamajo agates I'm looking forward to cutting myself.
I’m a New Subscriber…. I saw the 2 year old Yellowstone River video and subscribed 😊those were all beautiful!!! I think 3 and 7 were my favorites… Off topic but about those mosquitoes…. You may want to up your game with long pants or strong mosquito spray of some kind. Just watched a video on the weather channel app that Massachusetts has a town with a curfew because the mosquitoes are carrying EEE🦠 (Equine something) it causes brain swelling and there is no treatment or vaccine. Doesn’t mean they’ll carry other farther west but just thought I’d mention it in case you haven’t heard. I hate wearing off but I’d rather take a quick shower before bed than get bitten by something dangerous. They said mosquitoes are most active at dusk which I didn’t know. Anyway, love your videos! I’m amazed at the amount of work that goes into finding those Malawi agates!!! So worth it though! ☮️💟
Welcome! Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed. Thankfully In Montana our mosquitoes don’t carry much disease, but it’s always good to be careful!
Finished Agate Specimens in general tend to have very high prices. Josh sells very high end stuff and so... yes, prices are high. There is a whole market of high end agate collecting out there.
With Agate #6, if you take the half in your left hand with the oval bullseye and cut it at a slightly different plane (not too far off parallel) you might miss the cracks and still bet the bullseye. Possibly the same for the half in your right hand. Just a suggestion.
Number 7 was the clear winner, but I really liked the last one, too!
Amazing Agates!!! They are beautiful. Thank you for sharing them !
Great fun thank you! All great but no 7 was very special, look forward to seeing more
Number 7 with the orange flame on blue background was my favorite. The colors just grabbed my attention. Awesome rocks. Thanks for sharing!
I think I'm with you on #7. Thanks for watching.
The blue and orange/red is epic!! Malawis are so amazing and fun!
omg that blue and flame is spectacular
Ohhh Wowww!!! I think I fainted when you opened up Agate #7… o-
The cuts are all so beautiful 🤩 No not a dud. It’s very pretty. Favorite is candle flame. The last one looks like an ocean scene.
Oh I love the one second one I think it was. Oh so beautiful. Oh I love the colors. The water lines. Oh just beautiful.❤❤❤
7 my favourite, followed by 4, then 3. Great rocks!!
Enjoying the video. 👍
Love them all can’t wait for them polished
I love the blue with the orange but my absolute favourite is the first white one you cut. So amazingly beautiful
That last one looks like a satellite image of a lake and swamp area..
Number 7 was a stunner!
3 and 7, the last one was also great!
I love the Agate Bay channel and often drool over the agates on his website. When I win lotto I’m gonna buy up his stock 😂
I love the last one, it looked like a lake and a shoreline and little island 😃
Great cuts! That flame one!!
awesome agates. malawi are the best! i cant wait until mine arrive.
Blue and orange was amazing
Wow. Love the flame looking one. They're all beautiful in their own way! Thanks for the video.
Pretty amazing material indeed! Thanks for watching and commenting
The last one almost looked like an underwater scene!
I can totally see it!
Agate number 7 is the clear winner! 🔥
I think so too!
Yes, I love Malawi Agats, I have bought one, cut and polished, very nice
All have their own beauty but I really liked 7 the most but also liked 2, 3, 4 & 5 Thanks for sharing!
Love Malawi agates. The blue and orange/red was my favorite.
❤ Vicariously delightful. #7 was truly amazing plus the first few that were white. Great video!
Good choices! Thanks for watching!
So pretty? Love the white ones!

Awesome!!!!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️
Does AgateBay sell rough agates or nodules? All I could see were (beautiful) finished or polished stones.
I liked 7, 4, & 3. They are beautiful !
My favorite one was the one with the bright orange in the middle! Pretty cool agates! Thanks for sharing!
Number seven with the orangish center is my favorite.
Fun video. Your videos rare always so relaxing for me.
I'm so glad you find them relaxing. We all need that from time to time these days..... haha
Love your video cutting these!!
You did a fantastic job! 😊😊

Thank you 👏 😊
#3 and #7. But, they are all beautiful!
I think the third one was my favorite. You should get a little fan for your garage to keep the skeeters off you
7 was somethin'...but l gotta go with 5 🤯 congrats on al the followers Alex, pretty cool👏👊
Gorgeous!!!
Aren't they amazing!

(Salt or freshwater? I’m mostly salt - freshwater fish are way too dang smart for me 😂)
Well met indeed! I am a freshwater angler (trout only) from Montana. And yes, I have another 8 or 9 lbs left in the garage to cut.

شماره 6 یک عقیق خوشرنگ و فوق العاده با کیفیت است👌👌❤❤👍👍
Me and the wife’s exclamation scared the cat when you revealed #7. Prettiest agate we’ve ever seen.
Oh that's too funny!
Nice Malawi agates!!!
Wow! Agate #3 was my favorite, then agate #4, then #7. Amazing!
Watch out for those bitting agates! 😂
Good choices..... yes that was a slip of the tongue haha!
Those are so pretty, thank you for letting us tag along!!! Hope you have a wonderful 4th
Thank YOU for coming along. Happy 4th!
I wonder if you made/make thin slices of the white #5 if there would be translucently with a light source, flashlight or sunlight, behind?
Your #8 Malawi, cut stone/ left piece, looks like an underwater scene.
Nice selection of the Malawi stones. Thanks for sharing all the cuts.
Agate angler!! These are spectacular! It amazes me that Agates are all over this big Blue Marble we call home!! Any plans to make something from these or just keeping them halved? Keep these videos coming!!
#mosquitos #thermacell!!
I am planning to polish some of them, perhaps list a few to sell. Thanks for watching.
Great content! One thing that can keep mosquitoes at bay is a fan on high, blowing directly at your workspace. Keep up the good work.✌️👍🇺🇸
Good idea....need more outlets haha!
Looking good there.
INDEED! Thanks for watching!
Nice to see the source. Thank you.
It is really interesting just to see the environment they come from.
The one reminds me of a fire and ice blade beautiful Rock
7 would have to be my favorite with the flame. Followed by 3.

Wow ! So nice ❤
Glad you like it!
I like the 3dr one 💎
That was pretty epic. 3 & 7 are my favorites....
Really beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice peices
Happy 4th of July 🎉.

Your friend Josh's agate prices are insane.
Finished Agate Specimens in general tend to have very high prices. Josh sells very high end stuff and so... yes, prices are high. There is a whole market of high end agate collecting out there.
Did you make thin slices of both #1 & #2? Wonder what they would look like with a light source behind?
When are you doing your 35K subscribers give away?
The way you held #1 made it look like a frog with bulging eyes and a big mouth!
For the mosquitoes, splash vinegar on your arms and legs to disguise your scent...
With Agate #6, if you take the half in your left hand with the oval bullseye and cut it at a slightly different plane (not too far off parallel) you might miss the cracks and still bet the bullseye. Possibly the same for the half in your right hand. Just a suggestion.
I've been thinking about giving it a slight adjustment. Good ideas, thank you!
🤔 بنظره من بهترین و زیباترین سنگهای توپی یا تخم مرغی که برای برش با دستگاه فرز سنگ مناسبن سنگهای بوتسوانایی هستند 👌👌❤❤
I hate when I get eaten by agates!! 😂
Valla rollo, con un minuto valia
Why don't you use Mosquito Repellant???????
wow, need some of those !!!!!
Go check out the Gem Shop to buy them raw.
