This big beautiful grungy Vintage style junk journal was definitely inspired by my grandmother Ester..Ester passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 106🥰🤗 I can remember seeing her sitting at her kitchen table with a huge book (journal) it looked like it was just falling apart it was so old. If I would have known then that making journals was going to be a part of future I would have begged my mother to keep it. 😔 So many memories. From beginning to end this big girl has her all over it. I really hope you enjoy this flip through ❤

Oh wow I would have loved to see Ester's book! I had a similar thing with a scrapbook my mother kept. I remember it well as a child. Once in a while she would let me look through it. It was falling apart. Photo corner holders were unsticking, scotch tape was yellowed and falling off. It was full of newspaper clippings and old photos of her family and little memorabilia of pretty papery things she had collected as a young girl. I don't know what ever happened to it. It wasn't in her things when I packed up her home. BTW -- I love your artistic style. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work. ~~Catherine
Yes ❤ I have tons of old photo albums that are the same falling apart tape yellow 💛 🤗 I have to find them they are buried in the attic. I will get them out properly when we move. The memories are wonderful ❤ my mother as well. She was a semester 😍 but my grandmother 👵 wow all the beautiful things she had. I don't till this day understand how my mother got rid of all her things😔 if only I new then. That making journals and collecting antiques was going to be such a big part of Mt life I would have kept everything that she had. Of my gosh her laces and fabrics😍 it's almost to hard to think about. Thank goodness I have my memories 🥰 thank you so much for sharing Catherine 🤗
