    The visual presentation reminds me of the old days when miniatures were more common place and how far we've come in the detail compared to the old days makes me sad that it's a dying art and not used more, I feel in the right hands someone could do wonders with it

    • @MERLK2
      @MERLK2 3 роки тому +1

      honest question, you say miniatures were more commonplace. How do you mean this? As in the hobby seems publicly in decline? That its more of a niche hobby? Or miniatures for museums or special effekts ect?
      I mean yeah the times of 1-2$ Revell modelkits in the 60-70 are over as is their role as mere toys, the big boom of UK wargaming miniatures of the 80s too ... but nowadays there are so many offers for miniatures in categories like fantasy & mythology, wargaming, Tabletop RPGs ect that im a bit puzzled by that statement :D

    • @myyetionfire
      @myyetionfire 3 роки тому +1

      @@MERLK2 in terms of being used more or less for special effects, as a hobby alone yes the plethora of fantasy creatures and machines have made it more popular than ever before, but fewer films and tv shows use models and minis and it's kinda disappointing, especially given the types of rigging for filming minis they have now, Kubo and the two strings and other stop motion films show the basics and if you combined good minis and touch it up with CGI I'm sure you could make spectacular things. And yes I understand that it's a lot of work and money to do something like that, but then again what good is a 200+million dollar budget if you don't have fun with it

    Hey brotha. I worked in web development for almost a decade and one thing I specialized in was SEO (search engine optimization). I noticed a few things that could help push your vid rankings up.
    1. Description. 500words no less, more the better. Write a summary of your video. Use keywords Gundam, gunpla and abbreviations of words. Make it natural. Don't stuff keywords. Link to wikipedia. Built a Barbatos? Link to the Wikipedia of the Iron Blood whatever the series is called.
    2. Title. Example: Exia Gunpla build Perfect grade, I shit myself.
    Keywords and make it catchy.
    3. Playlist / About sections.
    Make playlists and write out a description of that playlist. In that playlist add other major Gundam or gunpla videos. YT algorithm likes this. It shows that your videos are similar to major videos getting 100k views and the same type of topic.
    4. Any where you can put in information about your channel, about section, description areas do it and use keywords, but again don't spam these.
    5. Advance. Transcribe your video for closed captioning. Easier now to do than 5 years ago. Check out videos on it.
    6. Advance but worth it. Make a Google Site webpage (free) using your Brand name. Embed your videos, take your 500 word description and make a post. Best to change it up some, just a little.
    7. Watch SEO videos on YT and Google. Learn more and implement.
    I cannot express you how much, just what I've mentioned here will do for your channel in 6 weeks or less.
    Last tip.
    Entity/Brand Building. Puts itsagunpla brand name on every social media site you can. Search for Web 2.0 sites and register your Brand out there. Takes time and work but worth it again. You don't need to update these sites. But if you ever get into the more advance advance SEO stuffz it can all be automated. Example: post a YT video, a post will be made across a large portion of these web 2.0 sites on auto.
    Love you channels. GL
