@ 1:48. Oh god, the times you have made me laugh with the way you explain situations that come up with the dogs. I've really enjoyed watching your videos over the last few weeks. Have to add, you have an accent on the english language that is very easy on the ears!
They do ''Hurt eyes'' very well. If you take a ''Forbidden'' toy from them, or tell them off for anything, even in the mildest, softest way, they can ''Sulk'' and bury their heads in a sofa cushion, or give you the ''Stink Eye''.
My whippet boy, Bean, definitely displays traits of *drama*. If he gets a claw stuck in his collar or a sticky treat stuck in his teeth he will scream like a banshee. When he plays with his cousin (my brother's pitbull lab mix, Bella) he makes makes this crazy cat-like demon growling sound the entire time. It's a sound to behold for sure. He is very much a mama's boy and loves laying in in my lap between my legs but if I'm not quick about making room for him, he will paw at me until I do. Those are just a few of his eccentricities but honestly I wouldn't have him any other way! I love him just the way he is. ❤
Another classic vid revealing the secrets of the whippet! My two whips exhibit many of the traits you've highlighted, especially my girl Hannah who whines for attention, affection and the need to be under a blanket at all possible times. lol
Speaking of drama, my boy is "limping" when going out under the rain, but as soon he does his business, he walks normally and naturally back home!! I got many bad looks from people like "how can you be so rude to that poor dog", when explain and move towards home and they see the dogs is going forwards happy and well, they understand that is not me but my award-winning Sir.
Mine can squeal at the sight of the nail clippers….oh that whippet whine and the ‘resigned collapse’ they do..sounds like they are letting the air out of their body! 😂🤣🤣
Oh my this video explains so much!! Our whippet is constantly crying like really high pitched and pathetic and I got so worried at first but then I realised he cries a lot for all kinds of things. I feel he's learned as well that crying gets him attention so I have to work on that ..
I totally agree with you about sighthounds. I worked in veterinary clinics and owned and fostered greyhounds. I have personally also owned herding breeds and a coonhound. Sight hounds are totally ridiculously dramatic! My greyhounds would literally stub their toe running in the yard, hold up their paw and SCREAM until I came and looked and said it was fine. Hilarious. Balloons are scary, mice are scary, and one of my greyhounds would not go NEAR baby chicks (he weighed 80 pounds).
My older whippet Dallas (1 year 2 months) always goes down the stairs on my left side and refuses to sit anywhere in the car except on the driver’s lap. We tried buckling him in the back with his harness but he gets so distressed that we usually just give up and accept that he could kill us at any moment if he moves the steering wheel too much.
Super entertaining..had me laughing and thinking about my boy Winx and his little drama ways... but I'm sure you feel the same would not want them any different..xxxxxxx
My best friend dog is a very histerical dog. She attacked last night a 7yrs old kid in a halloween party where we where surprised about that! And that dog is very dominant and treats humans like any other dog, you cant turn your back on her or she will attack you.😢

Oh yes! Those whippets are such great actors and comedians. 😁

Haha! Yes!..the FLOPPP and sighhhhhhh.
That look. "You've never liked whippets".
I never realised whippets could be drama queens, I'm on my first whippet and he's so easy to live with.
They get grumpy with age lol
Very informative and you certainly got all the whippets I have had and still have, super sensitive and stroppy, but cuddly and intelligent 👏👏👏❤️
They can be so funny with their mood swings 🙈

Lacy is a whole mood!

Glad you enjoyed 💗
Ah, the micro-whine, I know it well
Yet, that micro-whine holds so much power 🤣

My friend's Whippet is like that...Just don't touch the gear stick, Iris
Sounds so familiar lol 😆 I have 3 boys and my middle one Oliver is seriously dramatic over everything and a kiss mends all!
That seems to be the point - more love and attention 😅
This is so true 🤣
I guess you can relate now with Frankie 🤭
@@ShowPaws Definitely whippets or so funny and if course DRAMATIC
Super entertaining..had me laughing and thinking about my boy Winx and his little drama ways... but I'm sure you feel the same would not want them any different..xxxxxxx
I wouldn't want them to behave any other way. There is so much charm in their sensitive nature 💞
My whippet puppy will have tantrums for no reason, if I am doing something (like making food for him) he will start whining
That's one typical whippet 🤣
Ain't that the truth. Drama merchants every one.
And they know exactly when to turn the "drama button" on 😅
Whippets are Emos haha
