Seeing avenger chuck dance infront of a rocker stage where chuck has his ptt vest makes me wish I was born in Rockford in the early 2000s, to see the weird mix in person
Cool to see more glimpses of this location prior to Phase 4, like the wood paneling on the salad bar and the classic Munch poster by the restrooms. Interesting that this location is not only playing Chuck E's Variety Show at a time where they should've been playing the holiday show (unless this was anytime between the 26th and the 31st and they didn't want to listen to Christmas music anymore), but that they are playing this show when it'd been retired as the generic show for a few years by this point! But then again, I believe this location was a franchise prior to getting Phase 4 so obviously they didn't have to completely follow corporate's rules. This location was on my bucket list simply for the stage, and it was the only out of state one on there. Was so close to going to this location last year but my mother didn't want to spend nearly a quarter of a day driving (where we live, it's about two hours away) for a CEC that's out of state so we ultimately settled for La Crosse (which is about 70 mins away from where I live, and the closet I have to calling a "Local") in what ended up being the last time I went before their 2.0 (which occured around the same time as Rockford's).
I will be forever saddened that I never got a chance to see this stage in person before 2.0, especially since the Rocker Stage is my favorite CEC stage type. Thankfully there's no shortage of footage of the stage online
I really love that you uploaded this! really brought back memories! I as well have some old footage of this place. One of them is when Avenger Chuck was on this stage before it was painted! LOL!
Wow, this store use to be 10 times smaller in phase 3. The different games are in different rooms and the showroom took up half of the restaurant! Sadly when they did phase 4 remodel they made the showroom much smaller. Did the store square footage change? It’s such a big difference in the store now. Great footage thank you. Hope you post more.
Considering it was in a strip mall.... I dont see how the footages would have changed..... Likely just seems more "OPEN" since they knocked down walls and added windows to the store front
I swear I can smell this video for some reason. All the smells old Chuck E. Cheese’s. Don’t know why I can smell the video but hey, sometimes memories are triggered.
Oh my God my childhood this is my favorite Chuck E cheese because he had a red Derby hat and Duncan voiced him God bless his soul I wish I could go back in time and see this again I'd give anything I grew up this Chuck-E-Cheese I just don't like the new look they gave it in Rockford Illinois Rockford back in the year 2006 I grew up with those robots and now they're gone
I'm glad i grew up with a Rocker Stage at the Florence, KY location (that they had from 1991-2003, they eventually replaced it with a 2-Stage.) The Rocker Stage was a work of art... 🥲
Wow…this video is truly like a time capsule. I wish I could go back and experience CEC like this, amazing footage
Me too!!!!!!!!!!
God I wish I was born in this era of CEC. It feels like a different place then what CEC looks like nowadays
same
it was awesome, i was 7 in 06. chucke was still scary though.
@@Zoopop13 for me he never was
Whoever recorded this should get an award
I don't know why but I love hearing Duncann Brannan's voice coming out of Chuck in the PTT outfit, I love it. He's adorable, it's a shame he's gone.
also jasper has his PTT mask
@@HardLuckStudio yes
Now imagine it’s Jaret reddick’s for some reason
@@TheMemeMaster2011 Nah, it sounds good but with Duncan it's nicer.
Awesome footage, thanks for sharing! Always wanted to see a tour of Rockford while they still had the 90s remodel
Gives me memories when my local (Fresno) used to have phase 3 for a while until converting to a phase 5 and later 2.0

Nicely done! This stage has a very unique setup, and it's great to see the red vest on Chuck as well!
It did.... hate that its gone.... but itll live on in videos like these
@@SmittysSuperService Yep, so true.
Hey do you think you could upload Sept 2007 footage?@@SmittysSuperService
Bro the showroom entrance is magnificent
IL is my home, i was 7 in 06. my locations were not as cool as this one, but this unlocked some memories
The decorations are quite festive for a Rocker Stage!
Helen's eyes looks a little wonky though and Munch is crosseyed. LOL
Famn the only real bday party i had as a kid was here. Fuckin incredible memories. Thanks for sharing!

this gives me fever dream vibes
Chuck E. still wearing his classic PTT outfit in 2006 is crazy! I wonder when he got his Avenger outfit.
He got it at this location sometime around 2009/2010
Early 2009. They did the rennovation to phase 4 in late 2009-2010. So I have some really cursed pictures of PTT chuck with avenger clothing!
