BTW I've seen clips of Hotaru no Haka but I just can't bring myself to watch it yet. Been ages and I keep telling myself to watch it but I'm afraid I might be depressed for a month as a result.

There's another one as well with reference to WW2 I think it was Barefoot Gen or something. Read the manga a little and wanted to watch the anime. But it was too hard to look for back in the VHS days
