Baltimore street used to be the city's main street where people would gather, parades and events would happen and business occurred for centuries up until the 60s. The abandoned "office building" is actually city hall offices. I've heard stories about how people working there would go into the clubs during lunch to "eat".

First dude got some SERIOUS charisma and confidence.
This is fascinating. Love it
I actually thought that hookah sign said hooker sisters ...my eyes need sleep
Great video! I was surprised that you muted some profanities or adult words out. Has UA-cam been getting on people about that lately?
Yeah any kind of swearing they will call you out on it and the video may not be monetized. There really spoiling a lot of videos on UA-cam. I understand he had to blank out the man having a tug but. You really can't get away with anything anymore on UA-cam
This is awesome, nice vibe around town.
Enjoyed this walk around Dan there are a lot of nice people there like the tatto lady and the guy making a joke at the start. Every town has it's sketchy people but most where pretty chilled in this video.
Baltimore has more than most.
Between the Midway & Club Harem was Subway. That was there when I use to go to the Block in the 90s. Where Goldies Seafood is use to be Livingston's Pawn shop. The building beyond the parking lot across form police headquarters was another club in the 80s. 14:29 the place down the steps Google Maps 2009 puts as Flamo Lounge? For Norma Jeans it wasn't just alcohol violations it was also other stuff too.
Another great video, Dan.
Awesome tour Dan! Interesting place
rampage seems like such a charming person!
When people mention the "strip district" in Pittsburgh, this is what I used to imagine but it's just a bunch of markets
surprisingly friendly folk
Loved this Dan!
Great video was a cool area to see walking around rather then just a quick drive past like we see on the Sat streams ...Sad to see the decline of entertainment districts in most major cities now , people used to go out and have fun , now people live online lives sadly ..
The decline in Baltimore is markedly worse than most.
Great video Dan!
I'd kill for that 2 Oclock Club sign, that shit is BADASS
I really enjoy this kind of content Dan!
greetsz from holland...max....
Every major city used to have an area like this. Most have died out or cleaned up. It's kind of cool that Baltimore still has it
The abandoned "office building" is actually city hall offices. I've heard stories about how people working there would go into the clubs during lunch to "eat".
I was a chaperone on a Christian school field trip. The van driver drove through The Block. 😵💫
They talked about the block but you didn't mention anything about the penny arcade that was on Baltimore st across from the Baltimore civic center my friend long time resident.
The guy at the beginning had all of the personality.
Great On the Ground Filmaking Dan. This Reminds me of those Man on The Street Segments. This is Men On The Streets.
I hate it when I miss you guys.
dan's got the greatest laugh
Thank you mr bell, wanting to move to Baltimore to be with my son and family, showing me parts of Baltimore, love your exploration of ummmm interesting places
Poor Dil is like Dan, hold my hand please 😂 while Dan give no F’s.
Hey dan stumbled across your video and i am a big fan already. Love the organkc exploration and historical context, it would be alot of fun if you ever find yourself in NYC to do a similar video, time square had the same kind of scene before it became so corporate. Cheers!!
The 80's were fun on the Block.
It’s wild seeing Crazy Johns is still open! I remember going there in the 90s to play arcade games.
