I was in England on a sojourne and had the honor of meeting Dr. George Guest. It was such a delight when Gerald Near and I went up to the organ loft while George (he liked to be called "Uncle George") played that magnificent organ!!! May his soul forever rest in peace.
Well, shall we say ONE of the best... speaking as an ex-chorister of a rival choir. 😁😇 But this is indeed a performance of this Nunc that would be extremely hard to beat, I'll admit.
That organist is in the zone… loved this.. especially the registration at 2:34 … but also the camerawork… and of course the glorious choir

How good you are, congratulations!
Wonderful.
you'll go a very long way to hear Stanford in A sung any better than that!
Quite simply, the GREATEST choir in the world of its type!
Canterbury!

A dream of my life was to sing in this choral because for me they are the best.
A must on the feast of St.Simeon. Beautiful.🙏🏿
