    Diaz fought like he wanted to win. No goading or taunting. Threw a lot more kicks and knees than iv seen him throw in any fight. He looked incredible.

      That's because he had respect for Pettis. If he didnt he definitely would've been flipping the bird and calling him a bitch.

      Dylan Mounsey Bahah....flew over his head did it. Pat yourself on the back! Good job! He is right......and you are right. He might not 'mean' to poke someone in the eye.....but does nothing to stop it....fingers forwards swatting at hands. Intentional....hard to prove....but he could do more to avoid it. It works for him.....and happens waaaayyyy too often to be mere accident or coincidence. Most seem to avoid it.....DC does it frequently.

    • @shannond9945
      @shannond9945 5 років тому

      Ryo Sanada I agree. Maybe no 'intentional'.....but DC definitely does not change his behaviour or try not to poke people in the eyes. He walks forward hands up pawing at people's hands and faces. The thumb was also a good example of how DC drives it in to the knuckle when he gets the chance.

    I will admit it, I was wrong. Diaz shocked the shit out of me. He was in the best shape ever, and he outboxed and outgrappled Pettis...while using LEG-CHECKS! A first for him, and he hurt Pettis leg on a legcheck. And as Chael mentioned he shot a takedown and got it. So he evolved. Wow. We may be seeing a more improved Diaz in his prime, and after a 3-year lay off.

  • @PlagueDocTV

    Calling out Masvidal was the most genius move I've seen anyone do in UFC since Chael got at Anderson. Masvidal is hot shit in MMA right now, his stocks are up, Diaz just started a feud with him just like he did McGregor back in 2015.
    Let's be real, Dana White is going to do whatever McGregor wants to do and McGregor needs Diaz for his legacy more than Diaz needs McGregor because of the outcome. Diaz/McGregor 3 is going to happen because McGregor wants it, simple as that, so Nate didn't even bother with McGregor and went for a second cash cow in Masvidal. It's not about winning these fights, it's about how much they pay, and Nate got 2 huge paychecks coming up.
