I was just listening to 'Dakini', and I had to go back to my beloved Requiem In White in order to recover my Goth soul. RIW & MS's are among my VERY BEST albums overall ^··^

I feel a bit daft in asking, but I shall ask anyway. Are the vocals in reverse or do my ears deceive me?
They are indeed! And it was recorded analog on tape so it's not a digital effect.
