I watched similar Turkish serials whereby the main hero has a girlfriend he lives together with and falls in love with another.. First of all men or most of them are polygamous. It varies from country to country but, it's understandable that Islam rites command women to be subservient. Now, since young women are not officially allowed to date freely especially in Turkish provinces they literally jump to the first guy that seem more or less decent to avoid unwanted marriage. Therefore, they accept willingly the fact that the man might have another lover he sleeps with with the hope that they would be the ones who own the man's Heart. In my view point Jusuf is not a likeable person though he might look athletic and handsome. However he has no radiation whatsoever. Such a man could be attractive to a very young and inexperienced girl. However, I personally could never be attracted to a man who lives with another woman saying it's his duty to save her life and in the same time tells another girl how much he loves her. Obviously he wants both. However, both women are not willing to share him.😂😂
