@@percd I think they have good sound are a great band, but I have heard Ben live and recordings of live and he definitely can't do what he can in studio. Sound isn't the same and he can't hit those aggressive notes the same. Chester on the other hand is unreal and can even sound better live. I hate saying anything negative about Ben because they are awesome, he just needs a little help from the producers to get that sound that he can't pull off live

I always thought of three days grace as just another band until I watched this entire performance. I mean holy shit
A lot of people make the same mistake.. they are Truly one of the best rock bands. Tight musicians, one of a kind voice, great lyrics, and every single song sounds different.
And people wonder why I was emo in highschool when I grew up listening to bands like these
@@Wacharis well you just part of that "emo" era I guess. In the 90s sulky teens were "grunge" that's what that band is born out of they are alternative rock.

So glad I stumbled across this live show. It's so much more raw and edgy than the studio versions. Love the transitions between songs. These guys were definitely in their prime in 2008 - too bad how things turned out. Barry's super talented and underrated.

this one of the many three days grace songs only Adam can perform. anybody else singing is not even in the same bracket. I'm glad I got to see them perform back in 2009, still hoping for that reunion.

@@nah6353 I was surprised, I still doubt they will ever get fully back together, but the couple songs he sang it was nice not to hear matt sing them. He's good for the newer song they made with him but all the old songs it has to be Adam singing them.

This song hits me so differently I was a kid when this song came out I was like 9 or 10 with parents as drug addicts and I had this song on my PSP I would listen to it everyday kinda saved me kept me sane just like linkin park System of a Down slipknot they all helped me get thru living in a house with no water or light for some years

Yeah, although I will say Transit of Venus isn't a bad album, it's just not 3DG because most songs lack the emotion Adam put into writing and singing the big hits like the entire 1X album and self titled.
Agreed those first 3 albums were bangers everything after just hasn’t hit the same.
Three days grace will never replace him thats for sure.

As far as I'm aware, the bassist as well as Matt Walst himself lent a hand at the songs on the first album. Most of their stuff is a pretty collective as an effort. That being said 3dg hit different now that Adam is out of the picture :/
