I've had a CDP 100 for 17 yrs and it still sounds great! This one's got some cool features that mine doesn't, but mine does have MIDI in/out. With the full 88, weighted keys my piano is awesome. However, the two things that could be added to make these models much more desirable are a PITCH & MOD wheel. Otherwise, Casio makes quality instruments within this price range. Just please add the wheels!

provavelmente o som tá saindo via placa, pois os fones desses teclados de entrada da casio não são bons. mas esse piano com um fone de ouvido ou uma caixa amplificada razoável, acredito que é uma boa opção de piano de entrada.

For a budget keyboard, the sounds are surprisingly good. By any chance, does Casio package those sounds as VSTs?
Pack as VST????? Seriously? There are a lot of free piano samples that sounds so much better than this Casio like the Dore Mark S6 and F308.
No mention of the USB A connector in the back.
Leave it to Casio to make great products for a great price. Finally a great digital piano for a good price in 2023!

Hi, I do not understand the 'compact keys' Are they smaller than a real piano, please - or the same size. I hope, the compact is just the casing
The keys are 'real' piano size.
Look pretty full to me, although I think I personally have about a centimeter longer on my Clavinova.
The “dashboard” part is compact. As in the plastic area above the keys.
What is difference with CDP-S110? I heard that the sound/engine is same.

Can you combine piano and strings or a pad?
Hi, thanks for your interest! You can layer two tones on the CDP-S160, but there’s no synth pad sound on this model. The available tones are grand piano (3 types), electric piano (3 types), harpsichord, strings, and organ (2 types). To get a wider selection of tones, you might consider stepping up to the CDP-S360, which has 700 tones including a variety of synth pads:

What is the difference between CDP vs privia?
Hello, great question. There are a few different models in both lines so the exact differences would be hard to cover in one comment. In general the differences are going to come down to the variety of sounds available on each keyboard. There are also various differences in the built-in speakers and controls.

@@shuddhoshawttoroy6257 Yes - it does aim for that although for me to tell you that it’s going to sound and feel exactly like a grand piano for a fraction of the price would be a little bit disingenuous. For this price point, this is as good as any for learning piano with a realistic feel. For getting as close to the feel and sound of a grand piano, you will likely need to move up a few price points.

@@123456789tube100 Like anything else that runs on batteries, it really depends on a number of factors, including the specific batteries being used and how high you have the volume turned up on the internal speakers. With that said, Casio advertises it as running up to 13 hours on batteries.
