- South East Line Marking is a road-marking company in Melbourne, Australia. One of its line markers, Brayden, shows us how to create different markings. The team cleans the area with a pressure washer, melts thermoplastic and puts it into a machine, paints the marking using a stencil, and then sprays the area with a clear coat to prevent any damage. South East Line Marking does line markings in places such as parking lots and major roads.

How Road Signs Are Professionally Painted
In Switzerland the paint is really thick and like glued onto the asphalt. It lasts years and years. They don’t spray it but spread it with trowels.
Ttttttt
Same in usa it's a reflective gluey tape kind of thing that is raised and stays forever, no idea where this is filmed
You are right. In Switzerland and everywere else. They showed two solutions. One is using (usualy) acrylic paint. The other is the thermoplastic paint which is thicker, more expensive but last longer. Each solution has is pros and cons. The video should be corrected.
Same her in India. It's like powder when dry they heat it up to melt it and spread it using a machine. This thing lasts more than the asphalt itself.
Thermoplastic
2:01 my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
I made it 70 likes, thank you
Just pull up the tape correctly!
It satisfying to watch
It's
@MrGriff305 bruh
@MrGriff305 bruh
So cool I agree ☝️
2:01
1:45 missing that corner will bother me for the rest of my life
Whhhaaaah! That's terrible...

Not that important in the grand scheme of things Is it.
One word: SATISFYING
2:01
So satisfying
The replay button is very tempting!
Me at 2.30 AM:
"Hhh okay youtube I think it's enough for today.. Good ni-"
UA-cam algorithm: "No no no wait wait! You should see how these road signs are professionally painted!"
Me: FFFFFFfffffuuuuuu
Literally exactly the same right now but its 2:41am 😂😂🤣
Well i hope they change the usage of the plastic application. Road usage+plastic covering is gonna create so many micro-plastic into the ecosystem
I love it
Captivating, I know what I want to be when I grow up.
In my country, labourers do this painting in live traffic :)
Because here roads are blocked only for VIPs and not for safety of common man.
I can't imagine how it would look if road signs were unprofessionally painted
Gracias por mostrarnos maneras de emplear los colores y espero que siempre lleven mascarillas de protección,extinguidor de incendios y una buena ventilación siempre que sea posible!
Saludos!
Ahhhh good times! Parking lots, curbs, and more!!!
A impressive steady hand , But you do know Greco and Titan make extensions to go between the gun and tip to eliminate back strain , suggest a 3 foot extension and a swivel head.
@Honeybee army
Was just gonna say...
"So satisfying"!
LOL! AM thiae spray paths are so perfect they almost dont need a stencil.
It is so satisfying to watch! The precision is enjoyment for me 👌😃
Amazing
Almost after years of experience in working the hands of men who are painting just move like a robot with inch- inch perfection
Levels of satisfaction achieved from watching this
All levels.
Art is everywhere.
Hello sir how are you I am really happy to see your work sir I am also doing lane marking work in singapore as a supervisor for last 13 years I wish can go to Canada and doing this work thanks
Finally a art video that has to do with poking eyes, squeezing pimples, brushing teeth or face masks. Even taking earwax out
Nice to see someone taking care of all those loadings irl
hard work and yet looks like fun!
What is surprising that this 2 minute video has Producer, Story Editor, Copy Editor and someone to specially thank... I wonder why the credits list is so short!
Seems like a fun job
This was so satisfying to watch lol
The tattoo 1:43
Cool, but why aren’t they showing the ones that do it freehand? Lol. Painting WITHOUT a stencil...now that’s impressive!
Maybe because this company doesn't do it that way
I've really only seen them done with stencils, satisfying tho
Perfection satisfied watching this
Thanks yt for recommending 👍
The fact that i am here watching this video is testament to how much UA-cam I watch 😭
Nice
Why is this so satisfying? 😍
Looks easy………………….until you try it! Great to watch
You mean road markers? Road signs are posted signs, not markers on the road. That's a road marking when you apply that.
This song reminds me off our TEGRIDY in Murica
I salute to their hardwork
Most satisfying is when they remove the tapes or stencils
Always so cool to watch!🤟
Cooooool
Good sprayer
Tape and stencils, who could've ever thought of that?!
Wish they were this professional in the USA
But they are u must never been to the US ik here they don't use tape or stencils
used to do it for a living, never used tape for lines
I've worked with people that almost never use tape, and some that use it a lot. It has it's pro's/cons. Typically, people who say they never use tape, have almost exclusively worked on roads. For some of the things they're doing in the video, tape is 100% the right tool for the job. There's plenty of other things that make me raise an eyebrow, but I'm not here to throw shade.
Nice 👍 💗
Patutlah tahan sampai jalan hancur pun tanda tidak hilang gayezzzz...mantap, nexttttttttttttttttttttt
I basically just watched paint dry for 2:29
*_and enjoyed it_*
It's all about quality of product. Many countries scared to import the quality stuff and use house wall paint. BTW which countries have the best and cheapest stuff?
Awesome video
So good
Can we have “how babies are professionally made” next?
0:43 my OCD peaked at this point
You will never catch me step on those footprints at 1:14
Love the first world
I would like to do that.
Maybe I should look into doing that, looks easy as hell lol.
I want this kind of job
Am I the only one worried about the posture of those people? I mean, at the end of the day their back must be hurting.
I could do that all day. Get me a job! 😁
My OCD is happy :)
I like Kramer's
Dream job :)
Thats right, with stape
It's satisfying to watch until 02:01
Cool
*ODDLY SATISFYING*
Everyone: let’s watch this for fun
Me: S A T I S F Y I N G ✨
2:02 He tore the tape
That isn’t thermoplastic being sprayed. That’s traffic paint, which is typically water or solvent-based acrylic paint that dries rapidly.
0:39 why did he start from the middle?
What a cool job where do I sign up
This video to a graff writer is like "seriously?"
I can’t believe that this got 1.9M views and only 3K likes
I think taping it was the hardest part.
They should use Flex Seal liquid, from Flex Seal family of products
I always thought they use compasses and rulers to draw the wheelchair sign traditionally. Boy I was wrong....
Neat.
In seattle they just do rainbow crosswalks..
Satisfaction
My town must be more advanced, we carve out about 1/2 an inch of the desired lanes and symbols into the asphalt and fill it with dense rubber plastic blend thats the desired color so it doesn't need repainted
1 coat huh? Probably why they keep coming off.....put some lacquer on it🤨
I really like to know the gun and tip combination plz anyone?
Please show how they get lane stripes in the exact middle of the road.
They put them in the middle
It’s outlined with machines they just paint over the outlines
Me if I did this: **trips on nothing**
Who's the mad genius who thought of using tape?!
Imagine if he sneezes
0:57 😮
Huh never realized this was a plastic based paint. Makes sense though. Very cool to watch
توني ادري انها متعبة عندنا يفحطون عليها 🤣
Watching paint dry ... 🎨
In my country they just throw some paint on the road
Come to South Africa and see how it's done......usually nothing happens, because the workers strike. So nothing happens 🤣🤣🤣
Karen be like: U didnt paint that nanomemeter spot at the edge!!
I need to talk to your manager right now!!!!!
I want a job. Where do I apply. ?
Ive seen the road get painted ive never seen them use masking tape.
They couldn't use a shorter spray gun?
