A peaceful family car.
This one its not so peaceful anymore. Look at the cabin vibration due to stiffer suspension.
Yet it performs very very well

I believe there's a tyres resonation problem. This vibration is not normal.
Eugenio A. If it has uprated suspension is normal. Of course its even more perceived in camera if doesnt have stabilization.

All fun and games until S-tronic fails like happened to me 😬 it's lovely to drive these cars but when something expensive goes wrong you can sell the house or a kidney...
How come they add so much hp but the top speed doesn't increase that much ?
There was no top speed run in the video. Even the serial RS6 runs more than 300 km/h. The top speed is finally limited by the revs in the last gear. If the length of the last gear is shorter, the car reaches quickly ca. 300 km/h but is than near the rev limiter. If the last gear is longer, then the top speed is higher, but 300 is reached not so quickly. By the usual traffic on German Autobahns the producer set up the high performance cars gearbox for optimum performance between 250-300 km/h in the last gear, as the possibility to drive a car above 300 km/h is rare.
One other problem is aerodynamics. Very important at high speeds and in the end the RS6 is still a family station wagon :D

Pseudo yes, the s6/7 has the 7 speed s tronic while rs6/7 & s8 have the 8 speed tiptronic. All of them having the less or more same engine in different power stages.

No, the RS3, TT RS and R8 do have the S Tronic, in case of RS3 and TT RS because of their MQB, which is "modularer Querbaukasten" in german (Cars with more or less the same architecture as a Golf) and in case of the R8 because it's simply faster.

Like aPlayer Maybe fake isn't the best word to describe it. But it is an engineered noise, hope you know that.
Just watch a ferrari (f12,812 for example) or the huracan performante accelerate, you'll understand what i mean.

Lmao people attacking you for stating the truth. Yes rs6 is outdated. Its exterior still looks beautiful but its interior is extremely outdated and an update is due. Can't wait for its new version... Just don't understand why they are taking so long and what they are waiting for when it seems that they have everything ready to go judging by the new a8 and a7.
