I think it could all be metaphorical... Vengeful spirit is chained to the freddys franchise and cannot escape the living world, hence the chains wrapped around golden freddy type stuff. The submerging in water could be symbolic of the spirit giving up/accepting these metaphorical chains, and choosing to go even farther from resting in order to confront someone who is still alive/get revenge, or perhaps prevent someone else from ending up like them.
What if its the idea of golden freddy being ensarred in agony and rage, maybe the red sea is red because of the countless victims effected by williams action, and going back in represents reliving that trama bringing your friends with you to torcher william even though they want to be released and free from that pain. I always saw the blob as an interesting tie in for UCN cause it makes since as far as why are their characters in UCN missing or seemly irrlevent and whos mind are they being pulled from williams or cassidys, but i think i was thinking about it wrong, what if those animatronic parts making up the blob play into the roster form in UCN all the cursed children and their agony that little remnant left after happiest day, because something had to be left behind in order for their souls to move on i think after the souls left do to happiest day and henry the only one left was cassidy and with all that anger and rage left inside them they use that agony and the agony of their friends to "put themselves back together" as the blob and torchure william. Even in the book about the man in room 108 "or whichever room" its only 1 soul vs another instead of the conglomerate vs the one, which i personally think is a fight william could never win.
I really think Cassidy drowned in their own blood after being stuffed. It isn't shown that the Cassidy was stuffed by the puppet in the mini-game, besides appearing briefly. So, I think William stuffed them in the Fredbear suit, causing the suit to go off and pierce Cassidy's body, probably their lungs or something connected to it for the drowning stuff. Cassidy would then be really mad at William for that, and that also explains how they drowned. I think the OMC lakes and other (possibly also OMC) red lakes are connected to the drowning motif and is telling us it was in them drowning in their own blood.
I also think this could explain Puppetstuffed if you believe that. Charlie stuffed the other kids because she saw that Cassidy got stuffed and began moving.
In UCN, there's even a clip of golden freddy twitching, similar to the way springtrap twitched in the fnaf 3 trailer. Obviously the twitching is just representing her being restless, but it is interesting how she's moving in the same way as someone else who died in a springlock suit.
I actually think this makes a lot of sense- I bet you William was trying to Kidnap the kid, maybe she was the first, stuffed her in the springlock suit then went back to work to ease any suspicions- But Cassidy was crying and her tears triggered the springlocks, piercing the lungs but not outright killing her due to her childlike size, from where she just gradually drowned over the course of hours resenting the man who shoved her in the suit... And William only discovered her death at the end of the work day, long after she had passed in agonizing gasping solitude.
18:25 The novels have William claim that when you get Springlocked, your lungs get punctured and you drown in your own blood. That may be relevant - Cassidy was Springlocked in Fredbear, and drowned inside of it.
Headcanon, I'm not sure how yet, but the Sonic Adventure 2 Gameplay + soundtrack in the background is somehow a RyeToast ARG where we find out he's the voice of Shadow The Hedgehog in the new movie.
My thoughts: The Puppet, Cassie and Baby are much more alive because their deaths and suit "injection" are a lot closer in happening. In the give life events the children already look like ghost/skeletons. However, the Puppet was right after she died and Baby was right as she died. So that leaves the vengeful spirit Cassie to most likely have actually died in the suit.
This makes a lot of sense in terms of the give gifts/give life mini game, and the relative levels of awareness/sentience the various animatronics show. If we go with Cassidy = Golden Freddy = Vengeful Spirit, then dying inside Golden Freddy makes sense, with the drowning being a case of drowning in her own blood or perhaps a case of ‘dry drowning’. Based on the original newspaper clippings, Cassidy would have been one of two children simultaneously lured by William as the final two. It’s likely she is literally “the one you should not have killed” because she was never part of the plan. If William is somehow motivated by the bite of ‘83, it makes (twisted) sense that he would basically create effigies of the 4 masked bullies. Cassidy was a random plus one and William had to act fast. So likely he did something to incapacitate Cassidy so he could deal with the fourth child in a manner similar to the others. He may have gagged her to keep her quiet until he had time, or even stuffed her in the Golden Freddy costume while she was still alive, both things that could have lead to some form of asphyxiation. With the way the series likes to echo itself, we don’t see how William handled Golden Freddy when he was dismantling the others. It would be fitting if the process of taking out Golden Freddy was similarly drowning themed. Alternatively, he never actually bothered with Golden Freddy, but Cassidy driving William into the Spring Bonnie suit is the parallel instead. William dies like she did, comes back like she did, and like the first time, it is her that ruins his plan. He probably wouldn’t have been ‘caught’ on tape if not for Cassidy. His luring one child at a time seemed to be going unnoticed. [he would put a similar rule in place for Circus Baby, never deal with two kids at once]. It’s also an interesting contrast of drowning vs burning. Perhaps Cassidy’s ability to keep William alive “no matter how many times they burn us” is tied to her drowning.
I really like the idea that Cassidy was drowned, it’s a really bad and painful way to die, you feel ur lungs fill up with water before losing ur breath That could explain why she’s so vengeful, it was such a horrible horrible death to go through (not to say all weren’t horrible) but she was tortured

I don't know about you Rye but a whole circus full of still moving on fire animatronics and fursuits running around on flames sounds like a pretty traumatic experience to me
One thing that can be some supporting evidence that the sister location characters may have been around in Fall Fest is the sister location 8bit mini game. The reason I bring up the mini game is the fact that in the mini game baby is giving cupcake to kids outside. Unlike every other mini game, the sister location one is the only one that shows it’s outside (I know that FNAF 4 shows the crying child outside, but that’s beside the point). The mini game is supposed to show how Elizabeth died before the opening of circus baby’s pizza world, but why would baby be outside, unless it was done in some sort of outside event. I know this theory isn’t perfect because it may contradict the gas leak that happened at circus baby’s, but this is just some food for thought when thinking how far back the stuff from sister location could have been in the timeline.
*The Golden Freddy one is so twisted to think about. What did William put Cassidy through? I hope this isn’t a reference to her death… Somebody said that in the books Susie and Cassidy’s deaths were really brutal, which I really really hope that is a lie. But knowing our villain, probably not…* Another note: If Cassidy really is the Princess, it actually could make a lot of sense. After all, the Princess was named Cassidy in the files. Security Breach and the newer games have TONS of Ultimate Custom Night references, (which the mimic would not know about just saying) like OMC being labeled in Help Wanted2’s Princess Quest ending. There could be evidence that maybe Cassidy or the Agony of her is still left at the PizzaPlex. I also made a recent descovery that changed my perspective on this franchise- The novel trilogy (Silver Eyes, Twisted Ones, Fourth Closet all have incredible ammount of references in Security Breach, kinda off topic but worth noting)
In Fury’s rage there is a map that is a run down alley way behind it is a massive circus tent. Also in this alley we can see Scraptrap outside of the FNaF 6 location this suggests that this circus / carnival takes place after Sister Loaction and before FNaF 6.
I think cassidy was killed by being put into the golden freddy springlock suit, then thrown into some body water, activating the water sensitive springlocks, and causing her to suffer an excruciating death. Both drowned and pierced by springlocks simultaneously. It would tie both the death by water evidence and parallel her and the spirits kill william with by activating the springlocks with water.
18:27 it could simply be that she was the most brutal of all the killings, which would obviously leave a "pool of red" but another theory i've heard being used recently is the idea that she was springlocked. In the books afton describes a failure as being extremely painful and that your lungs would fill with blood as you drown in your own blood
It would be pretty cool to see an earlier Fall Fest, mostly because I think it would be great to get Steel Wool’s interpretations of the Afton kids. Fall Fest 1983 did have the Afton House in the background, so it’s likely they attended before they all died. And I mean hey, we did get a lot of hints about Cassie’s dad possibly being the Bonnie mask kid. Getting to see Michael and His Boys(tm) in 3D would be pretty cool!
Only place I can think in the restaurant where Cassidy could have been drowned is the toilet, and if I was swirlied to death, I think I would be a pretty vengeful spirit too
I wonder if he had her stuffed in golden Freddy but took her out and tossed her in a lake. Because unlike the others he wasnt "proud" of this one and didn't want to be reminded of her anymore. Later to be replaced with the crying child. That could explain how two souls got into the suit. Another fold could be that she wasn't actually fully dead and drowned chained up after being brutally beaten. So the suit doesn't have her remnant but her angony only. It probably wasn't his usually MO and might not have realized he hadn't finished her. I suspect she was beaten rather than stabbed with a knife.
Ballora is your classic stereotypical Gypsy mixed with a ballerina. You often find Gypsy-themed attractions at carnivals and cheap festivals. Why she’s a ballerina? Fazbear decided it was best to rebrand the original Ballora design to be more like a ballerina in order to not be accused of any bigotry Circus Baby is a clown. She sings, dances, whatever you need her to do as a clown should do. Even her name, “Baby”, isn’t a name you’d typically expect on anyone except some sort of clown. Funtime Freddy is meant to be a puppeteer performer with BonBon. A ventriloquist, in other words. Another thing you’d find at a carnival or festival. He has the goofy voice and the ability to alter his voice itself to do different impressions… and lure kids. Funtime Foxy is hard at first. What would be their purpose? Well we get our answer in UCN. Funtime Foxy is a sort of announcer and show runner. Just listen to their voice, they sound like an old radio host. They’d walk up on stage, say “up next is the Jaw-Dropping Act of Ballora Ballerina! Return at 5 o’clock to witness the act!”
I work in a store and in the backroom we have an industrial sink that we can use to fill mop buckets in case of spills it's in the corner of the room and on the floor there are small cement walls about 6-7 inches tall making a water tight open box on the floor with a faucet on the wall to fill it Freddie's would need to be cleaned (obviously) so they would need mops (i even think one of the members of trash and the gang is a mop) so in the back room their would be an industrial sink built into the floor it's also a well known fact that a person can drown and die in a 1/2 inch puddle if they are unlucky. some children have even died this way because they fall down and hit their head and go unconscious and fall face first into a puddle what if when William was cleaning up either from killing the missing children and/or putting their bodies into the suits or trying to remove their bodies from the suits after the police investigations are over so he can get rid of them without being caught Cassidy being a curious child went into the employees only backroom (kids often break the rules like this because their just kids and don't know better) and she found Afton cleaning up the blood on the floor by mopping and because he wasn't expecting to be caught he was unprepared and he knew she saw something incriminating in his panic drowned her in the sink built into the floor which would also tie into why Cassidy is refereed to as 'the one you should not have killed' in UCN. he never meant to kill her she wasn't one of his targets she should have been safe from him
I see a lot of people suggesting the theory that she drowned in her own blood while getting stuffed in golden freddy but I think we are lacking more evidence for that. One thing that came to my mind is Fnaf 6, in pizzeria simulator when we play fruity maze we can assume that we see how William lured Sussie, the thing is that puts the game itself fruity maze at the same time and place as the missing children's incident, so what about the other attractions? Maybe they are part of the original attractions when the incident happened, so when we are talking about Cassidy possibly being drowned, there is another attraction that involves water, the duck pond that we see in Fnaf 6, so what if her death was a lot more violent and sudden, not premeditated like the others but in a fit of rage, of extreme violence, and that left a mark on Cassidy's spirit. Just an interesting thought.
I think the drowning motif might represent that Cassidy is feeling anger, she is drowning in her rage. Red usually represents anger. Maybe this is a hint for us as we go forward that we need to combat this past rage somehow and that is the key to defeating glitchtrap. Remnant is powered by strong emotions, maybe if you provide strong emotions of a countering emotion(say compassion) that it makes the remnant weaker?
Maybe the drowning is symbolic of the transformation that trapped souls are undergoing. Evidently, the princess in princess quest isn't a specific person, the princess is an avatar that represents different trapped souls. I think when a trapped soul thinks they're strong enough to take on William, they become the new torch bearer in the fight against William to help others escape. Unfortunately, some princesses seem to have lost the fight against William. Perhaps as some princesses get stronger, they don't seem to realize that the line between them and William becomes very blurry. Sooner or later, they're fully consumed by vengeance and probably get absorbed by the blob. That is what the blob is, a collection of souls warped by wrath and consumed by agony, they don't even remember who they were. Each time we see drowning, it could be a reference to a princess having lost a battle with William, so who really knows how many trapped souls are in the blob (we can count masks and parts on it but it can be way more than whatever it visible). Maybe that's why the blob tries to attack/absorb gregory en route to the Afton ending of Security Breach when he's not hidden within Glamrock Freddy. The blob's purpose is to absorb princesses consumed by their vengeance. That begs the question, even though the Security Breach William ending isn't canon, does gregory harbor a vengeful soul? Is that why he led Cassie to the PizzaPlex in Ruin? Gregory is the wizard's apprentice after all.
Hi rye , love your videos ❤ About the fire at the carnival i just wanted to add that irl animatronics often accidentally caught fire (anyways i saw a lot of videos about that on youtube) and in this mini game your trapped in a room with a lot of highly flammable objects and you fight 3 animatronics from what i understand 😅😅 idk 🤷♂️ just an idea .. not very satisfying tho .. anyway keep it up and long life to you and your cats ❤❤
Random thoughts that won’t lead anywhere but just want to get out there. And yes I know they’re crazy. -Cassidy could’ve been lured away and drowned in a forest, near a campsite. -if there’s any connection to Drowning and Cassidy. How would William drown her in a bathtub? (If the story is taken literally to her). Probably with him adopting her for experiments or whatnot etc, something happened idk, and then playing the grieving father card cause people outside don’t know any better.
This might be a stretch but I may have a reason on why Cassidy is associated with drowning. In the Silver Eyes novels it is said that when spring locked you drown in your own blood, so maybe William instead of killing and stuffing Cassidy in a suit instead just spring locked her alive. This could also be why the water that is associated with Cassidy is always red, because it’s blood.
Anyone consider maybe he put Cassidy in golden Freddy and then submerged with the intention that Freddy would untangle himself and escape but the spring locks go off in the water and her blood turned the water red so while fearing being in freddy and fearing drowning she ends up springlocked? And maybe the ruckus from the blood leads to a panic that causes the fire?
If toy chica’s Highschool years tell us what William did to get the children, and the last one he just hits them on the head with a shovel and drag them into their car boot, could there have been something in there that made her drown? Or a puddle of blood from being hid in the head with a shovel?

I have to think on it more, really was just throwing out a sudden thought from during the premier, but golden Freddy isnt a part of give life. They show up themselves. That does bring up the question of how golden Freddy though, but something to think on.
The chains, drowning, an escape water tank and escape room. That's Saw trap stuff. And there was the weird Saw trap mask in the movie. I haven't read them, but I've heard that the Pizzaplex books can be shockingly violent. I'd say that FNaF is moving in a more graphic and violent direction, but I can't imagine why they'd do that. They make a lot of money walking the horror for kids line.

2 things, 1: i do like how respectful they are in the games with the kids deaths (i think they got a lil more graphic in the pizzaplex books but i haven’t read them this is just what MattPatt said one time) cuz it would be so easy to use it for horror or shock factor and 2: “how would Afton drown a kid in Freddy’s?” Do y’all remember the non-canon fazbear frights book about the shark animatronic? If Ballora was created to represent Afton's wife, it actually makes more sense that she remained unaltered, despite being the Fall Festival having a theme. If I made a character to emotionally represent someone special to me, it would feel ridiculous to play dress up cause you wanna remember them as they were. And when that's a partner, you already think they're perfect as they are. Just food for thought!
They need to release a "De-Make" of VR and AR for normal console and PC. Use the engine from Security breach for the AR segments [as in you control not Gregory/Cassie in generic, or randomly generated maps, maybe with unlockable arenas that emulate the various FNaF locations, like Fazbear's Fright, Fredbear's Family Diner, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, New Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, the Afton gas house, Circus Baby's Pizza World, Chica's Party World, and random book locations. You kust play the games without the VR/AR gimmicks. the FNaF recreations from HW would literally just be the OG games with the animations and voice lines from HW and AR, with a special free-run VS mode as described above. The various locales from the Pizza Plex [Monty Golf, Atrium, Roxy Racers, Bonnie Bowl, El Chips etc] from both book and the SB +Ruin could be self-contained maps.
I love that theory! I think it would be an important plot point because it's Golden Freddy. Golden Freddy is important to the lore, but at the same time, we still don't know much about him.(Also, a Golden Freddy backstory game would be nice).

I think the golden freddy in chains "drowning" is a lot more metaphorical, not really referencing the way cassidy died. To me it more so reads sinking deeper into regret, anger, some kind of emotional or mental state. If we assume that William is STILL in some sort of limbo cause of cassidy, that can't be good for anyone mentally. Cassidy's mental state is sinking and deteriorating like the great escape freddy, to the point where I wonder if some of the things going in the pizza plex in SB/Ruin is cause whatever is left of cassidy is some sort of remnant/agony monster. Thinking more about it, maybe cassidy themselves IS the blob/tangle? Not a merger of souls, but one very powerful presumably mentally insane entity hanging on out of pure spite?
I think your cats are loafs and I adore them. un another note, I feel it is hard to untangle what is really happening in security breach + DLC. I remember thinking that security breach felt like a lot of lore dump, with the bags. I am curious to what the next game will bring.

Some of my first unfiltered thoughts were that because the lake in UCN and Ruin are red it could be pointing to her drowning in blood (her own blood). Also if I'm not mistaken (I only read The Silver Eyes book) when you are in a spring-lock suite while it's actively springlocking, most victims drown in their own blood due to the puncture wounds. That could explain the constricting chains on both Golden Freddys in the DLC and Ruin. Maybe Cassidy was the only child victim William used the springlock suits to kill and that's why her death was so brutal. But this doesn't exactly support the connection you made to the Tales from the Pizzaplex story. Ooor maybe Cassidy didn't die in the place we thought she did. Typically with theories (from what I understand at least), most people see Cassidy as having died at a Freddy's location but what if it was during one of the fall fests. It seems like a regular event for the Freddy Fazbear team to attend (with all the posters featuring not just Freddy and Bonnie but Chica, Foxy, Cupcake, and even the Puppet). I'm not sure exactly what my theory on how she would have died but William could have tricked/challenged her to do the Houdini trick and escape the dunk tank with the promise of rescuing her if she couldn't. I imagine that would be a fairly slow and painful death having to watch as the very air left your lungs with William just standing there, watching. Everything turning black. (may have gone a little too into details but you get the point) I just can't help but wonder how everything will connect to the fall fest? Does Cassidy even have anything to do with Fall Fest? Did William start his murder spree/experiments earlier than we initially believed? What is even happening anymore?! Who even is William Afton!! Did he even have children or did he just kidnap and threaten a group of people into playing house while using them for his own personal gain....! ANYWAY, that's just my theory..... A GAME THEORY!! Maybe he killed her drowning her in a bucket of water (that he would use to cover his tracks of murdering the kids aka wipe the blood) or drow her with her or the other kids blood
I dont think having the weird skins is a bad thing. It’s an opportunity to create versions of the characters that wouldn’t otherwise fit into actual games. It’s a fun art opportunity and I wish they’d been able to show more ideas. The only bad thing about the skins and such was the microtransactions. But that’s an issue with like all phone app games. I think they should have just had the app cost money upfront.
With Ultimate Custom Night and FNaF World being linked: Could this be a variation of Heaven and Hell? Or Purgatory and Hell? In this case FNaF World would be either Heaven or Purgatory, the spirits of the dead children would have gone there, but perhaps because they did kill innocent people while possessing the animatronics they must do some sort of task, destroying the glitches, in order to be allowed to move on to heaven. If we go all the way down in FNaF World we reach the lake Old Man Consequences is fishing at, a red lake like a lake of blood or fire, and beneath that is Hell aka Ultimate Custom Night where Afton is being tortured.

Not relevant to the video but if you think about it the new fnaf games is gonna be into the pit, and into the pit is about a time traveling ballpit and going into the past, so I think into the pit could be a way for us to get a game or something based on fall fest, the people working on the fnaf games are wanting to explore the past of the franchise and this would be a good way to introduce fall fest
So Cassie is the one who got brutalized by William and is the one that we do have specifications of her death IE that it was really bad, maybe this is all indicating that she drown in a pool of her own blood? Side note is it also possible that this parallels with Charlie?
If Cassie becomes the next Vanny, do you think Roxy will become basically her attack dog. Roxy seems to really like Cassie so I wouldn’t be surprised if Cassie kept her around to use her when she gets taken over.
I agree with everyone else saying that it's Cassidy drowning in her own blood due to Golden Freddy being a springlocked animatronic. I am 99% sure that our new yet old narrative is trying to tell us that Cassidy is the Vengeful spirit because she died in the worse way possible, by drowning in her own blood because William springlocked her in Golden Freddy and quite possibly it happened in the Fall Fest which is why we see the red lake in like three different games with a chained up Golden Freddy in the same place. Red lake = drowning in blood, Golden Freddy is piloted by Cassidy but also the CC because he got bit by the same animatronic. Edit: I saw another comment saying that "William was actually trying to save her from the Fall Fest fire by putting her in FredBear and into the tank but didn't know what would happen" Which is why we see Golden Freddy in the tank chained up and the red lake because she also drowned in her own blood to in the tank full of water. That could've made her agony be put onto him and turned into the way he is now and/or he saw that her death made FredBear look more alive and started to do experiments on how it works. OOOOH! What if CC got bit because Fredbear was already possessed by Cassidy which is why he ended up being bit like that instead of something happening with the springlocks for the head since it was already in animatronic mode?! What if she did the bite because she was alone and needed help to get William and not the suit itself?!!?! :c CC was the one that couldn't see but could move around, but she could see but couldn't move around! You see where I'm going with this? :> What if Scott is telling us how William killed her because of how different she is and because she was actually his first kill? But why would he kill her that way is the real question. Who knows. Maybe it was an accident and William noticed something about the fact that being killed in such a horrible way next to stuff like that causes possession which is why he made the Funtimes instead of his children being killed first to make them since his daughter died to Baby, and CC to Fredbear/Cassidy. Idk. I'm sure the Fall Fest game would help when it comes. I'm sure for right now that the timeline is more so: Fall Fest, SL, FredBear's diner aka FNAF 4, FNAF either 1 then 2 or 2 then 1 and then FNAF 3, and UCN and FNAF World happen at the same time maybe and then Pizzaria Simulation, and SB to Ruin. *MAYBE!*

I believe CC was left over in the suit instead of Cassidy because of my vision and then the evidence for that started pouring in from the community. CC is the only one in the suit rn. Cassidy was first in Golden Freddy and then CC came along. UCN happens and the D coin was "probably" actually used in the lore of the games being used on Cassidy leaving CC in the suit. No evidence, just throwing an idea out. We see by the red pond in fnaf world/ucn a bunch of trees surrounding it. This could just be a general detail that sticks throughout fnaf world’s sublayers, but I wonder if that lake could be representative of a location in fnaf’s real world. And we do know that, assuming the guy in the Later That Night name is Afton, that there is a large forest surrounding Afton’s house. Could it be possible there’s a lake deeper into the woods around his house and that’s where he tried to drown Cassidy, if that does hold any importance?

I mean, Ballora in this little DLC just seems random, but if she's supposed to represent Afton's wife, could that be a hint that Afton lost more than his son in 83? I really like Sire Squawks's interpretation of Cassidy being springlocked in the Fredbear suit by William. And I believe in the Silver Eyes it says that springlock victims drown in their own blood. Maybe that is where Cassidy drowned?
That could be where the chain symbolism comes in, too. Her body would have essentially been bound to the suit, she's chained to Golden Freddy and being the Vengeful Spirit. She doesn't give up because she's incapable of doing so. She isn't haunting the suit, she's more like Springtrap, but she only died the one time.

One thing that has stood out to me recently is how similar the names Cassie and Cassidy are. I know theres the whole meme about MatPat and "Gregory is a robot rebuilt version of the Crying Child" but that draws a connection between the two spirits in Golden Freddy's suit and the two children inside the Pizzaplex

It’s pretty neat. The new generation dealing with what old ones did. Cassidy passed down the whole stop Springtrap thing, to Cassie’s father, and Gregory destroy a ton of animatronics, even though CC was terrified of them.
there is something i want to add to this. the animatronics and Vanny all seems to see Gregory, yet no one mentions why his stuff was left in the basement when cassie got there, and 2) no one mentions what Freddy meant when he told Gregory that he isn't in the registry(your guest profile is unknown to me) could that have hinted that he was dead at that point, since well he is a complete resemblance to the crying child. would that make the crying child Gregory Afton? even in the papers he was one of the 6 children missing, if gregory did escape and survived, why would the papers still consider him missing, wouldn't he be considered found at that point? notice how quite literally nothing after security breach mentions Gregory, except cassie who was tricked by the mimic, mimicking his voice?

Boy, that description of the Fall Fest fire safety hazards eerily reminds me of the real tragedy that happened at the Haunted Castle attraction in New Jersey. (TW Death) . Haunted Castle was a late 70s attraction at Six Flags Great Adventure that was originally meant to be temporary (like Fall Fest), but due to popularity was never taken down. However, it was also never really brought up to code for a permanent attraction, escaping code inspectors' attention because of these origins. It consisted of multiple trailers decorated with highly flammable materials like foam rubber, fabrics, and plywood. And because this was the days before cell phone flashlights, teens going through the dark attraction would use lighters while walking through the halls. While it had SOME fire safety features, they did not install sprinklers, and all other precautions were either vandalized and not replaced or were rendered unusable in other ways that went unnoticed. So on May 11, 1984 (one year after 1983), one of the foam pads caught fire from one of these lighters and quickly spread. 14 escaped, but 8 teens were trapped inside and burned to death, while 7 others sustained injuries. Just sort of reminds you that the horrors of Freddy's might be laughably unsafe , but there are real tragedies out there caused by negligence, making Freddy's just a little more believable.

Like "these things happened in the 80s, around the time we assume the Fall Fest fire happened". It's a testament to how safety standards were looser/less cared for in the past, especially by corporations. Parallels to real life events don't prove anything, yes, but they can be inspirations for writing, so I get why the original poster mentioned it.
In the silver eyes when William is explaining what happens during a springlock failure, he specifically mentions your lungs filling with your own blood until you *drown* in it. Maybe that’s why the lake is red in fnaf world and ruin, and that’s how Cassidy “drowned”. It might have been a springlock failure. She was put into the suit, and died from the springlocks.
I mean, coo theoey, but... Don't we already know how Cassidy died? High School Chica tells us this in UCN, which everyone agreed was brutally violent compared to the others she mentioned killing before. She is supposed to be a parallel to Afton, so we have a bit of background on why Cassidy is so vengeful, and is the one he should not have killed. Though really they all shouldn't have been killed...
@@longfishy: It's just a theory. A GAME THEORY! We will all see once the next two games come out, but rn, I have a feeling that they're telling us Cassidy died in Fredbear before William's children died. Something must've happened for him to make the Funtimes for Baby to kill Elisabeth and FredBear to kill CC which is why a lot of ppl put SL before FNAF 1 and 2 even happen. Actually, I don't think the suit itself killed CC because of some tears. I think that Cassidy killed CC instead because she couldn't move which is why Golden Freddy is also slumped over in FNAF 1, 2 and 3 and she needed some help to move it. Maybe even over time her agony and maybe even CC's agony helped with moving the suit which is why we see it "move" the way it does.
Another thing to point out is that the photo booth in FNAF AR, where you can take pictures of your FNAF AR skins, there are filters that you can add. The very last one has a red curtain with a wooden sign that reads, “Come one come all, the Fazbear circus”. I even have proof of it in the community section of my channel to prove it.

While a lot of people have pointed out that Cassidy's drowning could've been via drowning through internal bleeding (a dry drowning, I think it's called, bc there isn't any water involved technically), I wanna elaborate on it. Because I think there's a lot to suggest that Cassidy wasn't killed prior to being stuffed, but rather killed via being stuffed. There's that one Fazbear Frights story about kids being lured to a fazbear suit and pulled inside of it. There's the fact Cassidy is so vengeful, implying a lot of agony was experienced by them. Especially if you consider that Cassidy was killed last: first they're lured into a room full of dead kids in suits and then they're stuffed (or alternatively, like Afton later, attempted to escape his reach by hiding in the Golden suit only for the spring locks to be activated). There's the fact that Golden Freddy is limp and listless in FNAF 1, in a pose reminiscent of the sprinlocked William without the twitching. Cassidy may not have died right away, given the fact there's the candy cadet story about a key to saving one life. Near fatal injuries are survivable, even if the chances are extremely slim in most cases. There's also the notion that the drowning iconography could be purely symbolic. It's possible that for Cassidy, their afterlife feels like they're constantly drowning. They're, after all, stuck. Tethered. Held beneath the surface that is release. In fact, I think that might be very likely. 'Leave the demon to his demons, rest your own soul.' To escape Old Man Consequences, you have to drown. I think drowning might be symbolic of Cassidy chosing to chase their murderer again and again, refusing to let go or rest. And I don't think these ideas need be mutually exclusive to one another. I think they can run concurrently.
Hi Forsaken AR dev here and I just wanted to leave some comments on the video! while there is no official way to play FNaF AR now, ForsakenBonnie (the creator of Forsaken AR) has archived Versions 1.0.0 and 8.0. These versions act basically as the original game with no extra content (unlike Forsaken AR which does add new content). Some things are changed such as the shop and removed microtransaction, but that's so you can collect everything those versions have to offer.
I think this theory may be likely. Cassidy's corpse (assuming it's their's) not appearing until the end of the FNAF 2 "Give Gifts, Give Life" minigame, always felt like to me implied that maybe they weren't killed in the saferoom. And it isn't exactly uncharacteristic of William to go after a child outside the pizzaria, as now seen in the movie. So perhaps Cassidy was kidnapped and drowned in a lake by William. But the major counter evidence for that idea is the news clippings in FNAF 1 that talk about FIVE kids getting lured in and killed. Unless you want the fifth kid in that situation to be Andrew (which is an idea I don't really like myself tbh). It would also beg the question of how they ended up as Golden Freddy, if they weren't killed in a Freddy's.
adding onto the counter, Cassidy still needs to possess Golden Freddy in some way, that just doesn't really work out if she was drowned in a lake with the whole proximity=possession thing, and the argument for Garrett can be that he was the first victim and seperate from MCI.

Another suggestion I've seen in the comments here is that maybe they drowned in their own blood in the suit they were stuffed into. Now i know the movie has its own separate timeline butttt the fact that william went out of his way to kidnap garret then kill him (which we don’t know where he was killed tho and the mystery with GF being a blonde boy but his face is taped over the first child) could have some similarities or rules that may apply to the games
As a lot of other people in the comments have pointed out, Cassidy probably drowned in her own blood from the spring lock failure. On pg. 269 of The Silver Eyes, William explains to Carlton, "Your vocal cords will be severed, and your lungs will fill up with your own blood until you drown in it."

I think it could all be metaphorical... Vengeful spirit is chained to the freddys franchise and cannot escape the living world, hence the chains wrapped around golden freddy type stuff. The submerging in water could be symbolic of the spirit giving up/accepting these metaphorical chains, and choosing to go even farther from resting in order to confront someone who is still alive/get revenge, or perhaps prevent someone else from ending up like them.
What if its the idea of golden freddy being ensarred in agony and rage, maybe the red sea is red because of the countless victims effected by williams action, and going back in represents reliving that trama bringing your friends with you to torcher william even though they want to be released and free from that pain. I always saw the blob as an interesting tie in for UCN cause it makes since as far as why are their characters in UCN missing or seemly irrlevent and whos mind are they being pulled from williams or cassidys, but i think i was thinking about it wrong, what if those animatronic parts making up the blob play into the roster form in UCN all the cursed children and their agony that little remnant left after happiest day, because something had to be left behind in order for their souls to move on i think after the souls left do to happiest day and henry the only one left was cassidy and with all that anger and rage left inside them they use that agony and the agony of their friends to "put themselves back together" as the blob and torchure william. Even in the book about the man in room 108 "or whichever room" its only 1 soul vs another instead of the conglomerate vs the one, which i personally think is a fight william could never win.

I really think Cassidy drowned in their own blood after being stuffed. It isn't shown that the Cassidy was stuffed by the puppet in the mini-game, besides appearing briefly. So, I think William stuffed them in the Fredbear suit, causing the suit to go off and pierce Cassidy's body, probably their lungs or something connected to it for the drowning stuff.
Cassidy would then be really mad at William for that, and that also explains how they drowned. I think the OMC lakes and other (possibly also OMC) red lakes are connected to the drowning motif and is telling us it was in them drowning in their own blood.
I also think this could explain Puppetstuffed if you believe that. Charlie stuffed the other kids because she saw that Cassidy got stuffed and began moving.

In UCN, there's even a clip of golden freddy twitching, similar to the way springtrap twitched in the fnaf 3 trailer. Obviously the twitching is just representing her being restless, but it is interesting how she's moving in the same way as someone else who died in a springlock suit.
I actually think this makes a lot of sense- I bet you William was trying to Kidnap the kid, maybe she was the first, stuffed her in the springlock suit then went back to work to ease any suspicions- But Cassidy was crying and her tears triggered the springlocks, piercing the lungs but not outright killing her due to her childlike size, from where she just gradually drowned over the course of hours resenting the man who shoved her in the suit... And William only discovered her death at the end of the work day, long after she had passed in agonizing gasping solitude.

My thoughts: The Puppet, Cassie and Baby are much more alive because their deaths and suit "injection" are a lot closer in happening.
In the give life events the children already look like ghost/skeletons.
However, the Puppet was right after she died and Baby was right as she died. So that leaves the vengeful spirit Cassie to most likely have actually died in the suit.
This makes a lot of sense in terms of the give gifts/give life mini game, and the relative levels of awareness/sentience the various animatronics show.
If we go with Cassidy = Golden Freddy = Vengeful Spirit, then dying inside Golden Freddy makes sense, with the drowning being a case of drowning in her own blood or perhaps a case of ‘dry drowning’. Based on the original newspaper clippings, Cassidy would have been one of two children simultaneously lured by William as the final two. It’s likely she is literally “the one you should not have killed” because she was never part of the plan. If William is somehow motivated by the bite of ‘83, it makes (twisted) sense that he would basically create effigies of the 4 masked bullies. Cassidy was a random plus one and William had to act fast. So likely he did something to incapacitate Cassidy so he could deal with the fourth child in a manner similar to the others. He may have gagged her to keep her quiet until he had time, or even stuffed her in the Golden Freddy costume while she was still alive, both things that could have lead to some form of asphyxiation.
With the way the series likes to echo itself, we don’t see how William handled Golden Freddy when he was dismantling the others. It would be fitting if the process of taking out Golden Freddy was similarly drowning themed. Alternatively, he never actually bothered with Golden Freddy, but Cassidy driving William into the Spring Bonnie suit is the parallel instead. William dies like she did, comes back like she did, and like the first time, it is her that ruins his plan. He probably wouldn’t have been ‘caught’ on tape if not for Cassidy. His luring one child at a time seemed to be going unnoticed. [he would put a similar rule in place for Circus Baby, never deal with two kids at once].
It’s also an interesting contrast of drowning vs burning. Perhaps Cassidy’s ability to keep William alive “no matter how many times they burn us” is tied to her drowning.

One thing that can be some supporting evidence that the sister location characters may have been around in Fall Fest is the sister location 8bit mini game. The reason I bring up the mini game is the fact that in the mini game baby is giving cupcake to kids outside. Unlike every other mini game, the sister location one is the only one that shows it’s outside (I know that FNAF 4 shows the crying child outside, but that’s beside the point). The mini game is supposed to show how Elizabeth died before the opening of circus baby’s pizza world, but why would baby be outside, unless it was done in some sort of outside event. I know this theory isn’t perfect because it may contradict the gas leak that happened at circus baby’s, but this is just some food for thought when thinking how far back the stuff from sister location could have been in the timeline.

If Cassidy really is the Princess, it actually could make a lot of sense. After all, the Princess was named Cassidy in the files. Security Breach and the newer games have TONS of Ultimate Custom Night references, (which the mimic would not know about just saying) like OMC being labeled in Help Wanted2’s Princess Quest ending. There could be evidence that maybe Cassidy or the Agony of her is still left at the PizzaPlex. I also made a recent descovery that changed my perspective on this franchise- The novel trilogy (Silver Eyes, Twisted Ones, Fourth Closet all have incredible ammount of references in Security Breach, kinda off topic but worth noting)
In Fury’s rage there is a map that is a run down alley way behind it is a massive circus tent. Also in this alley we can see Scraptrap outside of the FNaF 6 location this suggests that this circus / carnival takes place after Sister Loaction and before FNaF 6.

I think cassidy was killed by being put into the golden freddy springlock suit, then thrown into some body water, activating the water sensitive springlocks, and causing her to suffer an excruciating death. Both drowned and pierced by springlocks simultaneously. It would tie both the death by water evidence and parallel her and the spirits kill william with by activating the springlocks with water.
18:27 it could simply be that she was the most brutal of all the killings, which would obviously leave a "pool of red" but another theory i've heard being used recently is the idea that she was springlocked. In the books afton describes a failure as being extremely painful and that your lungs would fill with blood as you drown in your own blood

It would be pretty cool to see an earlier Fall Fest, mostly because I think it would be great to get Steel Wool’s interpretations of the Afton kids. Fall Fest 1983 did have the Afton House in the background, so it’s likely they attended before they all died. And I mean hey, we did get a lot of hints about Cassie’s dad possibly being the Bonnie mask kid. Getting to see Michael and His Boys(tm) in 3D would be pretty cool!
Only place I can think in the restaurant where Cassidy could have been drowned is the toilet, and if I was swirlied to death, I think I would be a pretty vengeful spirit too
I wonder if he had her stuffed in golden Freddy but took her out and tossed her in a lake. Because unlike the others he wasnt "proud" of this one and didn't want to be reminded of her anymore. Later to be replaced with the crying child. That could explain how two souls got into the suit. Another fold could be that she wasn't actually fully dead and drowned chained up after being brutally beaten. So the suit doesn't have her remnant but her angony only. It probably wasn't his usually MO and might not have realized he hadn't finished her. I suspect she was beaten rather than stabbed with a knife.
Ballora is your classic stereotypical Gypsy mixed with a ballerina. You often find Gypsy-themed attractions at carnivals and cheap festivals. Why she’s a ballerina? Fazbear decided it was best to rebrand the original Ballora design to be more like a ballerina in order to not be accused of any bigotry
Circus Baby is a clown. She sings, dances, whatever you need her to do as a clown should do. Even her name, “Baby”, isn’t a name you’d typically expect on anyone except some sort of clown.
Funtime Freddy is meant to be a puppeteer performer with BonBon. A ventriloquist, in other words. Another thing you’d find at a carnival or festival. He has the goofy voice and the ability to alter his voice itself to do different impressions… and lure kids.
Funtime Foxy is hard at first. What would be their purpose? Well we get our answer in UCN. Funtime Foxy is a sort of announcer and show runner. Just listen to their voice, they sound like an old radio host. They’d walk up on stage, say “up next is the Jaw-Dropping Act of Ballora Ballerina! Return at 5 o’clock to witness the act!”

I work in a store and in the backroom we have an industrial sink that we can use to fill mop buckets in case of spills
it's in the corner of the room and on the floor there are small cement walls about 6-7 inches tall making a water tight open box on the floor with a faucet on the wall to fill it
Freddie's would need to be cleaned (obviously) so they would need mops (i even think one of the members of trash and the gang is a mop) so in the back room their would be an industrial sink built into the floor
it's also a well known fact that a person can drown and die in a 1/2 inch puddle if they are unlucky. some children have even died this way because they fall down and hit their head and go unconscious and fall face first into a puddle
what if when William was cleaning up either from killing the missing children and/or putting their bodies into the suits or trying to remove their bodies from the suits after the police investigations are over so he can get rid of them without being caught Cassidy being a curious child went into the employees only backroom (kids often break the rules like this because their just kids and don't know better) and she found Afton cleaning up the blood on the floor by mopping and because he wasn't expecting to be caught he was unprepared and he knew she saw something incriminating in his panic drowned her in the sink built into the floor which would also tie into why Cassidy is refereed to as 'the one you should not have killed' in UCN. he never meant to kill her she wasn't one of his targets she should have been safe from him
I see a lot of people suggesting the theory that she drowned in her own blood while getting stuffed in golden freddy but I think we are lacking more evidence for that.
One thing that came to my mind is Fnaf 6, in pizzeria simulator when we play fruity maze we can assume that we see how William lured Sussie, the thing is that puts the game itself fruity maze at the same time and place as the missing children's incident, so what about the other attractions? Maybe they are part of the original attractions when the incident happened, so when we are talking about Cassidy possibly being drowned, there is another attraction that involves water, the duck pond that we see in Fnaf 6, so what if her death was a lot more violent and sudden, not premeditated like the others but in a fit of rage, of extreme violence, and that left a mark on Cassidy's spirit. Just an interesting thought.
I think the drowning motif might represent that Cassidy is feeling anger, she is drowning in her rage. Red usually represents anger. Maybe this is a hint for us as we go forward that we need to combat this past rage somehow and that is the key to defeating glitchtrap. Remnant is powered by strong emotions, maybe if you provide strong emotions of a countering emotion(say compassion) that it makes the remnant weaker?
Maybe the drowning is symbolic of the transformation that trapped souls are undergoing. Evidently, the princess in princess quest isn't a specific person, the princess is an avatar that represents different trapped souls. I think when a trapped soul thinks they're strong enough to take on William, they become the new torch bearer in the fight against William to help others escape. Unfortunately, some princesses seem to have lost the fight against William. Perhaps as some princesses get stronger, they don't seem to realize that the line between them and William becomes very blurry. Sooner or later, they're fully consumed by vengeance and probably get absorbed by the blob. That is what the blob is, a collection of souls warped by wrath and consumed by agony, they don't even remember who they were. Each time we see drowning, it could be a reference to a princess having lost a battle with William, so who really knows how many trapped souls are in the blob (we can count masks and parts on it but it can be way more than whatever it visible). Maybe that's why the blob tries to attack/absorb gregory en route to the Afton ending of Security Breach when he's not hidden within Glamrock Freddy. The blob's purpose is to absorb princesses consumed by their vengeance. That begs the question, even though the Security Breach William ending isn't canon, does gregory harbor a vengeful soul? Is that why he led Cassie to the PizzaPlex in Ruin? Gregory is the wizard's apprentice after all.

About the fire at the carnival i just wanted to add that irl animatronics often accidentally caught fire (anyways i saw a lot of videos about that on youtube) and in this mini game your trapped in a room with a lot of highly flammable objects and you fight 3 animatronics from what i understand 😅😅 idk 🤷♂️ just an idea .. not very satisfying tho .. anyway keep it up and long life to you and your cats ❤❤

This might be a stretch but I may have a reason on why Cassidy is associated with drowning. In the Silver Eyes novels it is said that when spring locked you drown in your own blood, so maybe William instead of killing and stuffing Cassidy in a suit instead just spring locked her alive. This could also be why the water that is associated with Cassidy is always red, because it’s blood.
Anyone consider maybe he put Cassidy in golden Freddy and then submerged with the intention that Freddy would untangle himself and escape but the spring locks go off in the water and her blood turned the water red so while fearing being in freddy and fearing drowning she ends up springlocked? And maybe the ruckus from the blood leads to a panic that causes the fire?

I have to think on it more, really was just throwing out a sudden thought from during the premier, but golden Freddy isnt a part of give life. They show up themselves. That does bring up the question of how golden Freddy though, but something to think on.
The chains, drowning, an escape water tank and escape room. That's Saw trap stuff. And there was the weird Saw trap mask in the movie. I haven't read them, but I've heard that the Pizzaplex books can be shockingly violent. I'd say that FNaF is moving in a more graphic and violent direction, but I can't imagine why they'd do that. They make a lot of money walking the horror for kids line.

If Ballora was created to represent Afton's wife, it actually makes more sense that she remained unaltered, despite being the Fall Festival having a theme. If I made a character to emotionally represent someone special to me, it would feel ridiculous to play dress up cause you wanna remember them as they were. And when that's a partner, you already think they're perfect as they are. Just food for thought!

They need to release a "De-Make" of VR and AR for normal console and PC. Use the engine from Security breach for the AR segments [as in you control not Gregory/Cassie in generic, or randomly generated maps, maybe with unlockable arenas that emulate the various FNaF locations, like Fazbear's Fright, Fredbear's Family Diner, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, New Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, the Afton gas house, Circus Baby's Pizza World, Chica's Party World, and random book locations.
You kust play the games without the VR/AR gimmicks. the FNaF recreations from HW would literally just be the OG games with the animations and voice lines from HW and AR, with a special free-run VS mode as described above. The various locales from the Pizza Plex [Monty Golf, Atrium, Roxy Racers, Bonnie Bowl, El Chips etc] from both book and the SB +Ruin could be self-contained maps.
I love that theory! I think it would be an important plot point because it's Golden Freddy. Golden Freddy is important to the lore, but at the same time, we still don't know much about him.(Also, a Golden Freddy backstory game would be nice).

I think the golden freddy in chains "drowning" is a lot more metaphorical, not really referencing the way cassidy died. To me it more so reads sinking deeper into regret, anger, some kind of emotional or mental state. If we assume that William is STILL in some sort of limbo cause of cassidy, that can't be good for anyone mentally. Cassidy's mental state is sinking and deteriorating like the great escape freddy, to the point where I wonder if some of the things going in the pizza plex in SB/Ruin is cause whatever is left of cassidy is some sort of remnant/agony monster.
Thinking more about it, maybe cassidy themselves IS the blob/tangle? Not a merger of souls, but one very powerful presumably mentally insane entity hanging on out of pure spite?

What if… Cassidy was killed in fall fest and it was William Afton’s first kill? Then they would be called “the one you should not have killed” because that death led to all of the other deaths.
Some of my first unfiltered thoughts were that because the lake in UCN and Ruin are red it could be pointing to her drowning in blood (her own blood). Also if I'm not mistaken (I only read The Silver Eyes book) when you are in a spring-lock suite while it's actively springlocking, most victims drown in their own blood due to the puncture wounds. That could explain the constricting chains on both Golden Freddys in the DLC and Ruin.
Maybe Cassidy was the only child victim William used the springlock suits to kill and that's why her death was so brutal. But this doesn't exactly support the connection you made to the Tales from the Pizzaplex story.
Ooor maybe Cassidy didn't die in the place we thought she did. Typically with theories (from what I understand at least), most people see Cassidy as having died at a Freddy's location but what if it was during one of the fall fests. It seems like a regular event for the Freddy Fazbear team to attend (with all the posters featuring not just Freddy and Bonnie but Chica, Foxy, Cupcake, and even the Puppet). I'm not sure exactly what my theory on how she would have died but William could have tricked/challenged her to do the Houdini trick and escape the dunk tank with the promise of rescuing her if she couldn't. I imagine that would be a fairly slow and painful death having to watch as the very air left your lungs with William just standing there, watching. Everything turning black. (may have gone a little too into details but you get the point)
I just can't help but wonder how everything will connect to the fall fest? Does Cassidy even have anything to do with Fall Fest? Did William start his murder spree/experiments earlier than we initially believed? What is even happening anymore?! Who even is William Afton!! Did he even have children or did he just kidnap and threaten a group of people into playing house while using them for his own personal gain....!

I dont think having the weird skins is a bad thing. It’s an opportunity to create versions of the characters that wouldn’t otherwise fit into actual games. It’s a fun art opportunity and I wish they’d been able to show more ideas. The only bad thing about the skins and such was the microtransactions. But that’s an issue with like all phone app games. I think they should have just had the app cost money upfront.
With Ultimate Custom Night and FNaF World being linked: Could this be a variation of Heaven and Hell? Or Purgatory and Hell? In this case FNaF World would be either Heaven or Purgatory, the spirits of the dead children would have gone there, but perhaps because they did kill innocent people while possessing the animatronics they must do some sort of task, destroying the glitches, in order to be allowed to move on to heaven. If we go all the way down in FNaF World we reach the lake Old Man Consequences is fishing at, a red lake like a lake of blood or fire, and beneath that is Hell aka Ultimate Custom Night where Afton is being tortured.

Not relevant to the video but if you think about it the new fnaf games is gonna be into the pit, and into the pit is about a time traveling ballpit and going into the past, so I think into the pit could be a way for us to get a game or something based on fall fest, the people working on the fnaf games are wanting to explore the past of the franchise and this would be a good way to introduce fall fest
So Cassie is the one who got brutalized by William and is the one that we do have specifications of her death IE that it was really bad, maybe this is all indicating that she drown in a pool of her own blood? Side note is it also possible that this parallels with Charlie?

I agree with everyone else saying that it's Cassidy drowning in her own blood due to Golden Freddy being a springlocked animatronic.
I am 99% sure that our new yet old narrative is trying to tell us that Cassidy is the Vengeful spirit because she died in the worse way possible, by drowning in her own blood because William springlocked her in Golden Freddy and quite possibly it happened in the Fall Fest which is why we see the red lake in like three different games with a chained up Golden Freddy in the same place.
Red lake = drowning in blood, Golden Freddy is piloted by Cassidy but also the CC because he got bit by the same animatronic.
Edit: I saw another comment saying that "William was actually trying to save her from the Fall Fest fire by putting her in FredBear and into the tank but didn't know what would happen" Which is why we see Golden Freddy in the tank chained up and the red lake because she also drowned in her own blood to in the tank full of water.
That could've made her agony be put onto him and turned into the way he is now and/or he saw that her death made FredBear look more alive and started to do experiments on how it works.

I believe CC was left over in the suit instead of Cassidy because of my vision and then the evidence for that started pouring in from the community. CC is the only one in the suit rn.
Cassidy was first in Golden Freddy and then CC came along. UCN happens and the D coin was "probably" actually used in the lore of the games being used on Cassidy leaving CC in the suit.

No evidence, just throwing an idea out. We see by the red pond in fnaf world/ucn a bunch of trees surrounding it. This could just be a general detail that sticks throughout fnaf world’s sublayers, but I wonder if that lake could be representative of a location in fnaf’s real world. And we do know that, assuming the guy in the Later That Night name is Afton, that there is a large forest surrounding Afton’s house. Could it be possible there’s a lake deeper into the woods around his house and that’s where he tried to drown Cassidy, if that does hold any importance?

I really like Sire Squawks's interpretation of Cassidy being springlocked in the Fredbear suit by William. And I believe in the Silver Eyes it says that springlock victims drown in their own blood. Maybe that is where Cassidy drowned?

That could be where the chain symbolism comes in, too. Her body would have essentially been bound to the suit, she's chained to Golden Freddy and being the Vengeful Spirit. She doesn't give up because she's incapable of doing so. She isn't haunting the suit, she's more like Springtrap, but she only died the one time.

One thing that has stood out to me recently is how similar the names Cassie and Cassidy are. I know theres the whole meme about MatPat and "Gregory is a robot rebuilt version of the Crying Child" but that draws a connection between the two spirits in Golden Freddy's suit and the two children inside the Pizzaplex

It’s pretty neat. The new generation dealing with what old ones did. Cassidy passed down the whole stop Springtrap thing, to Cassie’s father, and Gregory destroy a ton of animatronics, even though CC was terrified of them.
there is something i want to add to this. the animatronics and Vanny all seems to see Gregory, yet no one mentions why his stuff was left in the basement when cassie got there, and 2) no one mentions what Freddy meant when he told Gregory that he isn't in the registry(your guest profile is unknown to me) could that have hinted that he was dead at that point, since well he is a complete resemblance to the crying child. would that make the crying child Gregory Afton?
even in the papers he was one of the 6 children missing, if gregory did escape and survived, why would the papers still consider him missing, wouldn't he be considered found at that point? notice how quite literally nothing after security breach mentions Gregory, except cassie who was tricked by the mimic, mimicking his voice?

Boy, that description of the Fall Fest fire safety hazards eerily reminds me of the real tragedy that happened at the Haunted Castle attraction in New Jersey. (TW Death)

Haunted Castle was a late 70s attraction at Six Flags Great Adventure that was originally meant to be temporary (like Fall Fest), but due to popularity was never taken down. However, it was also never really brought up to code for a permanent attraction, escaping code inspectors' attention because of these origins. It consisted of multiple trailers decorated with highly flammable materials like foam rubber, fabrics, and plywood. And because this was the days before cell phone flashlights, teens going through the dark attraction would use lighters while walking through the halls. While it had SOME fire safety features, they did not install sprinklers, and all other precautions were either vandalized and not replaced or were rendered unusable in other ways that went unnoticed. So on May 11, 1984 (one year after 1983), one of the foam pads caught fire from one of these lighters and quickly spread. 14 escaped, but 8 teens were trapped inside and burned to death, while 7 others sustained injuries.
Just sort of reminds you that the horrors of Freddy's might be laughably unsafe , but there are real tragedies out there caused by negligence, making Freddy's just a little more believable.

In the silver eyes when William is explaining what happens during a springlock failure, he specifically mentions your lungs filling with your own blood until you *drown* in it. Maybe that’s why the lake is red in fnaf world and ruin, and that’s how Cassidy “drowned”. It might have been a springlock failure. She was put into the suit, and died from the springlocks.

She is supposed to be a parallel to Afton, so we have a bit of background on why Cassidy is so vengeful, and is the one he should not have killed. Though really they all shouldn't have been killed...

We will all see once the next two games come out, but rn, I have a feeling that they're telling us Cassidy died in Fredbear before William's children died. Something must've happened for him to make the Funtimes for Baby to kill Elisabeth and FredBear to kill CC which is why a lot of ppl put SL before FNAF 1 and 2 even happen. Actually, I don't think the suit itself killed CC because of some tears. I think that Cassidy killed CC instead because she couldn't move which is why Golden Freddy is also slumped over in FNAF 1, 2 and 3 and she needed some help to move it. Maybe even over time her agony and maybe even CC's agony helped with moving the suit which is why we see it "move" the way it does.
Another thing to point out is that the photo booth in FNAF AR, where you can take pictures of your FNAF AR skins, there are filters that you can add.
The very last one has a red curtain with a wooden sign that reads, “Come one come all, the Fazbear circus”. I even have proof of it in the community section of my channel to prove it.

It’s the little things.
While a lot of people have pointed out that Cassidy's drowning could've been via drowning through internal bleeding (a dry drowning, I think it's called, bc there isn't any water involved technically), I wanna elaborate on it.
Because I think there's a lot to suggest that Cassidy wasn't killed prior to being stuffed, but rather killed via being stuffed. There's that one Fazbear Frights story about kids being lured to a fazbear suit and pulled inside of it. There's the fact Cassidy is so vengeful, implying a lot of agony was experienced by them. Especially if you consider that Cassidy was killed last: first they're lured into a room full of dead kids in suits and then they're stuffed (or alternatively, like Afton later, attempted to escape his reach by hiding in the Golden suit only for the spring locks to be activated).
There's the fact that Golden Freddy is limp and listless in FNAF 1, in a pose reminiscent of the sprinlocked William without the twitching. Cassidy may not have died right away, given the fact there's the candy cadet story about a key to saving one life. Near fatal injuries are survivable, even if the chances are extremely slim in most cases.
There's also the notion that the drowning iconography could be purely symbolic. It's possible that for Cassidy, their afterlife feels like they're constantly drowning. They're, after all, stuck. Tethered. Held beneath the surface that is release. In fact, I think that might be very likely.
'Leave the demon to his demons, rest your own soul.' To escape Old Man Consequences, you have to drown. I think drowning might be symbolic of Cassidy chosing to chase their murderer again and again, refusing to let go or rest.
And I don't think these ideas need be mutually exclusive to one another. I think they can run concurrently.
Hi Forsaken AR dev here and I just wanted to leave some comments on the video!
while there is no official way to play FNaF AR now, ForsakenBonnie (the creator of Forsaken AR) has archived Versions 1.0.0 and 8.0. These versions act basically as the original game with no extra content (unlike Forsaken AR which does add new content). Some things are changed such as the shop and removed microtransaction, but that's so you can collect everything those versions have to offer.
I think this theory may be likely.
Cassidy's corpse (assuming it's their's) not appearing until the end of the FNAF 2 "Give Gifts, Give Life" minigame, always felt like to me implied that maybe they weren't killed in the saferoom. And it isn't exactly uncharacteristic of William to go after a child outside the pizzaria, as now seen in the movie. So perhaps Cassidy was kidnapped and drowned in a lake by William.
But the major counter evidence for that idea is the news clippings in FNAF 1 that talk about FIVE kids getting lured in and killed. Unless you want the fifth kid in that situation to be Andrew (which is an idea I don't really like myself tbh). It would also beg the question of how they ended up as Golden Freddy, if they weren't killed in a Freddy's.
adding onto the counter, Cassidy still needs to possess Golden Freddy in some way, that just doesn't really work out if she was drowned in a lake with the whole proximity=possession thing, and the argument for Garrett can be that he was the first victim and seperate from MCI.

Another suggestion I've seen in the comments here is that maybe they drowned in their own blood in the suit they were stuffed into. It makes a lot more sense with what we know, but I can't help but think all the water-related imagery is suggesting something more.
(dumb speculation i don’t normally theory craft) i think it may still possible for william to kidnap then kill kids outside the pizzeria. Now i know the movie has its own separate timeline butttt the fact that william went out of his way to kidnap garret then kill him (which we don’t know where he was killed tho and the mystery with GF being a blonde boy but his face is taped over the first child) could have some similarities or rules that may apply to the games
As a lot of other people in the comments have pointed out, Cassidy probably drowned in her own blood from the spring lock failure. On pg. 269 of The Silver Eyes, William explains to Carlton, "Your vocal cords will be severed, and your lungs will fill up with your own blood until you drown in it."
