I have been watching videos and practicing, here is my question, I could not see cash flow report for the cost and material allocations. for example, the rental cost of the task 1 is 100 which is paid out at the start of the task. however such cost flow is not shown in the cash flow report, all that I can see is the cash flow for work type cost. why so?

There is none (for MSP 2019) as good as yours on YT. 2. What would be the best way to cost load a schedule for a construction manager. Our only direct labor costs are for a PM & Superintendent. All of our subs are lump sum broken down by cost code.
Check my videos on cost and I resource loading i have a few on my MS Project playlists. Usually around video 4 or 5. Easy enough you. Add site super and pm as work and the subs as a cost. Add the pm and site super to appropriate summary tasks.
Another question, assiging project manager resouces to the very top project summary is not allowed in MS project, So, the alternative solution is to assign it to all sub project summmy tasks to reflect the PM cost ?

It does seem to work to use a (-) for revenue, but I applied it to a fairly complicated project and need to try it out on a dummy project to see if it makes sense.

What i need to emphasize that all incomes and outcomes are not regular and can not be divided evenly by the duration of the task. As sample i have to purchase 1 item paying 30%advance payment and than 50% at delivery and the rest 20% -30 days after delivery. Second item these numbers are different, same is with incomes these are not regular. I can predict amounts for both but how to insert these into MS Project?
Hi, you can’t get it that accurate eg 30 before and after, you would need financial software. But you can get it more accurate by apply costs in your resource sheet and timing payments either start end or prorated. Look on my playlists eg ms project made easy likely video 4 or 5. Don’t apply everything in the fixed cost column.
Sure slide the mouse to the far left right click and you’ll see a menu of views and sheets. Select resource graph and you should see it. You can scroll by resource at the bottom.

You can assign to the top one if you create it instead of adding or on top of adding a project summary task.
