in korea you have to log in with your ssn so you lose everything if you cheat. They punish severely there!

As far as I remember, they even allowed officially in the tournament rules that participants are allowed to use scripts, for example put them on pc via a external drive.
@@balduin_544 Yes, Activision is allowing people to do it at the upcoming LAN Too. Allowing players to install their own software locally. It's outrageous.

Every system allows you to create User accounts that have ZERO Admin privileges and would require a password to install ANY software, and as an administrator you can also disallow the copying or downloading of any files, be it from an online or local source such as a flash drive or hard drive, or via Bluetooth or any back door app.
It's really super simple. the fact they don't do that means they're condoning it so long as it helps them sell more gems each time they release one.

wow. i thought that i had it all figured out, i can smell cheaters from a thousand miles away in any game i play, but i never really suspected viewbotting... that really explains a lot. years ago i visited a goldeneye speedrunner's stream, and he had close to 2000 viewers. i was watching him as he stared blankly into his camera for hours, and eventually i commented on how weird it was that no one was saying anything in chat -- every comment that appeared was only appearing in intervals of like 1 hour or more. the streamer responded by calling me a "random" and asking "why do these useless randoms come into chat and say such useless garbage?" before banning me for being an "idiot". i wasn't insulting him or anything, i was merely wondering why the chat was so supremely dead despite the THOUSANDS of viewers. and now, it all makes sense. that dude was very obviously viewbotting and got angry because he thought that i smelled his BS. fun fact, I didn't! not until now, at least.
It is time the gaming companies do something. Devs are just as shady as the cheaters.

What's even more sad is that players with actual skill and 20+ years of FPS game experience are put into lobbies with these pathetic cheating rats.
Haven't played MWII in over a month, and will definitely not be buying MWIII.
The only way is for the majority of the player base to find out and also stop playing. The problem is the majority player base do not watch videos, clips, or read forums on video games. They just buy the game and play. So many of them probably have no idea the level of cheating or any cheating is going on.

I’m pretty certain that a billion dollar company could end the cheating problem, but they won’t… if they end cheating, they’ll effectively lost 80% of their streamer base. Money before ethics every time. How do you think guys like Dr. Disrespect, who have been playing FPS games for 20 years, lose to streamers who just started playing in 2019? That answer is simple… they’re cheating, and they have been for a while. Tournaments started on console, and should return to it. I play on PC, and PS5…. My gameplay and aim will be the same because I don’t cheat.

I play Apex on Playstation. It was suggested to me to buy Cronus Zen. But I would never cheat. NEVER! I don't want my aim to be ruined. I was slowly getting better. And this is what's all about. Enjoying yourself and challenging yourself.

Can't "WE" the players… THEIR PAYING CUSTOMER BASE file a class action lawsuit against Activision for openly allowing cheats/cheaters so long as it helps promote their billion dollar product??!?!???
I mean they're selling us a product that allows for online and competitive gaming, yet they're openly allowing "Affiliates" to compete against the paying public and tournament players alike and literally steal the prize money. That's called Larson and grand theft! This is no different than the walleye fisherman who got caught cheating in tournaments last year. they were banned from even buying a fishing license and certainly cannot enter any tournaments for a number of years, they had their boat & trailer confiscated and they had to pay back dome of the prize money they stole by cheating in tournaments.
There's no reason these cheaters can't be charged similarly and worse being as the winnings in gaming tend to be much more than fishing.
Saying they were banned for no reason is the mantra of every single cheater who got banned ever.

I do not understand why they are allowed to install anything on LAN equipment. That is sheer stupidity. At the very least why arent they watching and recording what they install on LAN hardware at the very least? There is no integrity at Activision. Has not been in a very long time.

This is the main reason why I stopped playing and uninstalled WZ for three months now. I played without Aim Assist on the OG WZ, and was forced to go back to use the assist for the current WZ. Game is in terrible shape.
