We hope you enjoy this rendition of "O Tannenbaum" by some of our very talented colleagues and their families.
You may know this song by its English translation called "O Christmas Tree", but "O Tannenbaum originated in Germany many centuries ago. There have been several versions dating back to the 1500s, but the newest version was written in the early 1800s by Leipzig composer Ernst Anschütz. The song was written about a fir tree, but it wasn't associated with Christmas until later on.
