i recently bought an F3. late 50's vintage i believe. anyway, i need to know what type of lube to use in the auto feed box. when i received the mill all the gear boxes were drained. if you have any input it would be greatly appreciated.
INtention to inform: we use a good hyraulic oil. HLP 10 comes near to the old used oils. DONT use grease! Only oil! Heres a link to the original manual

I have always had mine filled. I would probably use a thin gear oil.
