Seems like you always had a talent for sharing your adventures! They have gotten better but even this one was so intriguing I put aside some chores to view it! Thank you for sharing and I’m happy to be a part of your fan base as a Pelican Head now!
Welcome to Colorado! Love to live here pple are SO nice and friendly that is easy to feel just like home. Very progressive attitude like he says. Next time you come back to CO don't forget to see Boulder ! I love it even more than Denver. Just a great safe and relax place to live :)
It sure has changed since the days when Larimer Street was run down and not a place to be at night. It's definitely hopping with activity now. Five points has even had a night and day change.
I LOVE COLORADO TOO ❤️❤️❤️. Of all 50 states in the US, I like it the most. I am especially enchanted by the state's diverse and picturesque landscapes. The towns and cities look beautiful, clean, and thoroughly developed. I have always wanted to be there to visit the capital city Denver, college town Boulder, Olympic city Colorado Springs, Pueblo, etc. If I were to further my studies in the US, there would be nowhere else I wanna go but colorful Colorado 🏫🏙️✈️🚂 🌄🌲🌵🌴🌺🌻. P/S: Other places outside Colorado may be more beautiful or interesting to visit, but of course..."beauty is in the eye of the beholder" 😍✌️
I'm only half way through the video, I have to pause to say thank you for the video. I'm just researching since I'm writing an urban fantasy I want to set in Denver, and you've given me great locations and also have been very entertaining and informative. Thank you! :D
HAHA the rain almost never lasts in Denver. It's one of the sunniest cities in the country. It's know for quick afternoon rain showers in the spring/summer, that come in fast, and then clear off quickly.
Don’t forget Denver has some of the most diverse and delicious food known in the country, and red rocks is rated number one for the best amphitheater in the country!
Haha I'll be leaving my home in philly for two days, to go to denver, to see a replica of the liberty bell, where literally I ride by the real thing practically every day. 🤣
fyi _ The Brown Palace Hotel is around 100 years old, with lots of history. It really is one of Denver's great places. Yeah, you should see it sometime, especially since u r a history buff.
Thought the vid is dated, I enjoyed it as the wife and I visiting Colo. in a few days for a getaway. Hoping Covid-19 doesn't close it all down as this has been a trip in the making for some time.
300 + days of sunshine per year. But the weather can change at any time. It could be 80 in the day and the temperature can drop below freezing at night sometimes. So dress appropriately.
Great video. I wish you'd come do another one this summer. So many changes and different and new things for you to enjoy! Especially downtown Denver. I enjoy your narrating. Funny.
Nah get away from Yuppyville Downtown and hit Golden and Arvada and Lakewood....great sportsbar Wrigley's Field 18500 w Colfax just past Colorado Mills with great food at a good price and then there is a trail Stegosaurus Trail with great views of Downtown and along the ridge along hwy 40
Hi Robert. Awesome content my friend. Looking to endure a mini vacay next weekend. How can I contact you to ask your recommendations. Looking at the four corner area.
Now i know where the bear statue at St. Olav Hospital in Trondheim/Norway is inspired by. Much smaller , the one who lean towards the wall of the Emergency building. Looks like the bear is ready to be searched by the police
@Robert Gardea I just watched it again. You definitely said Gold Plated sir, at 1:16 in the video. The Closed Captioning also says Gold Plated. Too bad I can't post the screenshot.
"Some people just don't seem to care, and they dip their foot in the putrid water." "Mmm." This line will go into the TravelingRobert Sayings, "Hall of Fame."
I was thinking of staying in Denver for a week to start off a month vacation this summer driving around in Colorado and Utah. Have never visited the area. Searching for a good hotel or motel in walking distance from downtown that did not charge 300 dollars + a night, proved a daunting task. So I thought I could "settle" for a lesser expensive hotel, perhaps a few miles from the city center? A short Uber-ride. But when I started to read the reviews on tripadvisor and hotels.com from guests, my jaw dropped, and stayed permanently in that position for several hours, while I skimmed hundreds of feedbacks pertaining dozens of local two and three star "hotels", located a few clicks from downtown. Forget that the establishments were all overprized. At least they were somewhat affordable for a working-stiff. The rest was not promising. Almost without exceptions, the guests labeled the establishments as "worn out", "dirty", "smelly", "outdated", "unhygenic", "expensive", "disappointing", "rotten service", "incompetent", "broken" etc etc. And warned others not to stay there. Thats bad. But worse, in my opinion, was the description of the neighborhood outside the hotels. When in town one doesnt have to linger in a dumpy hotelroom. One can escape out and explore the city and sourroundings. Right? But when I read further, I started to doubt that logic. It described the area outside the hotels as: "Overrun by homeless people, thieves, drugdealers and general shady caracters". "I did not dare to go outside". "I did not dear leaving my room with my belongings still there". "The lobby and the parkinglot had hoodies loitering constantly, like they were canvassing the vehicles, guests and baggage, even when hotel-security tried to run them off, unsuccessfully". "The hotel was obviously located in a very depressed section of town". etc etc. Well. I took a look at a citymap that I had printed out, and marked the locations of a dozen hotels and motels with the terrible feedback. They formed kind of circle, 300 degrees around downtown. But in total they "touched" large segments of the city of Denver, if I drew a circle of 500 meters around every establishment. My conclusion from the reviews was that MOST of the city is kind of downtrodden, depressed, overrun by homeless people, thugs, thieves, drugdealers and general supershady caracters you dont want around you, your belongings or your loved ones. Especially when you are asleep at night. Combined with the terrible feedback on the establishments themselves I soon accepted that I had to make a choice. Either pay 300 dollars a night for a "safe" and clean hotel smack in the middle of the citycore - or avoid Denver altogether. Simply rent a car at the airport, and "run for the hills". I will choose the latter. Goodbye Denver, nice to never knowing you!
oh please, its not that boring,I been there before and there were lots to do,there was the 16th street mall, the zoo,the aquarium, elitch gardens which is amusement park,16th street mall and so on,but imo Denver great for visiting btw Denver has a population of 705,000 people now making it the 21st most populated city in the US
The problem is now it is over populated as massive amounts of growth have been happening lately and idk if the infrastructure can handle it anymore! I live here and I hope people stop moving and ruining my beautiful city!
Hey Antonio Banderas, Denver looks like it's the most boring and weirdest city in the world and I can't believe that I'm going there to visit just because my flight lands there. In this video I saw a bunch of antifa but surprisingly they were non-violent and looked like they were in hurry to get some organic apples from Whole Foods Market instead of regular apples from Wal-Mart.
So well presented and I like the music. Thanks!
Denver is a big city... but not too big! Love the video, great work 👌
I really enjoy your videos Robert. Your voice is pleasant Abdul relaxing to listen to . Come to Canada sometime. Thanks for you do. 😃😃
I’ve lived here in Colorado all my life and I love it here

Travel Robert,
What an excellent intro. Headed to Denver tomorrow and loved some of these suggestions. We will for sure to be going to Washington Park
Should you like the Wash Park area and want to buy a home, be prepared to drop more than $1MM for a home. It is a beautiful park.

AC BC That’s a beautiful place . Everyone is super nice also.
James Watson that’s a plus and I’m really excited .
My favourite City ever.
North and South Table Mts you see from Lariat Loop going up Lookout Mt
You can hike up either north or south table and on North Table there is the Colorado Railroad Museum which has a train ride in a big circular mile
There is also Blucifer the Blue Horse at the airport
