which btw, can be used here and is valid, but just feels unfair to the dozens of people who actually like your work
i hate the way the new version brands itself... V2 implies its a "new and improved" version of the song when its really not... its more of a reimagining
once again like mr noob said, keeping old work alive can help others see your improvement

Composers when they learn that they cant just force people to listen to the song they want them to
I don't get why every older version of their songs are privated. Ultimately, I understand if its out of a general disliking or embarrassment towards their older works but I feel it's a win-win to just... Leave the old video alone. Instead of privating or removing it. There can be people who have a preference for the older version of a song, and you can't really show improvement in a remaster if people can't see the first version.

This is just better imo compared to the newer version... I hate when they make a newer version of a mod and are just like: "yeah we're gonna remake all the songs even though the originals are perfectly fine as they are." same thing they did to Just A Theory.
