- Nice rounding off of the set with Bad & 40. An unexpected treat for the fans - not sure this was in the original plans for the set - last minute change possibly. Nice to hear again - always a powerful combination.
Just got home to Southampton from three magical days in Dublin. Night One was superb but last night blew the roof off The Point! Absolute honour to be there! Strangest thing ever earlier today. Finished my personal U2 pilgrimage with a visit to Cedarwood Road and who do ya think I met there? OK none of the band, but the fifth member for the night - the fella from Brazil that did the Meerkat moment!! Very surreal! He and his two companions then took a taxi with me to go and see Mount Temple...I went onto the Airport and they went back to the city as they are here for all four shows! Absolutely brilliant sharing U2 stories with people from the other side of the planet - the taxi driver thought we were proper geeks but who gives a f**k!

My first ever UA-cam posting. I'm a kid of the 70s so still catching up on how all this works. Thanks so much for uploading this. I typed in Bad Three Arena 2015 and your posting came up. This takes me way back in time. My first gig ever was U2 and BBKing in December 1989 in the Point Depot and I queued all night to get the tickets. I've seen them a few times since then, Slane and Croke Park. And now I've 2 small kids so getting to Dublin for this gig didn't happen. But watching this sure brings back memories and it's incredible to think that those 4 guys can still put on a performance like that. There's something so powerful about seeing the 4 of them so many years later. I don't think any band comes close......... Go raibh mile maith agat!!
Didn't get to this gigs but was at all the other Dublin concerts. But these 2 songs are within my top 5 U2 songs and they sung them one after the other. Looked a fabulous gig
I was there , the first time i have ever seen them in Dublin and it was everything i had hoped for. These guys are amazing, always putting on awesome shows for the fans. Thanks for the best gig of my life.

thank you bonoman66! seen the band close a couple of shows at couple of US shows over the last few tours. The feelings that come are both of great empathy, an extreme appreciation of U2's music and sadness. Because what the songs mean, at least in my head and realizing that a great night is quickly coming to an End..
You're welcome maddogwally. At least with these types of video momentos we take away as fans, we can try somewhat to hold onto our feelings of the night & relive parts of our experiences.

Live Aid: cometh the hour cometh the man, oh how I waited for the lads' appearance that day, thirty (30) years ago this year.... Jaysus you'd never know what Bono would come out once he begins ad-libbing. I heard lines from Van Morrisson's 'No Guru; No Method' LP during a Madrid concert, song lines from 'In the Garden' .

Agree with you. Always a powerful song to have the pleasure of hearing & seeing being played live by the guys.
Was not on the setlist, Bono called an audible to Dallas at the end of Beautiful Day and was confirmed by the printed setlist handed out to a young lady who was handed it from one of the crew from the e-stage guitar tech, was a young man that is probably a relation to one of the band because he did not look any older than 18 tops.

P.S - Great vid bonoman66 and your right I'm sure - Bono whispered to Dallas Edge's guitar tech before the end of the standard set and I'm pretty sure it was to load the backing track for Bad - managed to get Bad in on one of the London nights but to get 40 after it was a real treat

+Lee Russell I know someone who posted the setlist. "I Still Haven't..." was scheduled to end the show. When I saw Bono go over to Dallas, I told my friend that he probably changed the next song. Later I learned I was right.
