    Coaches can also be traded. Michel Bergeron was traded from the Quebec Nordiques in 1987 to the NY Rangers. There may be another team in rebuild who may be interested in acquiring a coach to develop young players.

    Looks like Staios allowed Smith to run the team's practice in Arizona before firing him right after practice was over.
    Jacques Martin and Daniel Alfredsson take over behind the Senators' bench on an interim basis.
    No real chance of making the playoffs this season, so this move was more to help the team prepare for next season.

    Great the next coach they should hire for the Job is Nick Nurse. Now before you say he's from a different sport. I don't care as long as he leads the team to the championships.
