The Martin episodes are always my favorites. They make such fantastic guitars.
It's hard to believe that guitar is 85 years old .... and sounds amazing !
Yeah,crazy
A testament to their quality; that is an 85 year old guitar that looks slightly used. 👍
I just close my eyes and listen. Beautiful.
Todd I waited all week for flat top fridays n I didn’t wait in vain thank you always wanted to know how a 1934 Martin would sound. Thank you you did it justice 👍🏻👍🏻🙏
That guitar has been loved by its owner. Beautiful.
I like Lemmo and Todd. They have a good vibe going on and compliment one another well.
That what an acoustic guitar should sound like. Another great flat top Friday.
Fun strummin' and quick pickin'! Love it!
I lit up from Fort Liquordale
I was trailed by twenty hounds
Didn't get to sleep that night
Till the morning came around
I was like..."hey, i know that tune"
Love seeing a Martin on these Flat Top Fridays! Beautiful playing from a beautiful instrument Todd! However! Gotta do a Maton!
Thanks Todd I always love your Grateful Dead sounds
Beautiful guitar and beautiful playing. There really is something special about just basic playing on such a perfect instrument.
Guitar of the day has been kicking ass lately! Good vibes. Keep it going!
All i ever wanted was the used D-15 from the '70s at Starving Musician, '96. $800 i didn't have.
THIS guitar is mind bending. Great work Todd !
Excellent Friend of the Devil picking! One of my favorites. It sounds like more than I can afford.
What a great sound, what a beautiful guitar. The playing was solid the hat awesome. Good job Todd!👍👏
We need more Grateful Dead, give Todd the Friday shows.
Finally some good major scale flat picking on a Martin. Love it!
Tod that was beautiful - giving voice to a lovely old lady who’s ‘seen’ this sad old world change out of all recognition! Love the vintage Martins - I’m hoping to get a modern one soon! Keep up the good work. God Bless you and all of the Norm’s family.

Considering I’m listening on an IPad and UA-cam highly compressed the audio, it sounded great. Todd is a wonderful acoustic player.
well done Todd , a beautiful guitar with a fantastic sound , it rings and chimes and booms like bells in a barrel , just huge and the thing looks brand new , unbelievable , almost 100 years old and it's nicer than my 25 year old guitars. Thanks guys
Beautiful Guitar. Sounded really good Todd. I like the samples of sound dispensed.
Agree....the 1.75 inch nut is a must for me also. I also like the modified V neck . That Martin is in wonderful condition for how old it is. Been playing a 00-18V for a few years now and enjoy it a lot.
He's a-pickin',
And I'm a-grinnin'!
Magnificent all the way around!
Sounds so good, loved that first song
85years old, amazing!! If only I had the money for that baby.
Great playing. And that guitar sounds amazing! The time is
Fantastic!
Very nice playing, Todd!! Thank you. 👍🏼👍🏼
I can't get over the condition of that thing ! Great job Todd and thank you Jen !
That's awesome.
I see you capitalized your brand. Good for you. UA-cam needs cowboys who ride for free.
Well if you go back there's a reason.
Go back to the Craig Ross video. Read my comment
@@guitarocd9984 hey dude, we're copacetic. Not being a smartass. Tell me the story.
Go back and read it.
This was great Todd. Very nice segment
Man, can Todd play well! What a beautiful tone on that '34 Martin!
Beautiful sounding guitar!
Beautiful guitar!
Great playing on a great Martin. Thanks
What gauge and brand of string please?
In a word.......superb.
Todd, Doc would be proud... Side note: Just saw John Butler. See if The Edibles At Night can get him to stop-in. It wouldn't suck... :) Thanks
I see a lot of comments re Grateful Dead. I thought that was Arkansas Traveler. Amazing how the timber of that guitar comes over UA-cam!👍
Solid nod to the Martin guitar company. What great sounding box at 85!!!
So, as that has the OM scale, it would be an OM-18 if it were made today?
nice playing ,,, nice sounding guitar.
Great picking Todd. The guitar is pretty good too.
One of the best Guitar of the Days ever!
Beautiful Todd! Great job
Holy crap, That was awesome!
Except it's not a shorter neck. The scale length difference is in the bridge placement.
I'd love to add this to my Martin set!
Strummy strum (first tune) is Church Street Blues, Norman Blake
Martin is the "holy grail" of acoustic guitars. (IMO)
Beautiful guitar,do the strings touching each other on the tuning pegs cause any problems?
You sold that guitar.
The 1st song reminded me of a Carter Family Style song. The 3rd one has a Marty Stuart and Travis Tritt feel. Both ole Marty and Travis would approve of that👍🏻.
That was great.
👍
..nice job ..👍
Todd,
What’s your opinion of Guild vs. Martin (any particular model)
I always felt Guild pretty much hammered the 12-String spot on
PS
It’d be nice to see a 12-String on FTF👍🏻👍🏻
nice!
beautiful guitar todd. i'd love to see you play if you ever get one in a bass acoustic i know there rear.
Look forward to flat top Friday's ! :-)
Love ❤️ it! Great job 👍
Truly a beautiful guitar 🎸
I think you are spot on Todd
I’m a big fan of Todd
That was breathtaking.
Beautiful playing. Superb guitar - I particularly like the lack of bling.
Awesome guitar! What is the nut material, ebony?
Finally got to the playing at about 6:34 Menos hablar, más tocar la guitarra.
Gorgeous playing.
Great job of showcasing the guitar without showboating.
Nice picking Todd!
I like Todd episodes waaaay better than Michael ones!! More Todd please!!
Anyone know that last song he plays ?
“ strummy strumming” love you Todd
Fantastic guitar! Really fab! How much $ ???
Lucky you that gets to PLAY that Martin, you didn't say what the finger board and bridge made from, is it ebony?
I second the Billy Strings request!
Wisenbaker!!!
Totally odd.
Wow....
Open your eyes, hear with your ears feel the vibrations, smell the wood, feel the strings for this is a Martin and there are comparable quality guitars, but it’s the best there is. Santa Cruz my #2 then Taylor then... who knows. Nice playing enjoyed it very much, Byeeeeeeee
Is a shorter scale 000 that much better for fingerpicking? I've fingerpicked 25.5s my whole life, but I always hear shorter is better for fingerpicking. Anyway, beautiful guitar of course.
Yeolde toneVille ....WOW !
I'd like to see Molly Tuttle or Billy Strings on this channel playing vintage guitars.
Check out Carter vintage Guitars Videos.
Todd's hat is sick!
I like Todd on friday's.. Call it "Acoustic corner Friday's" .
I kinda prefer the mahogany back and sides to rosewood.
I prefer the mahogany tone.
That's why I bought a D-18 vs a D-28.
Totally Todtatastic .
Go Flyers!!!
He starts playing at 6:30
You kicked Arse, Todd! Flattop Friday's are now yours 😎 👍
( *Norm* : 😠 Don't argue, Buddy, just make it happen!😆)
i was looking forward to micheal singing today :( great episode though
Church Street Blues!
Nice Todd.
Hey Todd ,what size razor blades do use use I'll send you some. That ain't a good look for you.
Oh
JJ Cale hat
And 34 Martin. More Todd.
No electricity required.
Bob
Easy with a 40 dollar pick, not . Great sounding one there
I am McLovin!
Todd, I think the word you were seeking was "Passion"
Its the mohagany.
Todd is the man, more Todd!
Nice! Toddy Rice
