I always use tofu pureed for any and everything that I would use sour cream or yogurt to. This soup would be very easy and cheaper with a block of tofu blended in it.

Love the fact that your kids genuinely like and enjoy the food and they also say when they don’t like it. That’s wry honest.

ha ha. That is true. They are too young to hide it if they don't like it!

Pumpkin bars are baking right now! Sampling the leftover filling from the bowl and a bit of the crust mixture. Oh my goodness! The flavors are amazing! Exactly what I’ve been looking for!

My husband and I have been vegan for years. Your videos have been amazing in terms of taste, nutritional content and cost. As an emergency veterinarian that works 12-18 hour shifts, your recipes have helped me in creating healthy, budget friendly meals. We appreciate your great content/videos and hope to learn more great recipes from you. If you have and/or are planning on selling a cookbook in the future, we would definitely purchase!

I made the little pumpkin and chocolate "cookies" I used real pumpkin that I had frozen so I had to use a lot more flour because it was so liquidy, but I have to say these are probably the best 'cookies" or "bites" I have made since trying to eat more plant based. Thank you. - finally a keeper recipe.

I use blended tofu in my roasted pumpkin soup. I roast the pumpkins myself as we don't get tinned pumpkin purée. Cumin and tumeric are classics with squashed. I've a few to roast, so looking forward to making these recipes!

Just made that peanut butter and pumpkin dip to take to work. It’s great a little bit different than taking hummus all the time.

I have noticed, you often sub for fresh ginger with dried. You can keep fresh ginger super easy. Just toss it in a mason jar in the freezer. You can grate the frozen ginger (skin and all) into whatever needs fresh ginger and toss the root back in to jar. No need to thaw and you have a ll the bright ginger flavor whenever, no special effort.

Hi Ali, I'm going to make those cookies today!
BTW, you can make the soup creamy with even more protein by blending up some tofu😋

I don't remember you giving non-vegans the option of cow's milk (one of your last videos) or regular yogurt before. Why did you start doing it? Your channel has "plant" in it's name...

@@mariannepa4583 I'm just asking a question.I like her channel and I started to like it because I'm vegan. Why are you so bothered, I wonder?

At lot of women in my program are transitioning to a plant-based or vegan diet and it can be helpful for them during the transition phase. But I'll keep your comments in mind for future videos.

Be sure your baking powder does not contain aluminum.
Also please do not endorse people harm animals by suggesting they use or purchase non-vegan products on your vegan channel. Stand up for your values. Virtually every nutritional and dietetics association in the world says a well planned vegan diet is nutritionally adequate for all people in all stages of life. Suggesting that people needlessly harm animals is not ok. Downvoted 👎

@@sherri. Well I upvoted my comment, so it balances out. 😎
In every explanation there is hidden an apology, don't bother telling me you're a vegan explain it to the animals.
