Hi Jay! Thanks for your input! We appreciate the dialogue! Our stance is that MCAT and GPA cannot be used as a weeding-out strategy. Many excellent applicants for medicine are rejected based on standardized testing, which is not something that can predict your success as a medical student, or as a doctor.
@@BeMoAcademicConsulting Physicians must take standardized tests that lead to residency and beyond. An inability to perform on these tests will result in high dropout rates which is an expensive waste for both med schools and students.
Hi Jay! Thanks for your comment and insight. We understand that the current system does require these, but being good at taking tests is not an indicator of being a good physician. We suggest revising some admissions and institutional practices. That's just our opinion!
