I must admit I was worried about my lack of concentration being able to sit through over an hour for a tutorial but unlike most of the tutorials I find on UA-cam, Jenny not only tells you how, but also why something is done in a particular way which held my attention. Thank you so much jenny for a most excellent tutorial.
Thank you, Jenny, for this great tutorial. I purchased the slate frame and accoutrements on Monday night, it arrived Thursday from the UK to Tampa, FL. What great service. Now, with the help of this tutorial, I am ready to embroider on Sunday morning. I would have been ready last night but It just got too late. After hearing others talk about how long it took to set up their slate frames, I was anticipating a much more arduous process. This was actually pretty easy and did not take long. Thank you!
This has been an incredibly helpful tutorial Jenny, thank you! I followed along and have managed to lace up my first slate frame with your guidance. I really felt like I had you sat next to me whilst I worked my way through your method. Much appreciated! 🥰
Thank you, Jenny, for demystifying how to set up a slate frame. I’ve been wanting to get started on your Owl & Pussycat design but couldn’t get round to framing up using the instructions in a book. Now I have no excuse😀❤️
Hello Jenny thank you for a comprehensive video so good to see you as I attended a stump work course at the RSN given by you. I have my piece in the wooden box your father made. Happy stitching Neil
Thank you Jenny for this wonderful tutorial. I have a question. I usually use silk for embroidery and I use calico for backing. How do you do slate frame in these cases? Many thanks
This ironing technique is how my mother does tablecloth linen, especially brocades. It brings out the dull/shiny contrast. Care to be taken with heat on poly blends.
Thank you Jenny, and thank you to your uncle for the beautiful new frame!! Just working at setting it up!!
