But Lakshmi-Kuber idol is there in Southwest of our home. So where to place it? Can we place the Shree Meru Yantra in front of the Lakshmi-Kuber idol? Please guide.

yes each sacred geometry symbol needs a personal activation to make it your own .. depending on which symbol you are working with, each one has a certain way of activating it.

tattoo is not a bad idea , just that the efficacy oif this yantra is suspect, to get the p;recise yantra is almost impossible.
Is it okay to use more than one Shri Yantra at the same time in the same space?

Pran pratishtha in Shree Yantra is a completely different process.

If a sri yantra has already been activated do i have to reactivate if I relocate it?
Not absolutely necessary but it does help to reactivate it from time to time or with change in location
